Class diversification?

I have been reading up on it (Quit my soul hound after converting to Feoh wizard due to me hating the class)

Does it become a class that can melee as well? Really that was my main draw of soul hound, While some played it like a mage I enjoyed the diversity of both.

Its pretty much the same class with a new UD skill and melee paralyze and aditional pvp dmg and m crit dmg.

Feoh Soul Hound will continue to be a long range wizard, but with some close range skills, like paralysis and P.def boost.
