Because the effects of bd buffs are included in harmony. If you don't receive harmony buff you can cast and feel effects of bd buffs.

Yes, I want BD dances + melodies + sonatas. If the game doesn't really begin until you Awaken anyway, they might as well do everything that they can to help get the players below 85 up the ladder as quickly as possible. As it stands, even with Mentor buffs and sonatas the BD is a slow killer.
wait till the next update, i read they are reducing the 200% mentee buff to something like 50%. lvl up now while you can with whatever class you like and awaken asap.

Use Hex and a bow, not dual swords.
Yeah, I've been doing that, using bow and hex when I do the Plains of Lizardman quest, and a two hand sword and hex everywhere else (although the two hander was highly OE) and I seem to kill much faster than with just the duals.
Dumb sugestion, BD level fast first of all. Sonatas are the replacements for dances/songs, if these stack soon every char will be a GM.
No, every pre-Awaken would be GM, which is what makes it a great idea. :)
BD do not level as fast as you think. I can name a few melee characters that xp even faster given the same buffs, including a DA/HK with Vanguard skills and Panther. That is just sad.

If i could stack dances (and songs?) with sonata, i would make a new character and let him stay lvl 85, why?
Cause i would be "GM" after i awaken.

Edit: And honestly, why would they want pre-awaken characters to lvl up quicker?
If they wanted you do lvl up quicker, they would make a new quest chain, not *** up the balance ;)

My iss is a dark elf female...yea i know what im talking of. If you mentioned prophet, id back you up, but you chose one of the classes that has the easiest time lvling.

They are also adding a chain of quests designed to level up quickly to 85 (I prefer grind so I'd much rather just get more exp per mob).

As you already know this has already happened once before. Songs and dances that weren't part of the current sonatas/harmony you had were able to stack. I honestly did not see this as overpowered but there were not any level 99s with +16 R99 weapons to see how OP it may have been.

I remember this but this essentialy made mages useless if it could be done now. Back then mages were considered rly strong burst DPS, so those 30% m def were not THAT much, but as you know m atk doesnt scale like p atk does, so if for example song of warding had stack, nukers would disapear fast.
just try to catch raids .. till 65lvl they are very often on , after 65 its a bit harder , and 75+ u need to camp.... Also good guy val helman spawns every night so it can give some exp like each 4h , and with mentor buff , u can lvl up on raids very quickly if u are lucky ofc , leveled up my iss in two days just on them ^^
