Way to squeeze a game for money. Free to play, but pay to win. Instead of making the gameplay better in order to make players want to invest money on a service they enjoy, it's much more simple to make an NCoin event.

Luckily there are better alternatives to NCsoft servers, specially if you are European.
At all the R99 blessed weapons for sure better than these Hero Weapons.
But it would be important, if example they would have same power as the current hero weapons, that their prices wouldn't cost more than a Full Priced fresh released video game.
If we look, at the WoW you need buy every expansion for a price of a new game. Or many pre oder new games you extra weapons, units, upgraded gears, units.
So, that the NC came up with this idea not a real problem, first of all no if it won't be a brutal over boosted weapon and its price will maximum same with a fresh released game so about 40-50$ in NCoins.
Mostly a Lineage II fan will able to buy these weapons for this price if they would like.

Running around for a few weeks with flashy gifts in which to beat down the millions of minions required to achieve .010% of your level. I am sure the mobs of Elmore and Aden are shaking with fear for the impending beat down has arrived.
Relax, nothing is as bad or ever has been as bad as the hype that proceeds a new update. The end of the world wasn't even that bad and it was reported to be EPIC... well more along the lines of CATACLYSMIC... no December 21st was rumored to be APOCALYPTIC!!
We all know how terrible that day turned out to be. My advice is to play the game now... just like before, have fun and stop posting all this BS and negativity.
First of all these items are temporary and likely aren't very special. Even if they are special it gives people the chance to play with something new. If they were amazing and permanent then I would think differently.

OH RELAX, OP!!! I remember an event in XMAS where an NPC randomly spawns while you are hunting and gave you a ticket to turn in for an overenchanted temporary Hi grade weapon to help you hunt with. These weapons, like the ones being introduced next week, are temporary and run on a timer even if you are logged out, like a rune. How is that even a game changer?
