ok, heres my qq whatever thread, but its a point to be made about a flawed issue:
Bloody Amaranthine Stone - 4bil (this is a pve stone, pvp stones would go for 25bil+ minimum, but are even more rare than pve stones) (wanted pvp, but lol good luck on that)
360 x Energy of Destructions - 28,800 nc coin ($360 + tax) or 72 days if u do 5 per day
180 x Giant's Energy - 1,125,000,000 adena (6.25mil per energy or a ton of time on olympiad)
3,024 x R-Grade Gemstones - 3,628,800,000 adena at a no tax city from mammon (1,200,000 adena per stone minimum)
36,287 x R-Grad Crystals - bought in auction house for roughly 650,000,000 adena (650kk)
chances of success with regular non blessed weapon - 50%
chances of success with blessed weapon - 100%
chances of finding R99 Blessed Scroll in game (non event) means - 0%
Items kept after fail - weapon only (you loose everything else, not even a 50% reimbursement of items)
this may work in korea, but the fact that we have to risk 10bil+ in raw adena and over 2+ months worth of time just to get a chance at succeeding a pve enhanced weapon at a 50% success rate is asinine. I would have clicked a pvp stone but only 1 exists on chronos, which means i settled for the pve version as its all that existed. I would have happily paid RL cash for a R99 blessed scroll (to get the 100% success rate) but you cant get them unless ncsoft west decides to sell them. I would have liked to use the dark pvp stone, but its practically impossible to get them through the only in game method (tax campaigns).
this is what kills a game. im not saying everyone and their mother needs to get one of these, but if the chances of getting a specific item is 0.001%, then you have a 50% success rate to even put it on your weapon, there is no real need to drop money into this anymore.
everyone can comment how they like, i gathered the adena with my constant (7 people) over the past 1.5 months and now all that is for nothing.
i prolly wont post much more in this thread, as im pretty much left with nothing much to say. we all know the in game %'s have historically been wrong (mage weapon enchant anyone?). tough luck and awesome korean random.
tl;dr version: 1.5 months of grinding to attempt a 50% success rate junk tier stone (non pvp) on a weapon and failed. i wanted to use a pvp stone but thats literally impossible to find, and only 3 pve stones have shown up that im aware of. lost all items (10+ bil) form attempting the exchange at the mammon. no method of obtaining r99 blessed scrolls in game unless ncwest puts an event on (only way to get 100% success rate). system sucks. peace out.
PvE stones drop from each antharas and valakas with 100% chance. It's been quite some time since the antharas/valakas nerf, so I believe there are a few on each server now.
I have seen one pve stone in AH on naia and it wasn't expensive at all, just a few hundred milions. TBH, I wouldn't buy it even for 1 adena. 10B is way too much to make one more powerful against NPCS.
We will be able to put pvp/pve options into eternal armors after lindvior update. It needs A LOT of these stones, so i hope there will be more ways to obtain them (pvp stones i mean)
Afaik with Livindor will be 3 ?? Raids in open field to obtain these stones.
So lot of pvp (or zone lock from top clans, Hellbound times anyone? ^^) should be there.
But i agree about some chances are incredible. Just to name Longing Talisman costs.
I know L2 always been a hardcore grind/farm game, but the amount of Green's is just too much. Especially if we also consider the korean random.
To be honest, i would even be willing if the costs would be more, if then the chance would be 100%.
Isn't that like the old old old L2 when you grind a lot for a weapon over a long period of time and you just have 60% chance of actually crafting it? Considering you could drop it or have to enchant it after without breaking it which are aditional costs.
Isn't this the same principle? But applied to upgrades. I thought you guys were hardcore.

Just do a lil math and check how many days u need for the Green's if you happen to fail 2x
That has nothing to do with anything that was hardcore back in the days.
I don't see the point of this topic at all.
First it is supposed to be hard to get PVE or PVP option. This is the very most endgame stuff out there at the moment.
You knew its 50%, so what's the problem? You gave your best shot and failed, try again.Yes it sucks that it costs a lot, but what doesn't cost a lot since GoD?
On the other hand, if you say it's a "junk", then why you wanted to get a junk after all?To show off around or wut? - "Look mom I have a Bloody option on my wpn that I made +15 with your CC"

Mate, i failed 16 crafts in a row back in the day, weapons armors A and S, it's the same i see here, you're unlucky, you get punished just like i did for example. Farming for something that you truly needed and failing over and over was hardcore, and this item PvE stone, is not even a must at all, yet being end game. It wil leventually get easier somehow, like it always has.
@OP, join a clan that farms Anthy & Valakas which drops at least 1 bless R99 weapon everytime and hope your constant cares enough about u to ask for 1.
These things are for end game clans, outside of that enjoy the market with insane prices ;)

@ Yunalesca
Lets say you failed 2x and succeed at the 3rd try. Asuming you get 4 Green's per day it would be 270 days aka 9 months. Even if you succeed at the 2nd try it's still 6 months.
Don't think that you had to spend 6 months in the past to craft a A/S Weapon.
The only thing i don't like here is the amount of Green's that are needed.
Lets say you want longing + R99 pve/pvp. GL then.
And that's an end game thing, you go for this when nothing else left to do.
This was meant to have players farming outside town, since gear is so easy to get nowadays, the end game is just too easy if things like these don't exist. I got 3 R99 sets by 97, had 2 at 95,, it's no wonder this endgame items are such a rare luxury.
since yer 99 with a red weapon already, I don't really sympathize. this gives you something to do, doesn't it? Those who can amass 10bil at once can afford to lose it. gz

I'm with Dreamer on this one, if NCSoft wants to put an endgame item that takes 3/4 months to farm I'm cool with that, but at least give me a 100% chance of getting it, instead of seeing all my work go *poof* because of korean random.
the only way to obtain the dark stone is by doing aden/rune tax campaign but the op forgot to mention their own clan block people from doing it. hypocrisy at is max.
I agree with Yuna because why should it be 100%? Nothing ever was on end game content. I attempted a dynasty tunic and lost all the materials I worked to get. Then I try a 10% success rate hat and get that. I mean that is how random it is.
Eventually that stuff will be easier and cheaper to obtain. That's what happens. S grade was always big money until moirai/vorpal/vesper rolled in. Now those you get from Pta free. Who knows you might even see it in the cash shop. Boss jewels have been in there or associated with a bonus and the cash shop so why not.
Even Dynasty Armor was easier to obtain during hellbound times.
And that's while HB was zonelocked by the top clans.
But anyway, it is like it is. We have to deal with or ignore that option.
Dealing with in this instance is raising enough of a stink to force the devs to change how the system operates.
Ignoring is doing nothing and carrying on, allowing the devs to think that because you are complacent that you like and want further content to also function under their Korean random system.

Well seeing the entire game is Korean and this game has always been left to chance and luck. What do you want? 100% drops, crafts, enchantments, elements, top augments etc?
I swear next you'll want to create an account,be top level with the best maxed out gear!
as some of posters before said, and I care to recall for the disguished ones here, that's a end game stuff, why the ***ing hell should it be almost for free and easy to get? c'mon, guys, are we playing the same game? do you want the pew pew stuff from NC devs, then you should work your *** out hardly to obtain it, that's it.
Really, dont please me in any way the idea of having the ones figured by @mixa (who pretty summed/answered up the OP qq) running with this powerfull option in their ++++ CC red weapons.
