Revelation skills fail!

just testing a bit the revelation skills in pvp... Well i guess it was a fail in one of my chars.

O e friend and i took different skills for the same class (feoh). I didn't take savage because i though: i'm a piece of paper, so i don't think that -10% p/m.def helps too much on pvp, so i took prevision and endurance, and at the moment i can say: i fail it!

Even with prevision and endurance ON i get just 2 shots by archers and daggers:rolleyes:

And haven't tested the unbind revelation skill on pvp yet, it says remove all debuffs and becomes immune for 10 seconds... But i don't know if it makes immune for all attacks or just for debuffs.

Any opinion about this?

Unbind removes all debuffs and makes you immune to debuffs for 10 seconds. If you're looking to not get damaged then dispiration and undying will is what you want to take. Both of those also provide a cleanse.
It's look like you failed at reading what exactly skill does.
I took DE 5 sec unable to target me+cleanse and ork passives, which makes me immune when almost dead. They saved my bottom quite a few times already.
Disparition + Undying Will work just fine to feoh. I took them and it often does the trick to save at "drastic" moments.

prevision is worst, magic/phys evasion? nah, and I think endurance is more suited to melee/closed-range, 'cause it seems like a short range aoe.

Maybe Savage would work decent with SH Feoh, in combo with their skill to increase Pdef greatly, but no way for any other "still papermade" ones.

Fail? Yea..by you.

Since when evasion saves you from skills? And endurance makes you less squishy?

Maybe read the skills before taking them?

it never happened to you to use a skill as a mage and see evade? pretty often on 3+ lvls above
it never happened to you to use a skill as a mage and see evade? pretty often on 3+ lvls above

So archers and daggers are mages?

2 shots by archers and daggers:rolleyes:

Prevision is great vs mages..but vs fighters? reallly?
doesnt mean you cant dodge stuff, just that their high accuracy and your low evasion as mage doesnt work out that well
well as a mage you dont dodge stuff, doesnt mean the skill is bad
i took it on a light elf dagger and its okish
It's not about the skill being bad, it's very eficient on certain situation, but one cannot expect for it work in a way that it isn't meant to work. It can't save you from daggers coz none use normal hits to hit 20k.

It can work well vs archers on MI/BR since they only use auto-attacks, but this is on bursts only(and if they see prevision on ur skills, they probably use OP pinpoint shot anyway). It works wonderful vs mages on any class.
This skill was mostly meant to avoid mage's burst and either run or catch them through the speed.
maybe to clarify it, you dont dodge physical skills as mage only normal attacks while almost everyone else can possibly dodge magic skills ... which is.. anyway the skill isnt great alone either, need the class that can take advantage of it.
