I knew this was coming. Why? Because I have been in plenty of Spez groups where there is one jackdonkey who is in a hurry to collect all of the canonballs and fragments, and avoid crashing into someone elses party. That very same assjack gets angry when he didn't listen up when someone says "I still need one" and goes straight to the tombstone.
Besides, think of this as a timesaver. It's not tradeable, so you can't make adena off of it. Plus, you will feel better when there is only going to be 2 or 3 that needs the fragment so you farm it. To farm or to buy, it doesn't matter. The instance will get done.
While its not something that is unbalancing or w/e, its very funny to see this in the store. Also I certainly know ppl that will buy at least 10 of these packs right away, so it makes sense.
1) Not giving any advantage ingame regarding others
2) Not impacting gameplay
3) Bringing money to NCSoft
4) Destroys game's goal. Like someone said above about not feeling like farming adena.
5) On free mmos based on micro transactions 70%~ of players dont ever buy anything and this will not solve any problem. You will buy but randoms in you party wont. And you know cant always be randoms free.
6) I dont feel like playing with bots. Can I buy ban bots pack? Cause thats something way more serious then farming frags.
BTW:
Why not put somthing like: "BUY NC COIN FOR A TIP JAR SO WE CAN HIRE A GM EXCLUSIVELY FOR BANNING BOTS" ???
I bet that would rock and triple your incoming.
What you guys thing? GM sponsored by players, for players interests!
I havent spend more then 30 dollars in l2 since it became free, but I'll sure be if this shows up in store and, OFC, is effective.
The drop rate for the Memory Fragment hasn't been altered at all. Test it for yourself.
This I know and anyone else can speak to. Since you added the drop rate runes on sale in the Store. EVERY THING HAS been nerfed for drop rates. I have literally seen nothing drop from Ron except enchant armor R scrolls since. In the entire raid now one Twilight anything and some armor enchants is good. Before those runes it was comon for multiple armor parts r and r95 to drop and the duals on occasion. Istina is just as bad and so is almost every other raid. So it is not like NCwest does not have a history of selling an item and nerfing the drop rate to encourage people into using it. I am not even mad at the practice but don't deny its existance either.......

Just cause you havent seen it drop, doesnt mean it doesnt drop.

I realize the items still drop. I said they nerfed the drop rate. They are not dropping at the rate they where prior to those stones going on sale. Reading comprehension on these forums is at an all time low...
Seriously I don't get you people....If they introduce something in the NCStore that you can't get from normal gameplay you scream 'pay2win' and if they introduce something that only benefits the lazy people, but doesn't disrupt the game in any way, you scream 'lol lame useless'

I run with two 7 day drop runes on two toons in tandem. There is nothing wrong with the drop rates. I get good drops all the time, until I join a party or raid. If you read the description of the rune before you activate it, it will tell you that the rune loses it's percentage the more people in the party. So you say you and only you got a 200% rune running in a 7 man party. That rune just got cut down to 28%. Now lets take that rune that you and only you are running into an Istina raid. 14 to 21 people whacking at that boss and avoiding the death blow will get you 14% - 9% chance of getting anything good. VanDo the drop rate isn't nerfed, you are running in parties that are too cheap to buy their own runes and are glomming off of yours. That's why I run two runes in tandem, to keep that 200% going.
Also, Fortuna is a series of raidbosses inside an instance. Let me guess that you 95+ and that you now see the first raidboss as "light blue" and the bosses after it get progressively harder in "color". That usually means you are more than 3 levels above the first boss and I can only guess when you actually do get to a boss that will be within 3 levels of you. Again, I argue that the drop rate is not nerfed by NCSoft but you are leveling out of that instance and you are nerfing the drops yourself.
