ppl keep stealing istina drops
gm and admin never think about that as "wrong" at least they didnt put or planned to put any system that stop it
ok we said u must start pt with ur own so u make sure no1 will stole u
and when we do this they come in our pt's as healer tank or whatever class and they use bot so they dont watch the movie that we watch before istina drop it things and pickup drops while we r watching movie and soe or log out
i wanna ask one question to gm's/admin is there any idea on how we can stop those ppl from stealing our drops ! ur going to put this in mind or u will still see it as " ur fool so u got stolen " cuz really we r not fools but we play fair , it's our mistake for sure to play fair
if u want big list of names i can give u some if u will do anything about it because i got stolen like 30 times till now in istina
just be very clear who will do pick up aka who is allowed to stand at the spot Istina will die and anyone else will be forcefully dragged away from that spot by the tanks and/or kicked from party when the raid is almost dead..
beyond that not much else you can do besides not raid with randoms..

First of all, do not make parties with people you do not trust, or if you are making such parties just admit that in most of the cases you are going for exp only. Secondly, consider the fact that noone is stealing your drops, because every player that enters the instance helps to kill the boss and deserves to pick the drop equally. It is simple, epic bosses are not for randoms, they should be killed by cp/clan. For example, our cp is doing istina with one pt + 7box chars and so we avoid having such problems.
keep few friends/clan members in both parties. better if 1 party is made by you and 2-3 clan members/friends. same with 2nd. and aprty loot by turn.

Good one, but more experienced scammer will drop some **** on the floor and pick it till his/her turn to be able to scam at least smth :rolleyes:

The "cure" for it is just make those instances with people u can trust, nothing else.
Ps: I know u from bartz =P carefull with s3xyelfaki in octavis, his specter bow = stolen. Funny how someone can wait kill the boss, take the drops, take the xp, "accidentally" log off for 8 hours in midle of videos and have a full moron clan supporting his thief *** saying that he was right :D
1) make your own party (with friends or clan mates), whilee a friend or clan mate make the 2nd pt (and also this only with friends or other clan mates).
2) if enough high, make istina with 1 pt (and 7 boxs), still get only friends/clan.
3) when you see in pt matching 'XX char scammer' avoid to invite him, i saw a lot of times random pts keeping invite people that scammed in the past, if he scammed 1 time he'll do again, or in the doubt simple dont invite anyway.
4) if you see pts in pt matching and you wanna join that random pt, make sure you know who are the pt leaders, if on 14 people most are clanless randoms, well, dont join.
but basic tip is: make it with clan/friends.
i do it with 1 pt (friends) and boxs and never got problems.

Dont do istina then?:-D or..find good ppl with 1+ boxes to enter 1 pty with random loot and it ends there.
1)If you're doing it with random people, never let the leader of both parties be of the same clan. If they are, it's just too easy for them to steal the drops.
2)If possible, avoid doing it with random people.
3)Check the list of what dropped from the boss and who picked what on the system chat. The other day, on Bartz, I was doing Istina with a well known clan I will not name here just because I know it will solve nothing to name them, and 2 of the drops (1 apocalypse shooter and 1 twilight helmet) simply disappeared. The system chat showed that they dropped, but it did not show who picked them, and they were not on the ground. Possible reason: someone "accidentally" picked while people were watching the movie, because the movie doesn't appear to bot users. Needless to say, I don't do anything with said clan anymore.
You will have to accept that there are thieves in the game. Unless you learn to not to raid with untagged toons, strange named toons, toons in clans lower than level 8, and toons on a list of known thieves, you will be "scammed". The reason you feel so butthurt about the whole thing is because of greed. You want profits from that drop. If you keep the drops at random, people tend to keep it honest so they will get invited back for that chance to get that good drop. Yes, I would love an epic jewel from Istina but I prefer to get it randomly, even if it takes 6 months worth of raiding to get it.
