Love how that's always the first question. It's been about 1.5 years since cap to 99. You're defocused if you can't get to 99 since then.
If you haven't noticed, the culture is log on, do dailies, log off. That's what I've done with full runes and vitality up all the time. In case this point isn't clear to you, this means I've never CP'd.
Next, if you don't know about the XP agathion, its very inefficient to use it on the dailies, minus Kartia, even then it's inefficient, so I've never had the opportunity to use one until I dinged 99 recently.
I have a clan, have had a clan and only have IG friends that I'm not THAT close with, but enjoy the company of. Other than that, again, I used party match.

ask the dude who leveled the char to 99 previous to you. This guy would tell you that leveling to 99 was kinda hard without a cp which sets him up to hard solo grind of SoS or Kamael area. Sad story
You make 1 bottle every time you take a certain ammount of xp,to do that either you need kill a boss(fortuna bosses ect),either you need high aoe full with vitality/rune stuff.On solo gring,you will just waiste the agathion for nothing.Just summon it before a boss dies or before you deliver a quest.
I dont find filling xp bottles in xp good solution to lvl sub after 86-87 unless if you cant lvl sub other way.10 bottles give 1 scroll 500m xp which is good in low lvls only.After 86+,with the same money you spent on this agathion+the vit items,you could buy only vitality items,use them on sub and gain much more % exping on sub.
its all about groups after you hit 99 as you already figured out. not much of a point to level after that anyways. a good spot until 98 is SOS, however the difference between 98 and 99 is like this:
at 98 it took me 1 large train (20-30 mobs) on the higher mobs to gain 0.02% XP. not so bad, however when i hit 99 it took me 12 trains to gain the same 0.02% XP.
after 99 the only real spot for you to hunt is in hellfire and thats groups. otherwise its all about dailies. now a little free advice to you: many dailies you can do and not cash in the bonus. do it when you are done with the XP agathion on like summon it just before i finish up dailies with solo kartia. then i run to the agent for SOS quest, GF, HF, IOS, ... and you can get 8 bottles within 2minutes. if you time it right you can combine it with an epic spezi and core group and get 10 bottles in 10-15minutes.
in next update i heard there will be additional hunting spots for higher levels, i am hoping they will include some 97+ solo hunting as well.
I was wondering where the best spot to fill bottles solo is for an ISS.
I know solo sounds like a waste, and I believe so also, but I don't have the luxury of a CP or the ability to find a viable group.

I'm going to tell you what you don't want to hear:
The only way this is really viable, especially on an ISS, is to xp with a grp in HF while you have runes and w/e other xp item you can afford to keep up. You can get 100+ bottles per hour there like that (in a good grp). If you were an archer or dagger main then Pagans would be a realistic alternative to solo, but not so much on an ISS. You'd be better off just xping the sub in a grp or even solo with the runes/vit items.
I have been playing in party match and clan groups the past couple days on my dual class. I'm more considering this for stocking up and use once I hit the higher levels 93-99 on dual class.
How did u get to lvl 99 w/out a CP and/or friends to play with?
It's funny how in this game people are afraid of everything: they fear to death, to fail, to not success on any even harder for their level range and so on. C'mon, we are talking about pixels here. It's a game, if you fail, the worse it will be hit the 'to village' and get done again.
The CP formula is a viable solution for cash and gear wise, but not a requisite to be on top in level up. Without a CP and friends to rely on, the gear achievement and advance in others than level will be very very hard past 90+, this for sure. But I even know people that never had been on any CP and still are on their way to 98 and doing great (ofc exluding those ones botting 24/7 in trio at GF spots, or duo'ing endless in SoS).
But there's a factor for this: YOU HAVE TO KNOW HOW TO PLAY AND DEDICATE TO YOUR CLASS. if you'r capable to realize, improve and apply this to the game, then you'r done with cheers.
FFS, the game is to easy to cash in xp as never been before. :rolleyes:
