Each tyrr will have its weapon mastery so look your own race/class. If you were duelist change the pole then! :)
Hi, it doesn't matter who you were before 4th class change... all awakened chars will choose with the Lindvior update the class again... so u can become Tyrr Destroyer, Tyrr Duelist... (as i know you can't choose maestro, it's dedicated for dwarfs only).
All skills will stay as before so u will still use Pole weapon. U just add some active skills and weapon masteries.
Rumors are that the update will not come sooner then early summer (maybe late April but who knows...) echo update is still not completely implemented (glory days contained part one and two) echo part 3 will be small boost for Tyrr and Othel so I'm looking forward to that as Tyrr player :-)
As for your question about best PvP weapon i can just say the Pole has lowest p.atk of all Tyrr possible weapons and the SAs are not so useful too... than you can choose between dualswords (best pvp SAs for sure - Health+Haste) or for me best pve/pvp compromise > 2 handed sword (SAs Haste+Focus)
I'm really not into fists because of lightning force triggering just + atk. speed
And dual blunts has low base crit.rate, from last update increased to 6, so it's slightly better than used to be. (PS: I'm wondering why the Ron dual blunts still has the 4 :confused:)
So my advice ? Keep your poleaxe and buy the second weapon of your future Tyrr specialization- for Dreadnought Tyrr the poleaxe is definitely best choice and you don't need any other weapon (but you should consider that the update will come after few months).
I personally bought the Ron dual blunts because of low price (even much lower than other unidentified r95 weapons except fists), possibility of reselling that weapon in future (it's standard weapon) and the magic resist trigger which i have to test when I will finally reach the 95 lvl xD
