On the increase of the passive skills and a survey of the classes, taking advantage of this morning we are in maintenance, had a little time to discuss it
First, Storm screamer is the largest M.atk nature of the game and now have more in Lindvior 20% M.Atk, and their skills will earn greater power than the other classes. The second point is sober and Archmage Soultraker really is well balanced, no claim as to unbalance the game.
Now the point where I want to get even is about Mystic Muse, why the hell only to re-use skills, these 10% of re-use that win to level 99 will lower only 1 second cooldown of skills, they may disagree with me, this is about unbalance that would like to speak for a pvp, the M.Atk is not the most important thing, but it really makes a difference when we are talking about 20% in total, one Mystic Muse could never reach the same M.Atk a Storm Screamr, even with dyes or with pendant, now imagines a Storm Screamer with Dyes, your M.Atk would be monstrous compared to the other classes. If it were possible I would like the NCSoft opened up an exchange racial, since most feoh's elves believe that they stop playing. Thanks for listening, if they disagree with any annotation please feel free.
I will tell you that
- In this version of Lindvior the Feoh Wizards are even weaker, so it does not matter really what you will pick. You will now be 1/2 hit instead of a 1hit. The difference is that if you do not get targeted first (that never happens) you will then be able to take down people faster than now. If it took you 20 hits to kill somebody, now it will be only after 10 hits.
- Necro will be the strongest Feoh until the next updates, because unlike the other Feohs the necromancers will have a reliable debuff that increases their dmg, while the rest will have slug/crusher/buster, that they will be almost never able to use, cause the skill is coded badly.
- M.att does not increase the damage done in PvP as much as p.att does. 20% is not significant, it is almost nothing. Or in high end pvp it will result in damage difference of 500-1000 in normal hit, have no clue about m.crits. But still if you are fighting a tyrr with 100k hp and 50k cp, gl with these 500-1000 damage improvements.
- Debuffs will be significantly buffed they say so, but still fear will have no use outside of a small scale pvp.
- 2nd version of Lindvior is where your chioce will matter and Feohs will start shining. There finally they will not be 1/2 hit and will survive for awhile thanks to buffed up defensive skills.
Fears will be further improved and they will not break up during hits. So Feohs will finally have a debuff! After 2 years they are getting defence and debuff! Necro and StS should be the monsters in this short living update, cause they will provide the most damage tnx to their survivability.
- Then there are other versions where necro will get fked up with a transfer-pain, something a Feoh can not utilize with at the moment due to their mobility. Transfer pain was useful when nukers were slow *** 1 hit monsters. Then you could go in and tank dps for your nuker grp, while giving targets. Now you can not do that. And if you blink or double blink you will lose your transfer pain. In this update Sorc will rise up with some good AoE skills. But that is at least after 1 year :)

I feel like Gloom is too generally useful for all Feohs to be given to only one specific type of Feoh.
Kamael's paralyze seemed like it barely lasted longer than the time it took to cast it making it almost completely useless, especially if you are laggy and it probably won't work on a lot of mobs unlike gloom which would be useful in a party type situation where you have multiple feohs.
Sorc will rise up with some good AoE skills
skills? its only one skill its the single one from lindvior and that one has a debuff added in the update after lindvior... and that is all they get.
with most new 99 content, orcland with epic xp and other areas being for single target and new hellbound being for single target too idk where aoe stands anymore. siege? i dont see hundreds of player in sieges anymore.
i think some wind, fire, and water skills back would be great!
spike has been remodeled to be a fireball if you use fire, a wind tornado if you use wind etc... same as old skills

But i mean old skills for each class, not the same skills for all type of feohs, i never liked to see all classes with same skills.
I play feoh forced to be one because had soulhound. And i can tell you 1 thing.
Soulhoud was a GOOD class. Feoh ? what the helll is that :D LOL 99 all skills and i never in my life seen so USELESS class as FEOH. 1 skill used and u go down. +10 armors ? pff piece a cake +16 bless bow u get 1 shoted. You can say there is not many +16 bows ? well 2 of them is enough to keep all feohs in field permanent DOWN. I even want to delete this stupid CHAR. spend huge amount of time and i find it absolutely useless you can decently raid with it, and you cant decently pvp with it and i was forced to be feoh thou. So honestly im Dissapointed very very much and ncsoft ..!..

I am told that their paralyze will have a low land rate. The p.def buff is very useful. Actually I would recommend anyone that plans to quit soon and plays Feoh to go for the Kamael as he will have a pretty good time with the class in comparison to the rest Feohs.

