+2 apo dual dagger, used giant scroll>>>> +3 apo dual dagger. Ok well didn't get lucky with the giant scroll, goodbye $25....
So now use 1 BEWR, poof back to +0...
Buy 3 regular enchants on broker, 50mil later +3 daggers again
Use second BEWR....poof back to +0
Pretty angry at this point.... so decide to use the rest of my adena to buy 3 more regular scrolls and 1 bewr.... 300mil later...... back to +0 daggers.... :mad::mad::mad:
Yea yea I know it's lowbie apo daggers and not the same as longing talisman or something... but I'm just a casual player that thought over 1 billion worth of scrolls and $25 could get my daggers to +4.....

I feel ya bro im 0/8 on my Leather Armor +4, but i got to +5 on my weapon first try and +5 on my frint after about 4 tries. Its all random no tricks, just gotta bite the bullet.
With all these adenas u could take a better weapon from AH, without the stress of enchanting failures .. or the better option imho is to take some cheap bound apocalypse (or create if u want duals) and OE with normal scrolls & then u will use a unbind scroll to make it normal(or blessed if lucky) & then a blessed scroll.And ofc at the end u put it 300 elem and u have a very powerful weapon :p
For some unknown reason NCWest keep telling lies to their players about this. They all say its always 2/3 for weapons and 1/3 for armor. It is not true.
Fortunately Innova made some tests on the rates and was able to get some information that you guys will probably find useful.

yep thats why i sold my BEWR and bought my R95 gear with them. i was able to buy unidentified weapon + seraph set, and while item checking the gaiters turned to standard. ;-) just got to really think and decide where and when to spend your money/adena. like, im so glad i bought my tw set when i did because only a few days later the prices shot up.. just luck and thought.

I wish I had the money to buy 1000 top R items and millions of EWRs to sit there and enchant to +20.... but I just don't have the resources. Few do, and that's why it's so rare...
I CAN hope to get a decent +6 or so, and hopefully someday I'll have one...
remember, even david killed the goliath who was +20 stronger than him...

As far as I know there isn't any player on Naia at the moment who has a +15 R grade weapon and hasn't spent less than 70 destruction scrolls to get it.
The most fails I know about is a blessed R95 retributer with 19 fails for +4, so gl with enchanting!
P.S. And my own blessed retributer failed 12 times to get i to +4

Yes your story sucks...i myself have failed 37 water crystals ( in a row not altogether ) on my apoca caster...say bye bye to $277,500,000, then failed 5 times going to +4 and like you...having to start at +0...and this all in one night. I was using every dirty word i could come up with...i know your pain and frustration :eek:
