elf is the one that will stay alive the longest of all tanks, the delf has good offensive skills so to me it's really a matter of play style aka offensive vs defensive..

no worries though as I explained him my set up in a pm so he understands the differences between a DPS/Offensive Tank and Defensive Tank set up & cost involvement etc. aka the latter being much easier & cheaper to achieve ^^
having said that just cause tanks/sws are not supposed to do damage doesn't mean you can't be crazy & dedicated enough to try and be different from the herd ;)

you forgot the oe stats t-shirt which adds +2 STR and the clan castle cloak, another +2 STR :D

Sooo... from the top... no, no, I don't even know what that is, no, no/no, no aaaaaaand a no.

I got back into the game ~3,5 months ago after a 1+ year break.
In "some months" I got to 94 (yesterday) and I have seraph set waiting in the WH and got 2 sets of lower lvl legendary Con tatoos.
I don't ever expect to see an epic (not talking about Frint... I got that crap on me... my only necklace, btw.), highly OE weapon, or a +6 armor (kinda-sorta wanted to go for it with the +30% stones, but after I burned the breastplate going +5 --> +6 I figured I'll settle with +4 set).
That's unabtainable without nolife play, hordes of botts, or heavy support of a powerful clan. Since non of that ever happens, I'll stick to being just a tank.

It's obtainable over an extended period of time. For example, if it takes one month to farm the Adena for a Frintezza (400m?) It will take ten months to farm the adena for an Istinia, etc...
Everything that is available to people supported by powerful clans, hordes of bots, and no-life play is also available to casual players. Just at an added expense of time. Since I only play/grind an hour a day (sometimes more, sometimes less) I expect it will take many months to obtain that which could be obtained instantly by someone in the above listed categories.
I play a DD tank, though I'm not geared to fully realize it yet, I still enjoy improved solo hunting, and some pvp advantages over a con/def focused tank. Low level Str Tats, OE Apoc sword, Attack type Twilight, Frint, ... working on the rest.
