Is there anyone able to justify the correct sum when buying items via Ncoin store via NA L2 is balanced with Korea L2.
Let's say I'm using aussie dollars compared to a korean in korea using their currency and we both buy the same item, is the price adjusted equally on both sides. Or are we saying the person using aussie dollars is paying for more for the same item as the korean player because the aussie dollar is more than the Korean currency ?. Secondly how does tax on this currency conversion take place ?
I'd like some explanation from NcWest on how this is handled equally towards the western side of the world of L2. I feel like I'm giving more currency away to the black hole.
It feels like you always personally target me every time i put up a post, and you are not helping in any way. But since you like ripping yourself I'm not the fool here as your reply is evident on that even before any information from ncwest is posted in this section.
Congratulations on seeing yourself go to jail even before the judge can hear what you have to say :).
There's an NCSoft partner that does that on Brazil. I currently pay all my NCCoins on my currency, but mostly to avoid credit card BRL-USD conversion, cause the price is pretty similar.

It feels like you are a bit paranoid.
As for the Ncoin thing, what exactly are you disgruntled about? Do you feel they are charging too much for items in the L2 store?
You could be more positive with your comments instead of being paranoid yourself. I'm asking a question.
I'am trying to find out if some people pay more for items they purchase via the l2 store using ncoins. Is what you buy via the l2 store adjusted correctly to the currency level if you know what i mean. For e.g. player A buys 1 xp cookie for 10 U.S. dollars compared to player B who uses Chinese currency.
So far to 1 post reply from Nagahl6 said it is similar.
I would hate to see people paying more than others thats for sure. I gota hunch that it's adjusted to some lvl but I'm still curious thats all.
And wouldnt that be relative to your income, and how your currency scales towards others?
I know the Swedish Krona is in no way weak compared to other currencies. Is this what you mean? That I might pay less with my currency than you do with yours?
Also, are you saying its up to NCwest to adjust for all the different countries and income lvls, to keep it fair?
C'mon mate let's not be stupid with what you said "Also, are you saying its up to NCwest to adjust for all the different countries and income lvls, to keep it fair?"
Now to help some of the player base this is what I'm going to suggest. Depending of where you live and if you want to buy some ncoins. Make sure that you look at your zones currency compared to what currency you require to buy ncoins. For e.g. I use australian dollars. So to max out how many ncoins i buy I make sure i buy them when the australian dollar is at a high and not weak as the outcome could either go positive or negative. If i know that the australian dollar is doing terrible in the markets this week I will not buy ncoins. I will wait till it gets a bit stronger then buy ncoins.
As you can see ncsoft don't handle this side of balancing they just require you pay US dollars depending on where you live. So if you had bought ncoins the week your nations currency was bad then it's not fair is it ? Because they too don't adjust the prices on the l2 store with real live currency changes at all. And you know most people wont even look at the currency market so there is a blind spot towards many L2 players am i not correct on this ?.
or would you be happy to pay your hard earned dollars even when your currency is weak ???
I think it would be impossible for NCsoft to adjust according to current market flux.
But then again, I dont really go check the market before buying Ncoin, the difference between high and low is not that big for me, Swedish Krona is pretty stable. What is your country up to where it makes it worthwhile to even check the market?

I tend to agree with Smittie again (It's becoming too often this, must stop :))
I had a few paid accounts with L2 before it became f2p, and for some reason, I had one that was a US account. so I paid $15/month for that one, and £8.50 (about $13) for the Euro accounts.
It would be a total nightmare (and I'm not exaggerating), it they tried to balance the prices according to the exchange rate at the time.
Even personally, when I look at a US dollar price and mentally divide it by 1.5 to give a rough idea of UK pounds price. (the rate at this precise moment is £1 = $1.61)
As was said earlier in this thread, I would like to pay for items at the prices found in countries where their tax is lower, and their prices are lower, but I wouldn't want to be paid at their salary rates.
We also pay 20% tax on NC coin purchases.. so that $50 becomes $60 :(

Really?
Unless I was buying a considerable amount of NCCoins, it wouldn't have *much* effect.

Yes, we're talking a few quid here.
I *DO* however take a little more care when importing equipment from China/rest of world when we're looking at 000's of dollars; but having said that, if I need something, a few dollars either way won't affect the need.
I can understand that, a few dollars wont hurt ofc. Though when you look at it from a global point of view and not from an individual point of you every cent counts. Now with your view if everyone was to say that, how much money do you think they would make from people like you and do you justify that as being fair ?
Would you have the same attitude if your tax agent told you "hey give me a few more since your a nice guy". Be it 1 or 2 dollars more is not much from an individual standpoint. Let's look at everyone of those small dollars turn out to god knows what.
As for me i buy in bulk. I wait for the currency to be at a good level then i make the purchase. I agree with you in terms of managing prices to a point or else it could be a nightmare. But many people don't clearly put the picture in their mind that NcSoft is still raising prices from the first day F2P turned on with L2 store items.
What I see with the L2 store is that prices are spiking so dam high even if somone put in 50 dollars per month most items will goble half of that. How can i say it, it's just like you giving most of your ncoins away for not many items in return. Have a look at the appearance stones, now do you justify that being a fair price ? anways this is all i had to say. Some control would be nice or a balance.