You know in a good build up you can make a huge use of that. Feohs have a big AoE power atm, it can grow even stronger (just potentially) in the future in the face of Sorcerer.
Let me suggest you this scenario. PvP grp vs grp. Shadow snare, mass devil, vortex (destruction), crusher (the aoe), mass unleash hell, mass fear, mass hellbinding. I suggest at least 1 person down and a lot of disabled ppl, just need quick hands and some crowd control thinking.
In a recent PvP with my Feoh, it is developed entirely for fear, I did shadow snare, mass fear and mass helbingind and won the fight. Got lucky with fearing the person next to me that was trying to hit me, and hellbinded 4 ppl for full time :) So there is always use of an AoE.
As a mage I doubt I will get many grps for the new land. Even with a CP, it will be an entirely a pvp zone. So anyway not many grps will have a high dps and the exp will not be awesome. Perhaps better than any group exp at the moment, but if you are forced to PvP every 10-20 minutes you should build a good PvP group to go hunt there - range DDs and 2 healers (including a Feoh maby). Bleh my head is messed up atm, I hope you understood me.
I have wrote how you can exp solo after level 96 in the Feoh section. Now with a Feoh Sorc with one additional AoE you will not require even CoC m.att buffs to get mobs killed fast in Pagans. It is just that this will not work until the 2nd update of Lindvior. Anyway one can always find a solution how to use AoE that was my entire point.
And come on on a siege when I get hated from a tank I actually love it, it gives me 2-3 seconds of free AoE spam, before I need to switch my target.

its not really the aoe i dislike, i like aoe and this character was a sorc since like 8 years ago and probably wil die like that but i dislike this concept of putting more debuffs on important attack skills. chance to debuff target with elemental destruction (a very low chance actually) so you can have a chance to use your aoe then another chance on the aoe to debuff targets. you know what will be the chnce to actually land the last debuff on targets... its like landing fear now. another reason for why i dislike debuffs on important skills is because 2 brilliant purge can happen and all that combo is gone. yeah... since that skill its the only update for sorc and you count on both debuffs, getting resisted because of brilliant purge makes you no sorc... just the mage with the same skills as now. same for necro.
The Necro will always do better single target DPS than the Storm Screamer, and not even +10 Devil's Curse will be as good as Gloom.
Additionally, please remember people actually have to level from 85 to 99. They don't just pop up as 9x whatever class they choose on whatever race they choose probably with skills they wouldn't have if they stated from scratch post-Lindvior (i.e. Arcane Power on a Kamael Nuker).
That Kamael Nuker is fairly bad, and the Soultaker is better than literally all the others from a leveling and even PvP perspecrive.
The P.Def buff on the Kamael is barely useful until you get to 95+ "at least" (cause who would waste time PvPing at any lower levels) and the para isn't all it's propped up to be.
Not sure why NCSoft had to do the dumb thing and reintroduce "PvP-centric" classes. It was a fail the first time around, and will be equally fail this time around.
I would never take a Feoh Soulhound over any other nuker, and I'd probably even consider doubleing up on some other classes (Wynn Summoners, Yul Archers, Othell Rogues) before I'd consider giving a group slot to the gimpest mage sub-type. It will be outperformed by quite a bit by the StSc and Soultaker, easily...
i beg to differ, feoh sts was still the best single target dps but couldnt test with similar race, only in the eu version next week. anyway necro suffers from the same thing, debuffs get blocked and you are just a feoh not a feoh soultaker. then sts get more matk on top of the one they get in lindvior, that is something solid not a chance to land not blocked by brilliant purge or rage or cubics or anything else. anything that depends on debuff is close to useless in pvp, unless its perfect timing and coordonation. dont forget you can take 1 anti debuff skill and another debuff removal skill as any class and race. then lets say about oly, while a necro tries to put gloom on and shoot then he get his debuffs removed twice by any class or resist debuff from iss or tyrr or cleansed by tank, healer or wynn. i dont think you guys understand what im saying.
who cares about lvling and pve when we talk about feoh. feoh is decent on field but isnt the greatest class by far at bosses yet we all get xp from dailies and such. its not like something in the next update will make our xp speed up so fast that one is so better than another. if you care only about solo pve sure go necro coz except maybe kalios, nothing resist your debuffs but wont help you get ahead from other feohs at raids because feoh is not a great dps class at bosses to begin with. if anything i think i'll just make my devil curse with additional 10% pdef reduce not mdef and make myself more useful like that.

