Why don't they just introduce a race change ticket that is purely cosmetic. Which means if you are an elf and change to human you keep your base stats/racials. Noone will QQ if it's purely cosmetic and i'm sure lots of people will buy it.

There's really nothing to QQ about. I will not use such a service but to be fair to new players that want different stats/appearance it would be beneficial to them while also making money for nc.

guys, lineage2 it is a violent game where you need to kill mobs and players and Every race have specific abilities and base stats, Dark Elfs -high Patack/Matak; Light Elfs -High Crits, Dwarf-Craft/summon golems; etc.
What im trying to say is that you need to read and learn a lot before chosing your path to awakening in order to fit with your gameplay.

Yes a Race "appearance" stone would be wonderful. I'm sure they plan to keep adding certain benefits to each Race and if Race change with stats was available people would be switching accordingly. Which would be stupid , if people want the looks of another race and it is purely cosmetic there is nothing wrong with that and i'm positive it would sell like crazy.

More like 3-4 hours 1-68 and 1-2 hours 68-78 then kill one raid and ding 85.

I disagree.
What initially brought people to this game was the look of the characters. Once upon a time L2 looked better than any other mmorpg out there. And it wasn't close.
Further, people choose characters because of their look. It may not the first criteria, but top 3 after skills and stats.
Third, people want customization for their characters. They don't want cookie cutter. They want Warriors that look like humans but have Orc stats. They want Summoners that look like Kamaels, but summon cats. They demand variety. Spice of life-type stuff, you know? It's all the rage and has been for years now.
Lastly, because I've bought enough appearance stones to know... R grade armor is ugly. Better to use the skin of lower level armor on Immortal/Twilight than go with the stuff that looks like Andy Warhol took an acid trip and puked.
