Hello Friends

Okay so i have been interested in playing this game for a few years and am finally gonna try i was just curious however and needed to ask if it is legal to mod this game. During my running around on the internet, reading about the game while it installed, i found things about weapon mods and character skin mods. So it naturally, this being an online game, a person can maybe understand why i am confused as to how you could possibly mod this game. Any answers are appreciated. please don't snap at me though i didn't mean to bother anyone with this question and if you don't have anything to say that is an ANSWER don't say anything, no use being mean.

Official system that lets you to change the appearance of the weapons and sets. It's a ''mod'' for those users who do not like the new l2 designs items... Anyway, here's the link: http://www.lineage2.com/en/game/the-library/items/appearance-stones.php

What mods are you talking about?
Changing enchant color etc?

I think it is against the rules to modify the game files.

Contact the support and ask them if X is allowed (X=whatever you wanna mod)

Yes, it's against the EULA blablabla to change game files, most notorious examples are Textures swap where armors looks become diferent, that's ilegal. Changing cache size, ilegal, but highly stupid decision cause every1 would benefit in a positive way from this. Changing ingame messages, music, sounds, skill animation swap, User interface, ilegal. all of that sort of stuff, even if it sounds harmless, yea, ilegal.

So, you got an answer, IT'S NOT POSSIBLE... Anyway it's a fool idea!
