Pre Battle Tournament Shenanigans

FYI - our friends leaving chronos and other enemies have been signing up our known pvp'ers to bogus teams in order to disqualify them. We have been receiving emails from the NCsoft event service asking us to resolve team conflicts.

While we were proactive and got all our teams signed up asap and are not affected by this trolling others may want to make sure their signups are not rigged to fail out of the gate.

gg
Sounds like the "win at any cost" attitude nova has backfired, huh? ;)
So did they make it so that you only need to give them a toon name and server??

broseph, i was doing people a favor. None of our teams were affected because we registered asap.

The peoples clan is giving back.

Wow. That is just incredibly naive.

Na win at any cost would have involved mass petitions of this to see people banned and mass petitions of the legions of RMT bots that were in MOS/Stakatos for ages. Nova didn't do that, we just bashed noobs the old fashioned way.

Yeah, I know...

It does prove to me, however, that whoever organizes these events has never played on a live server. There should have been two questions that asked by the organizers before even implementing this event. First, how do we make it as fair as possible. And two, how will players try to exploit it.

I think they glanced at the first question and ignored the second.

NCWest should pay their employees/GMs to play the game. Look at how successful League of Legends is. Their staff actually play the game every day, and they know exactly what is OP and fix it asap. Whoever organized this event obviously never passed level 85, 90 at most, to know what constitute a good 7v7.