You contradicted yourself. I'll mark it in red for you.
I don't understand your logic here. Let me explain why.
1. Stormscreamers are more debuff dependant as Soultakers. They have to worry about landing devil's curse which has a base reuse over eight times larger than gloom. They also have to worry about landing elemental destruction's debuff, which has a low land rate, to utilize their full potential of their Lindvior bonuses. The M.attk bonuses that a dark elf has over a human does not amount to much more damage. You also have to consider the amount of dark elf soultakers that will be running around.
2. Vs. a party with a tank and two healers, which is the only case where using debuffs is very difficult because of two well coordinated brilliant purges in between party celestial shields, you need debuffs to kill anything anyway and you have a small window of opportunity to land debuffs on a target and kill it. A soultaker is better off because it can spam a high land rate, low reuse skill that allows higher burst damage than devil's curse even at +10.
3. Feoh wizard's aren't the only class dependant on debuffs. Archer rely on bullseye, Summoners rely on marks, Warriors rely on one of their 3 armor destruction skills, enchanters rely on their crippling attacks, healers rely on mark of lumi, rogues and tanks rely on their immobilization skills.
From this the only advice I give is to level up and experience PvP before giving commentary on it.
who cares about lvling and pve when we talk about feoh.
Because we can't just awaken and expect to take our 85 Feohs to Olympiad or a Seige and plow people. PvE is more important than PvP because without a ton of PvE you literally can't do anything factorable in PvP. At this point you have to be 95+ at least, 97+ optimally, to have an impact on PvP since all the factors and top clans are at least at the R95 average level.
feoh is decent on field but isnt the greatest class by far at bosses yet we all get xp from dailies and such.
The people that level fastest are those that do more than "dailies" and those who level additionally faster are those who go out and get their own XP outside of a group when they are LFG or a group isn't available (or they're playing at very non-peak times).
Even in group play, the Necro will be better than the other mages, so it's not just about soloing.
Necros can still OE their Devil's curse and stack it under Curse GLoom to get the best M.Def/Attribute/P.Def/etc. debuff available. The others cannot do that.
You're almost talking as if Necros will forget to OE their skills.
Guess all of you here lose the focus, let me change the focus, NCSoft will turn able the class/race change? cause elf are really nerfed now, compare to the others, less M atk, and give much more m atk to the others classes? lol!
Everyone had a free chance to reroll to a better race when GoD launched (getting a Mentored toon to 85 being so easy and all...), so if you didn't (or rolled a bad race after GoD release) that's kinda "too bad" at this point...
Guess all of you here lose the focus, let me change the focus, NCSoft will turn able the class/race change? cause elf are really nerfed now, compare to the others, less M atk, and give much more m atk to the others classes? lol!
-NCSOFT PLEASE! Turn able race change!
M.att in small degrees is close to irrelevant as I told you before. What made Dark Elf Wizards imba is the fact that they had disperation and they could use crystal form for Hell Binding interrupts and disperation for Mass Hellbinding interrupts in class based oly.
Right now you can customize your toon with 2 race skills of your choice. Int is an important stat, however wit and having a 500 m.crit rate build seems also sweet.
So not elfs are not weaker than dark elfs. Sps will not be that much weaker than StS. 2-3 skills will not diversify the Feohs too much as you think. You will still be the weakest class out there that just fills party slots.
And lol at people commenting about casting speed in GoD, where almost every skill has an instant cast. If you are worried about interrupts, wear a class talisman.

I am not sure why you are still not used to the fact that Feohs sux. The developers never had a clue how to fix the class. And it will be a terribad class for 1 year or more, when those land rates will be fixed and you will get defensive skills that do something. It is a class that requires a lot of attention, quick reflexes, fast thinking, ability to find a good group for PvP and get fully supported. Right after that you need an insane gear and you are good to go and be decent in pvp.
Briliant purges are bad for everyone, yes for Feohs even worse, but that is it, you need to be careful when you are using your skills. For instance yesterday in a PvP we got *****, I had this small window to change the tie with some debuffs and I failed. I had a headache and I was not able to recognise briliant purge from a single target purge and ...
Just wait for your day, the 2nd update of Lindvior, when Feohs will be really strong and everyone will QQ, how they can not kill you, when they have been killing you in 1/2 shot for ages and when your debuffs will actually land and do something.
Actually Feohs are bad because of this - QQ of the terribad players that were going out to PvP with B and S grade jewels. It is like if Feohs were having a Heavy Armor mastery that did not nerf our casting speed and we would go with Robes.

