Is that program allowed to use while playing L2 or isnt it?

Juji has no clue and Sauce ignores my PM's

Does anyone know? I would like a link to any statement regarding that, i am not taking anyones word for it unless they are employees of NCSoft
Everything is allowed, but taking responsibility is mandatory.
I use it. Doesn't help much on L2NA.

This.

Also, there's a sticky thread on it.
All i found was a stickied post regarding Battleping, where Sace stated that it was ok to use Battleping.

No "official" statement regarding Leatrix.
Leatrix isn't an active program, it's just an interface so people don't have to change their windows registry files manually and potentially mess up their computer. You can't be banned for changing how your internet protocols operate in your computer unless it's Microsoft that bans you!
if the program alters or changes files in the lineage 2 folder then you can't use it, but if it is a program that controls your ping or makes a steady connection towards lineage 2 then you are free to use it, although i would be carefull definetly with the "new policy in banning" from NCsoft which perhaps makes them ban you in a instant because they see it as a 3rd party program
" Leatrix Latency Fix will reduce your online gaming latency significantly by increasing the frequency of TCP acknowledgements sent to the game server. For the technically minded, this is a program which will modify TCPAckFrequency. "
latetrix is modyfing windows file not game one .
It is not bannable long time ago even support was recomending this with battleping :P
Overall decreasing ping programs aren't bannable because for what ?: )
It is same as you could get banned for having different font installed .
And from my personal experience : laetrix + lowerping = what you need to be able to play without lag in laggage 2 .
Leatrix is designed for old windows 95.
Some IP protocol bugs of Windows 98/Millenium was solved by Microsoft patches.
Leatrix don't work in updated windows 98/millenium / windows 2000 and above.
Leatrix is okay to use. Posting a sticky about this in the Player Questions forum today, stay tuned. :)

what kind of fail are you ?

System Requirements

Leatrix Latency Fix is supported on these operating systems only.
Windows 8
Windows 7
Windows Vista (SP1 or higher)
Windows XP (SP3)
So, here's another vote for LLF.....

used to have about 50 ping

now have 30 ping

and my game is noticably smoother. Like butter...

(on windows 7 btw)
This is already sticky by Sace.

Support <> Work

Leatrix is not a tunneling service like battleping or wtfast.

How to prove this?
Without leatrix ping run to command prompt and type:

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>Where is the latency fix with this miracle tool?

Sace can post everything about tools to reduce lags, she is a full qualified people and test all this tools to prove the improvements in game, like tests of updates in every maintenance.

Maybe this is only a brazilian problem and leatrix really work to people from europe/north america. Anyone from this continents can share results of latency with and without leatrix fix?

Now uninstall and test again...

Tunneling servers working different (examples):
Without tunneling:
Client > City 1 > City 2 > City 3 > City 4 > City 5 > City 6 > City 7 > City 8 > City 9 > City 10 > Server

With tunneling:
Client > City 1 > City 2 > City 3 > City 4 > Server
Yeah, all Leatrix does is just modify some registry entries, which you could do yourself via regedit. I am sure changing those parameters helps some people with latency problems, I myself did not see any difference in L2 (but it made my downloads slower, so I removed the changes again). It's a harmless modification, so just try it, you can always remove it again if it does not help.

But looking at the Leatrix homepage, I had to smile a bit - from reading the change notes, it seems that all the changes going from 1.00 to 3.00 were just changes to the installation process, going from a simple registry fix script to a full-blown multi-megabyte Python monstrosity, but it still seems to just add the same old registry keys. But I guess that's ok when you just want to click something to install the fix instead of googling first for the correct registry keys.
