Im getting close to becoming a wynn and is couger still the best pve setup or should i consentrate on reapers or even bears? Thanks for any answer in advance ;)

about "best pve summon" :
well, you can open pet windows and check they stats! you can see what p/m atk they have what crit rates and you can try they skills and you will see with one is better for 1target dps and who is better for aoe...
about weapon:
well, do you know why summoners use bow but dont attack with it? find a skill "ultimate servitor shering" and read what it do and im sure you will not ask what to use with what summons.
Depends on group or solo, where you're leveling, and your gear level. Also depends on your hardware. A Macro keyboard or Nostromo benefits the reapers greatly. No human being can spam skills as well as they can, and it significantly boosts their damage output. The Single Target Reaper nuke activates their auto attack so you never really have to press that for them.
Soloing Lower GoG there really isn't a factorable kill speed difference for me whether I use Reapers or Cougars. The Cougars obviously do better melee damage. The reaper mage damage with the gamepad is great and my summoner's personal damage output in a mage set up is significantly higher than in a Light+Bow setup - that is something a lot of summoners don't really account for (they think about the pets, and the pets only) due to much higher M.Atk, M.Crit Rate, and much lower reuse. The reapers are still good there because the gamepad spams their drain on cooldown and I have a much faster reuse on the Mark that drains HP and MP for me and the pet (nevermind switching to heal is much faster).
The only thing special I do for reapers is click off their Drum Melody (trigger for Counter Crit) and use the Summoner Melody (-30% received Crit Damage) or VoP (+20% Magic Crit Damage at the loss of 20 M.Crit Rate, Enchanted for Reduce Penalty so same Run Speed as Drum Melody Lv. 2) when soloing (depending on where I'm soloing). In GoG I'll use the Giant Buff. Somewhere like Fairy Settlement I use VoP. With Cougars, I leave Drum Melody on them.