You "may" get the short update where you get to spam arcane barrier and survive a few seconds longer as your MP gets blown to oblivion and you become a useless DD and an annoyance to the healer and are likely to be replaced by a sturdier DD.
Or you may end up getting the update where arcane barrier is slightly better than it is now and same result, your MP gets blown to oblivion and you become a useless DD.
It's not about feoh wizards need boosts because there's really nothing to do but to give them a temporary large boost in P.def (like soulhounds), Its more that the physical DD classes need to be toned down (which archers are gradually).
Also considering that Koreans really like to play archers and if not an archer than a wizard, you may want to hold your breath on that "hope".
Meanwhile as warriors and rogues continue to be neglected by korean players, you will over time see them kill you faster and faster with every passing update.

i think it wasnt hard to see, first part was about pvp and second part about pve so there is no contradiction.
1. we jump from sorc and necro to sts vs necro, ok then. with debuff resist sts does more damage obviously. not landing elemental destruction still grands sts more damage because necro has no buster and sts get more matk from passive. with debuff sts was doing about the same damage because you know, sts was de and necro human and sts had +10 devil curse, this is why i couldnt see with same race but im sure necro (de) will do better for now till epeisodion comes in.
2. spaming that debuff continuously will get you nowhere while someone who spam atk skills will be more useful. same reason we see in korean pvp video a necro using that debuff probably twice in 10 min
3. they are making feoh heavily dependent on debuff. an archer doesnt need any debuff to land half kill, they have minds eye they dont need more debuff, someone is hitting them... np, cc works in their favor. you dont rely on bulls eye to do heavy damage but feohs need to land debuff to use additional skills or increase their damage to decent lvl
my point is, any that depends of debuffs on target risk a lot more than those who have passive or acive buffs on them, to help them.

necro can oe skills but they will do same damage as he didnt enchant them because as you say gloom is better just not enchantable and doesnt stack with devils for better mdef. if your party consist in physical dds you are pretty much forced to spam 2 debuffs and one of them being gloom and has zero damage. sure gloom is better than devils enchanted but that one enchanted for mdef isnt that far behind either. we are not talking about having or not having gloom, that one would be a significant and big diff. so necro has a better debuff but better than what, just other feohs. when you take feoh you dont get them as primary dd for boss but for the rest of the stuff mainly that includes aoe. having a necro or a sps (from better to worse) wont make a significant difference. for dailies wont matter at all, for big raids you need just one necro. the other feoh who isnt necro will have to decide if they make both devils the same or one pdef and one mdef, depending of their cp.
you dont have to listen to me or anyone, im just saying to better put in balance everything before going necro. i for sure im not going one but i can see why many others will want to go necro. if they want better damage i suggest sts but that just my opinion and in the long run it will be better after lindvior. as maya said in a previous post, the diff between feohs is not significant for now and he got that right and yes w/o exceptional gear sucks even more. oh and i dont consider lindvior archers being nerfed, i see them better actually but have to play it right.

Soon every fighter will hit 100k dmg because of this ignorant thinking "we need to boost everything, if its not enough boost, boost more!". They alrdy cut most of the need to have range(which is ONLY useful for ganks) because of teleportations.

necro can oe skills but they will do same damage as he didnt enchant them because as you say gloom is better just not enchantable and doesnt stack with devils for better mdef. if your party consist in physical dds you are pretty much forced to spam 2 debuffs and one of them being gloom and has zero damage. sure gloom is better than devils enchanted but that one enchanted for mdef isnt that far behind either. we are not talking about having or not having gloom, that one would be a significant and big diff. so necro has a better debuff but better than what, just other feohs. when you take feoh you dont get them as primary dd for boss but for the rest of the stuff mainly that includes aoe. having a necro or a sps (from better to worse) wont make a significant difference. for dailies wont matter at all, for big raids you need just one necro. the other feoh who isnt necro will have to decide if they make both devils the same or one pdef and one mdef, depending of their cp.
you dont have to listen to me or anyone, im just saying to better put in balance everything before going necro. i for sure im not going one but i can see why many others will want to go necro. if they want better damage i suggest sts but that just my opinion and in the long run it will be better after lindvior. as maya said in a previous post, the diff between feohs is not significant for now and he got that right and yes w/o exceptional gear sucks even more. oh and i dont consider lindvior archers being nerfed, i see them better actually but have to play it right.
1. The debate was a comparison of ST vs STS so I don't understand that point. With debuff immunity, STS does a little more damage to which that little damage is healed off easily. Like the ST, the STS needs to wait for that window of opportunity to use debuffs to kill. On top of that, elemental buster has a really low land rate anyway so a majority time buster will be unavailable. And no with each class landing gloom and +10 devil's for M.def the ST will still do higher damage. The m.attk difference does not come close to 20% damage (which is the difference in damage between 40% and 50% M.def reduction) and then you also don't have the -50 attribute for ~4-5% extra damage for the ST. When Epeisodon comes in, STS will be blowing their more MP than other wizards trying to choke out some extra damage while still getting plowed while the ST will be alive during group pvp doing constant damage and debuffing without much worry.
2. You may constantly spam debuffs while brilliant purge and the like is active, but every other high end PvPer won't have this issue. Also yes please take your all your PvP skills from korean PvP because the Koreans are such great PvErs. And by the way, the Koreans use elemental buster 0 times in 10 minutes.
3. Archers do rely on debuffs, they are blessed in that they don't need their own debuff to land as long as they are working with a tyrr warrior, but Bullseye allows archers do to over double damage. That in itself is a much large dependancy over devil's curse. Even with mind's eye, not having any debuffs will not let them kill. Let me rephrase that, it will not let them kill anyone competent.

