Testing: Summons benefits from Amaranthine weapons
Question: Does the Bloody Amaranthine Stone put on a R99 weapon increase the damage of summons during PvE ?
Reason: Adding a PvE or PvP stone or R99 weapon is **** expensive. Does summoners need this investment ?
Prerequite : Being able to get rid of damage variation on summon
Procedure : Get a Wynn Summoner Level 99, With a Bloody Amaranthine Thrower. No attribute, No enchantment needed. Hit a npc with any summon. Do the same test with a regular Amaranthine Thrower.
Extra bonus : If you have any spare time, feel free to do it with Dark Amaranthine Thrower on PC targetTrial 1:
Character: Level 99 Human Wynn Summoner
Pet: lvl 99 Cougar
Character Status: Heavenly Cocktail, Heavenly Atk. Cookie, Ultimate Servitor Share, and Beast Soulshots
Weapons: Amaranthine Thrower and Bloody Amaranthine Thrower (+15% NPC DMG)
Mob: Andreas' Escort (lvl 99)
Note: P. Atk was increased to the same amount when the non-enhanced weapon was equipped.
Results:
Amaranthine Thrower - 1,589 Damage | 6,953 Critical Damage | 4,522 Character P. Atk | 11,546 Servitor P. Atk
Bloody Amaranthine Thrower - 1,590 Damage | 6,955 Critical Damage | 4,527 Character P. Atk | 11,550 Servitor P. Atk
Trial 2:
Character A: Level 99 Human Wynn Summoner
Pet: lvl 99 Cougar
Character Status: Heavenly Cocktail, Heavenly Atk. Cookie, Ultimate Servitor Share, and Beast Soulshots
Character B: Level 99 Human Tyrr Warrior
Weapons: Amaranthine Thrower and Dark Amaranthine Thrower (+15% PC DMG)
Note: P. Atk was increased to the same amount when the non-enhanced weapon was equipped.
Results:
Amaranthine Thrower - 9,660 Damage | 36,823 Critical Damage | 4,522 Character P. Atk | 11,546 Servitor P. Atk
Dark Amaranthine Thrower - 9,663 Damage | 36,835 Critical Damage | 4,527 Character P. Atk | 11,550 Servitor P. Atk
Conclusion: As you can see the PvP/PvE weapons did not affect the servitor damage. I tried the same test on a Tyrr and saw the 15% bonus from the weapons. I will check with the dev team about this issue. Thanks for the test request Laby!
Tons of adena for 15% more damage for mark of fire, mark retriever and invoke... nice. Yes they should do something about that.
Question, will SA's on your weapon affect your servitors damage VS players?
(Afterall, dual SA increases damage by 10%)
Logically, i dont see why it should, since both SA's and PvP/PvE effects are passive skills (Or well, bound to your weapon), and since servitors does not share your skills/weapon, why should it affect their damage?
That would not make any sense at all.

No PvP bonus from SA on weapon. Never been like that. It's only since Freya or High 5 Patch that summons do 100% damage in PvP.
I'm not surprised by the outcome. Summoners are being screwed over by game design every day. The PvP Bloody weapon type is like having epics as summoner, it's useless and money sink because only 10% of the effect is transferred, IF it's transferred.

My point exactly, so the outcome of this "lab report" shouldnt come as a shock, since it is pretty much the same thing.
Yes, sadly. Although having i.e. Focus or Acumen on your weapon does benefit your summon, that is only because of Ultimate Servitor Share transfering x% of your stats. The PvP bonus (or even PvP Augment on S/S80) never transferred.
Summoners are so funny, really.
So u guys want that each of those 2 summons hit 15% more dmg each one and u using skills with ur weapon boost dmg too in pvp/pve? (15% as well).
Something else maybe? Bazookas on bears?
Summons don't hit for 100% of their P/M.Atk, only 70%. Also why should a Feoh which is hitting me for 30-50k normal hits (+16 R99 Weapon) be allowed to do 15% more Damage and why am I not? Got whooped to much by summoners? Cry moar.

Summons haven't done 100% damage since C1 or whenever that pvp penalty was input way back when. You must be referring to when they started to share 100% element damage and resistance with the summons?
Also no wizard shouldn't be hitting you for that much as a mage nonetheless a summoner with transfer pain unless you just awakened and are fighting stacked level 99 wizards.

Hello Juji,
Did you get any answer from the developers yet regarding this question ?
Tons of adena for 15% more damage for mark of fire, mark retriever and invoke... nice. Yes they should do something about that.
I doubt they will, its probably working as intended - because if you think about it the +15% pvp dmg or PVE damage will come from a Passive Item Skill, and those were never shared with Servitors in previous chronicles besides for Epics Crit dmg like Baium/aq.
New servitors will do 30-50% more dmg more, will have agression and iirc paralyze also...
So don't cry for what is and was working as intended :p
Just because you thought differently, doesn't mean it shoudl be like that.
I guess... :p
And btw, is this test still valid since Lindvior ? If you have any free time I would really enjoy a little update. Ty !
I'll check the testing again for Lindvior. I'm still waiting on a bunch of questions regarding game design :(
