i have same or close problem like you, i think is about update.
i have the same problem after the last update Generic11. i think maybe the gameguard try to do something like facebook or google and spy also our hard disks and programs except the l2 window :D

update your logitech gaming software and it should work :)
G13 (and my G11) won't be working anymore in Lineage II since the L2.BIN has been removed from the taskmanager. Looks like we need to find an other way to get our macros working again :p

Well surprisingly the latest version doesnt work. My friend has got older version and it works for him.

We shouldn't have to look for anything, NCSoft should fix their malicious update which is messing up a lot of people. This update is also messing up other applications on my PC. They don't test the updates before they apply them, this is the problem.

i doubt you can play afk just on a Gxx keyboard
i use keymapped G keys because i can have more actions at my hand in case of swinging horizontally from F1 to F12.

And macro keyboard doesnt necessarily mean that we use macros. It just have way better keys layout.

For me it's illegal when it starts to interract with game. Doing the same thing stupidly with nostromo / macro is legal, doing something depending of what happens ig is illegal

One of the gms specifically adressed using a heavy item to press a key and said it was okay unless you left your pc.
Also nostromo macros do not interact with the game unless you guys know of some feature i am unaware of.

You obviously did not read the thread you yourself linked. As he said you can spam CP pots on a keyboard by just holding down the button... lol that's exactly how you would program a nostromo (although using a nostromo to do cp pots is kind of useless anyways as macros on nostromo suck imo). If you can "manually" do the same thing with a keyboard (which you can do any possible nostromo macro with a keyboard if you wish) then it's okay. You are delusional not me. HGM Spam elaborated on this a long while ago, and macros made through G1x keyboards are allowed. Not sure if NCWest has changed it's mind about Spam's thoughts though...

I've tried a G13 and didn't even plug it in because the button presses suck.
A nostromo has no way of reacting to ingame things. Also if you press a button it stops your macro

Nothing you said here was right. I use the logitech g110. It dosent react to in game stuff like hp/cp % lol.... you have to watch and press the button yourself. And the only way to stop the current macro is to hit the button or switch profiles. I use G4 for example on my feoh to constantly spam the mana regen skill when it comes up so i dont forget to use it. And even though im button mashing all my nukes it never stops.

Oh and by the way. I was at a buddys house yesterday who plays L2 and he opened the game using a certain program. All of his macro keyboards worked this way. We had a good laugh cause he plays fully legit other than his macro keyboard, yet he had to use this program just to play normal. GG
You're doin something totally wrong tho, i dont have any problem using my G13 normally. Not even after I wiped and reinstalled my win7 this weekend and got newest g13 drivers/software ... And btw using such macros as some described is not allowed. You are allowed to use this gamepad as a replace for "enter chat" clasic game+keyboard settings. But not to automate the gameplay.
Keyboard G510 + Razer Nostromo all work good.Mb you can not run the game in administrator mode?

Sorry to dissapoint you, but using this gamepads to aid your gameplay in any way which can't be reproduced by regular keyboard and mouse is forbidden and may be reason for a ban if detected. This was in some NCwest statement to this gamepads few years ago. So even automatization of certain things is not allowed.

You failed to read the post linked earlier in this thread and fail to grasp what you just said. You can recreate those macros with a mouse and keyboard and they do not react to anything other than the input you give it ie. keypresses.

And still having a gamepad macro spaming one action while you press another buttons is not how it works in the game with a normal keyboard. Since the effect of holding down the keyboard key gets interupted in the moment you press another key. Then you need to realease the shortcut button for - lets say QHP - and press it again ... . In the end you still need to pay atention to clicking theese pots ingame at normal gameplay - for example. Seting up your gamepad to spam a button on one key activating and untill you disable it is bypassing the game controll mechanics. Hope you get me now.
Then even a "you know what" might be legal since it just do actions while you are at the PC so by your definition it should be same fine as stucking something heavy on a button. :-P

IMO keypad without advanced macros still has its purpose even if it is just ergonomy. I originally bought mine with the intention of saving my wrist and fingers, gaming keypads are much more ergonomically suited than plain keyboards. I used to work as game tester at one point in my career, sounds like fun playing game all day but 8+ hours daily work and couple more hours at home took its toll. (And pay is pretty low BTW :-p ).
Don't know if there's any connection to it or not, but yesterday while playing l2 i decided to connect my headset and same moment i got some gameguard error and l2 was closed. This program is real masterpiece.

if you say that then you just dont know how to set up your n52 properly nor use it to the full potential. its not "just" a keyboard. first of all you can program timed keystrokes and combinations that are not possible in game.
example: you can create a macro that lets your summons forceattack every time and continue the attack without you having to press the force attack button again. that gives summoners a clear advantage and can not be set up this way in game.
example2: set up a macro to repeat itself. you can argue and say that you can do that in game by putting a penny to block the key but that wont work unless the macro is a one liner
example3: you can set up timed macros for example pop pot1 and 2 3x with a 0.12 seconds delay then wait 1.1 seconds ... etc
example4: you can have macroA work off and have it trigger macroB and macroB starts macroC and D and returns to macroA
example5: you can run macros with force. what that means is you can continue running the set up macro no matter if you click around on your screen, cast skills, do shouts, kill others. it will not be stopped until you tell it to stop
example6: endless repetition (often used for shouts)
those are just some examples about things that you can not do in game but are able to do wsith programable devices. i dont know why some people think that the FIRST sentence doesn't apply to their device they are using:

i understand the wishfull thinking theory about a penny on the consumables button, but that doesnt work when you are pressing other buttons at the same time to for example PVP properly. especially when you are popping 3 different consumable at the same time. also your consumable must be on the first hotbar to do so and not on the 2nd-4th... we can debate example after example but lets face another thing: you bought the device in the first place to ease up your game. if you could get the same effects by sticking pennies and with in game macros then you wouldnt have spent the $50-250 in the first place.
last but not least, i'd like to point out that back on kain they banned over half of the top PVP clan for the nostromo abuse.

and if you have 20 keyboards hooked up, it wont change anything about the fact that your in game macro gets interrupted.
