Sometimes my lab tests cannot answer your lab request questions. In these cases, I gather your questions and send them to the dev team for more clarification. I hope with this information it will help give a better understanding of how certain game mechanics work in Lineage II.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Lab Request Questions:
Question #1 - How do the stats on Ceremony of Chaos jewels affect your skills and character status?

Question #2 - Do the jewels increase the chance of successfully landing a second debuff after the first debuff is applied? (even with the 15-second resistance penalty)Answer #1: Ceremony of Chaos jewelery gives your character attack rate (chance) and resistance for debuffs.

For Example: If character A uses a +50% attack rate bleed skill on character B, then character B's chance to get the bleed debuff is increased by 50%. When character B equips a CoC +20% bleed earring, character B's chance to get the bleed debuff is now 30% against character A's 50% bleed skill.

If character A uses a +50 attack rate bleed skill with a CoC+20% bleed earring, then character B's chance to get a bleed debuff is 70%.

*These same principles also apply to epic boss jewel stats*

Answer #2: No, the first skill does not affect the second one.
Ty Juji for this one.

then character B's bleed rate is 50%.

do you mean something like

The chance for the character B to get the debuff Bleed is increased by 50%

I have some problems with the first explanation, sorry :(
Ty Juji for this one.

Yes, that is correct. Sorry about the confusion, I'll clarify that more.
Adding a new lab report about resistance that will clarify how stacking resistance jewels works. This report is still valid though to show how a Ceremony of Chaos Jewel works.
