put all elements on your armor, so at least 4 pieces are balanced with all 6 elements at max 120 all. 5th piece depends on if you are pve or pvp; more dark resist for pve, more holy resist for pvp; fire/water wind/earth don't matter too much but I like more wind resist because most nukers use wind no matter their race. Fire is good for orc on weapon. but imo damage up is useless SA

You just need 3x60 on each armor part at your level. 3x120 is a pvp thing, and you're wasting money if you put it in armor at your level. Apo with fire is fine. The thing with element on your weapon is that if you hunt in an area with mobs that are strongly resistant to a particular element then you don't want that on your weapon (so if mobs have high earth resist where you normally xp then don't put that on your weapon).
As a general rule, health is the best SA on an ISS, but it doesn't matter that much right now. As an ISS you should try to be in party for xp and there your dmg doesn't matter much, you're just there to buff/debuff and help heal for the most part.

If you're not 99 with OE skills and good gear, you will have a tough time in Oly. Better to build your toon for good xp until then. Once you do reach end game, it's all a matter of picking the element you think most strong people have less of. So if you think most ppl go 3 parts wind to defend against nukers, then earth could be a decent element. The way the mechanics work out though, you won't see a huge difference most times, regardless of what you pick.
Element in armor for Oly is the same thing, you go 3x120 and you pick the element you think most ppl use for 3 parts and the element you think less ppl use for the other 2 parts. You can also consider element boosts you get from your dyes, if any, and any passive resists you might have.
Again, go xp and don't spend a lot of money on gear until you're at end game because it's a waste.
