Nice to See

Yesterday ( 1-22-13 ) i was out lvling in Fairyland and was shocked to see NCJuji show up where i was lvling. I am sure he was out LF Botters, which was a "Breath of Fresh Air"...i can only hope this means NC is now gonna get "proactive" in the hunt for botters...and Umm Juji....those some really nice duals ya got there ( can i have em plz ) :D

That would be nice to see them at regular intervals searching for BOT's :)

He could not do anything about bots even if he was looking because therevis no in game GM command for banning somebody. As Peri said he was probably testing sonething on the live server to check something in the Q & A server.

Remember Juji has limited levels of GM access as does Sace. They are forum admins not GM to the game. They can do limited things. Banning and investigating bots is not one of them. They are responsible for other things. When you see them log in and buff in towns or communicate with players that's more of what they do. Bot control isn't one of them.

I suspect the test server has a "clean" environment, without the messed-up codes they put on the live servers (which also cause bugs to appear).
It's safer to assume that tests made on the live servers reflect what you'll get on those same live servers.

As for making announcements he was using the same program, same as GM's use now which is why you will never see a high ranking GM in the game because they do not have to log in.

Well, who cares what program GM uses to ban someone. GM who runs around and see bot, he can use that admin program to do that ban.. Like Spam. He also PKed some ppl :D

I'm not a GM, which is actually more of a customer support role. I do have access to all GM abilities though. As for the reason why the OP saw me, I was investigating the lag on the servers. We are definitely becoming more proactive against bots and RMT. You may not see it on your end as much, but things are getting better.

Sorry to break your false beliefs, but there is more than one ingame command to ban a player on L2OFF.That even includes IP range bans.

Well...the files that left russian PTS seems to be "offlike". So if there is a command...why not here? Ofc there is a possibility that we are the ones who are playing l2-demo :]

I have a command list up to Livindor from one of the Korean GM's and there are no ban command present. Whatever files the illegal server (s) are using are no doubt midified by whoever has them, like all junk private servers.

Juji, go sometimes on Bloody Swampland (near Altar area).
Few days ago i saw a party of bots for sure.
I will try to report that situations or submit ticket, but sometimes You can take a visit in Swampland :)

Cool, keep believing in your custom modded server files and you will be happy. :)

There is nothing to be happy, cos these files are not modded, the command is supported by the client too, so keep your Korean-sources for yourself :)

I think some of us need to realize that this game is never going to be like it used to be. There isn't the customer support like in that past. There probably never will be. A nine year old game doesn't spend money on hiring employees.
