couple things
1. the mentee cert for shots is NOT an exploit. an exploit is doing something you should NOT be doing but doing it anyhow. the support team is aware of this bug and has said they will remove it but for now they arent doing anything about it. therefore giving us permission to do it. just because your obviously rich and money is no object or you are just too lazy to take 2 hours and get 200k FREE shots. dont say people are QQing about something that BENEFITS them.
2. CLAN REP is VERY important to clans trying to level up either you are in a clan with all the skills or levels or you are in NO clan because not being to get clan rep by running academy toons kills some clans because hunting the rep bosses you gotta HOPE you get last hit or are a botted up hero and you get clan rep. that is only way. so for you to say less QQ you obviously dont understand the importance of game mechanics for clan levels and skills so go back to your little hole please.
lastly I'd like to thank the NC soft team on current attempt to show you still care. you couldda just stopped new account creation and left the character creation alone. But banning bots too is helping some. keep it up and youll be getting somewhere.

Imagine people yesterday Saturday around 20:00 gmt+1 (prime time on Naia) from East Europe I could play on the Naia server without any delay or any lag.
So it is fact, that the Character Creation Block work very well, but the big question how the NCwest will manage the bots if they open the character creation again, right now as the Lindvior update will come the old players who stopped around the GD with their return take to Naia and Chronos enough fresh blood for a time, but maximum half year later from now will be optimal to open the character creation on both servers.

Enough with dumb statements. That's not an exploit, it's a fair trade-off. You spend 3 hours and earn a stack of shots. Alternatively, you can spend these 3 hours playing your main, collect a ton of adena from high level mobs and purchase the needed amount of shots, or just craft them in the meantime.
And Lindvior is not coming tomorrow, it's months away.

and dont exclude the persons who want to play on naia and chronos,since those 2 servers are what is left from the original big L2.
So i guess noone could claim that stoping the creation of new toons is the answer for ellimination of bots.The proffesional botters have endless accounts to use and they will be back once they see gms gone,its only the normal players that are getting affected by this.If Ncwest wants cleaner servers,they should make banhammer atleast once a week in random days and problem its solved.
I don't understand why people are complaining that shots are expensive. Every toon has the ability to crush R Grade gear. I get R Grade drops all the time from grinding and group instances. I even get drops from raids. Sell the drops, buy a cheap R Grade weapon (Fist weapons are veeeeery cheap as no one really use them), crush the into crystals, go to Giran and craft them at a craft shop. Yes, you still have to spend adena for the spirit ore or soul ore but it's cheaper in the long run than buying the shots themselves. But then again, why am I telling you table tossers this, I prefer less of you guys on my server and more stable minded ones.

can you get them for free on Chronos and Naia? No character creation means no mentee certificates for free shots. Eventually NCSoft will do away with the workaround and will have to buy from the NCStore for wieghtless shots. Last time I checked, those are not free. Craft away after your free ones go.

I get at least one R Grade drop per day and that is when I grind for 1 hour. The most I got in one day is 12. You get rewarded for putting in a honest day's work. Don't worry, when you get into higher level instances (Spez, Fortuna etc), there is always a chance of getting gear to crush or resell.