Oh you must be referring to Wizard's spirit/Arcane Power and Double Casting.
You must also be referring to Wynn's Summoner's new expand rift buff that allows them to summon 4 servitors for 60 seconds because surely they can't be at risk depending on marks.
Also this is what trensharo was mentioning.
While the STS will have Devil's Curse +10 M.def
A ST will stack Gloom with Devil's Curse +10 P.def to have that extra 10% P.def and M.def reduction while additionally have -50 on every attribute making the ST deal more damage, and every other physical and magical DPS attacking the same target have that damage benefit more than dragging along a STS who's trying, and failing, to deal as much damage as much damage as a ST can without being able to boost it's party DPS anymore than in Glory Days.
So in conclusion... have fun with your stormscreamers.

Oh look, another idiot who thinks NA players are better than Koreans at anything.
My friend not to break your bubble but feohs do not really need mp to nuke and do dps. Lose your entire mp, btb with +++ OE, 1 mental elexir and you are good to go to give ~30ish nukes with wizard spirit or double casting. If you have a summoner dual class and use a clarity talisman it is even more.
I do not have any btb enchant or summoner class specific talisman, but I can exp non stop in pagans for example without the need of a recharger. 1 Shilen Elder can rebirth in 5 mins, with two healers (1 SE) you can have 3 rebirths in 10 mins. So you may get replaced by a studier DD if your healers are terribad. I often use arcane shield even atm and die, but I instruct my healers to rebirth me. I rather kite 3 DDs for 20-30 seconds more, while the rest DDs of my party wreck them, instead of die/res 10 times per minute in a fight.
Keep in mind that it is expected the PvP to be much faster than it is now, so every second of survivability is useful.
Physical DDs and archers especially will get toned down eventually. In fact their dps is not so big, it is just that Feohs have really messed up survivability.
And you forget about crystal form, which is going to be 10 seconds now, with a short reuse too. Being able to get 2 class skills - like disperation and human's debuff skill also plays a huge role for paper classes. So yes, I would say Feohs time will come eventually and it will come with tons of QQ.

1. it was actually about am and st but whatever. anyway when epeisodion comes, necro will be... not on the same lvls as the others.
2. about the video i was referring with 10 min barely using gloom... ofc he used buster 0 times coz its a st and they have no buster... lol
3. for them debuffs will increase damage a lot but they have their own buffs and their bases damage on skills is already high. want me to show you how an lindvior archer hit an iss in heavy (no knight) for 15k+ damage with skill and no bulls eye? or a dagger or warrior who can almost do that too... show me when you can do that with a feoh with no debuff on target.
in conclusion you didnt read what i said. anyway you have fun with w/e you decided (necro?), ill have fun with something else i mentioned that its not sts nor st. iirc both Maya and Tren are still necro fans yet I think both of them still have their doubts about going one.
both Maya and Tren are still necro fans yet I think both of them still have their doubts about going one.
I got 2 problems for going necro:
- lots of geared people will go for necro and I will not stand a chance for a hero
- transfer pain instead of arcane barrier in future updates and my doubts about it working properly on a mobile Feoh.
I'm going back to Soultaker because the alternatives aren't really good enough to justify not going back to it.
The Cast Time/landrate of Buster/Buster Debuff is just not acceptable to me. Hopefully we get more info about some Epeisodion changes for them before we get Lindvior (or before 30 days after Lindvior is up :-) ) and can make final determinations/decisions.
