I should be able to afford a pendant soon. I thought I would go for a +3 CON one but I noticed that increasing CON does not increase p.def at all.
Should I choose a p.def pendant instead ?
I can't afford symbols. Oh and I play a defensive/pve tank.
CON increases your shield block/defense rate so basically any tank should have at least 90 CON just for that alone but it also increases your resistance to physical debufs.
if you think you need the 5% pdef go for that but if not going CON does makes sense on a defensive pve build tank :)

There are tanks roaming around with 105 CON.. and they want more..
Atm with CON Pendant I have 96 CON.. and I feel I have too much... :|
Yeah I believe 90 is the max amount of con you need for maximum shield defense... After that it's better to up some other stat imo.
It also contributes to hp/cp and as was mentioned, the physical debuff rate.
But it all depends what kind of build you are going for. If you want to be a serious "tank" you go all con all the way, or possibly con + men (for mdef/magical debuff resist).
If you want to do some damage, then you will adjust stats depending upon the race you are and ratio you want.
I have a con hat and a str hat I switch between. I only went for the con hat but got the STR from aden reconstruction so kept it. It certainly makes a diff but not a huge one.
I have 110 CON/105 STR or 107 CON/108STR depending on the hat.
It's a pretty good mix, but I'm not going for damage. And I can take a lot of abuse. :)
