For several months now I have been killing the unending stream of botters that have taken over the Sel Mahum training grounds. Now I will not get into typing a wall of text but I have found that if you kill them enough they will respond to you. I have the botters out there monitoring their bots now because when they leave them they come back to dead bots. What is interesting to me is that when one of the botters responds to me they think I am a botter too. They assume all players bot. I do not bot and can not stand anyone who does, therefore, they now have to monitor their bots.
The point of this new thread is this...... The botters are laughing at NCsoft staff. They openly admit that they are botting and plead with me to stop killing their bots. Some never say anything, they just lay on the ground dead for hours. Some have a program that automatically spawns them, auto paths them through town to the gatekeeper, ports them out to the grounds, and back to killing they go. They have no fear of bans whatsoever. I am not saying that there have been no bans, but there has not been enough bans.
Please GMs, come out and just see the Training grounds on Chronos.
I tried to deal with them late 2012, repeatedly reporting them to the GMs and getting repeated promises from the GMs that their people would look into it and the same bots were there over and over and over to the point I had to move my spotter toon from there I would get so disgusted at the lack of response.
Just give up and move on. As an 85 Dreadnaught or Overlord you can't out kill the mobs there either. The bots are awakened Iss that one-shot the mobs.
Two nights ago I spotted a perma-red character botting off the karma... yes running out into the field of agro mobs and just dying, re-spawn, run back to field and repeat. I reported this activity but I'm not sure there is any way this will ever get under control... if there wasn't this -95% Pdef/Mdef penalty I could have run out into the agro mobs myself and enjoyed some vigilante justice, but the mobs would have killed me as soon as I stepped onto the fields of green.
I just made a past through the training grounds for my daily PK session when I see one of the auto spawners running without a weapon. I followed the bot and watched as it promptly attacked a group of Mahums bare handed. I first thought it was trying to delevel then it hit me, It has lost the free S80 duals due to time expiration!! I dang near hit the floor laughing as it died. Now that is how confident the botter is. They don't even notice when the bot has no weapon! Maybe check on it once a week after it has died a few thousand times!!

Sadder is that this particular bot has slipped thru NC's cracks for at least 90 days un-noticed/un-banned? Wow.........................
