Grand Olympiad Update

Due to the changes coming in our next major update, Lindvior, the following changes will take place for the Grand Olympiad:


May Olympiad

Olympiad matches in May will not be rewarded, except for the daily quests.

You will not be able to claim your rewards for the month of May (the button will be deactivated during the whole month of June).
There will be no Heroes for the month of June.

June Olympiad

You will not be able to claim any rewards from the month of May.
Olympiad competition in June will happen normally, and new Heroes will be able to claim their Hero status on 7/1.
Olympiad rewards for the month of June can be claimed starting on 7/1, and during the whole month of July as usual.

so there will be emergency maintenance or it starts earlier than usual? as i know hero status you can take 13 or 14h gmt+2 and servers restart is 1h later :)
or i get it wrong. and there will be some shiny guys?

I never knew you could time travel, it just says no heroes for june, does not say anything about no heroes for may.

May 29th. They promised it in may and that's the last Wednesday.

So, the plan will be like this?

1 - May 1: lindvior (and I hope patch notes as well)

2 - People take their new classes on may, make tests (and I expect some GOOD event that don't put ncoins on midle of it. Four months already without any "trully free event" and kalliel was a huge fail, sorry)

3- June: people got their new classes, the emergency bugs are fixed, can't exchange classes anymore and the oly will start like old times before god client.

During May, normal oly competitions. In may 29, Lindvior (don't think will be anytime soon). No heroes in June. June competitions will bring the 30+ heroes for July.

3) Awakened characters can change their class to a new one with the help of NPC Hardin, who can be found in the Reliquary of Giants. Heroes and Stand-by Heroes cannot change class.

Ruoff have PTS and will be 3 skrolls on 30 day for test new classes on life server. So 1 mounth for test, 1 for make normal oly = 2 mounth w/o hero.
We dont have PTS, we have skrolls? And we have only 1 mounth w/o hero. So need decide before the weekend and start farm oly (if maintance in 29 may wednesday, we have only 1,5 day for test). Its not nice...

Actually, I believe they have done updates on non-maintenance days (though I could be wrong).

I can't recall any BIG updates on non-maintenance days. Plenty of emergency maintenance though.

The only case I can recall is the emergency maintenance for the raid boss buff that prevented people from logging in, which was linked to the new 2 summons setup for Wynns.

I dont see the issue with this... .they are allowing oly to cont this month(may) with no heros at the end of the month. Then a month of oly (june) and not being able to claim items with oly tokens and those that do oly in June will get hero on july 1st .... its not hard
