My main is Tyrr Warrior and I just dual classed to Yul Archer. I am using heavy atm since I already have it from my main and since it gives fighter stats it seems pretty good. Can an archer use heavy and not be gimped?

yes. it is not as effective as light armor since the update (well if you wear seraph it is pretty good) but at r99 you really need light for the skill patk
