Light Set for Wynn and a bow or 2 hand Blunt and robes for box ISS. use range pets and go to rune and port to the nest. Kill what ever bots are there with DOTS and farm away.
After Class Diversification what Wynn: Arcana Lord, Elemental Master or Spectral Master same question about iss
After Class Diversification what Wynn: Arcana Lord, Elemental Master or Spectral Master same question about iss

As far as Wynn it really don't manner they all about the same. Just different looking summons with a slight advantage in speed or P attack or some bull crap that still makes them all about the same just pick one Ponies, Cats or Demons .

however for Boxed ISS the only way 2 go is Iss Hierophant period.

If you AoE level (including solo), like most smart Wynn Summoners, then Light Armor is pretty terrible because the gains are not worth the costs.

But hey, we need to see more Wynns running around Fairy Settlement with melee pets on defend basically leashing themselves between MOBs. More power to them.

Retributers aren't a PvE weapon for Summoners. They're terrible unless your gear is uber and now that pets can go above 500 Crit (I heard) that pretty much rendered them absolutely terrible compared to a Bow or Crossbow even.

Antharas Lair is not where a Summoner should be leveling in R Grade. They should be at Harnak, and yes, killing bots may be pre-requisite, but be prepared for their enforcers to show up - depending on your server and which bots you happen to kill.

Not sure why you're even trying to give this person advice.

For a boxed Iss if it is mostly for boxed buffs for your Summoner and your clan will allow you to tag it, Dominator is the best boxed Iss Sub Type. If you need to use a boxed Iss to heal you/your pets while XPing, then you're in over your head.
Wynn pets could always go above 500, i had 538 crit rate on cougars with loyalty triger.
however for Boxed ISS the only way 2 go is Iss Hierophant period.

Why is ISS Hierophant better than the others?

I got 2 ISS that I didnt change yet... Both are for buff boxes... Made 2nd for mentee coins !

Should i get 1 Hierophant and the other BD ?

Please advices are welcome !

TY !

Reuse on BR/angels touch/heal etc.
Clarity (if you have to stand in heal can come in handy)
10% more mp for potentially 10% more heals if needed in a sticky situation.
10% more hp.

It's a fairly easy and simple choice.

I have 3 iss... 2 will be PP and one will be dominator.
For a boxed iss that you don't plan to level, but just need buffs from the Dominator is the best choice (provided you can get it tagged, otherwise Heirophant). If you plan to play the character, then Heirophant is best, IMO.
If you AoE level (including solo), like most smart Wynn Summoners, then Light Armor is pretty terrible because the gains are not worth the costs.

what cost? he's PVE not pvp... you don't need ton mp (if you talking robes) and Light has very good gains. did you read the patch notes? And I know you don't mean Heavy for PVE?

Are you even playing after the update? Summoner are not just all about the pets now....... time to compare both and learn the class after the update and you see bows are nice but not needed anymore. maybe for bots that just use they summons then yea bow is great......

Pro Summoners use Retributers now.

I never Said Antharas Lair I said NEST! which means Stakato Nest!

And your right on the Enforcers thou Just I never have a problem with them. They Know I just kill the Enforcers on my main so they don't show up they just wait till I'm done then go back 2 what they were doing.

Just don't be flag wen they show up or get some help from clans or clan mates if you can. However most of the time they all afk and will just stay dead and you can hunt for hours with no bother

Not sure why you're even trying to give this person advice.

because I know a Pro Summoner and that's what he would say.

If you decided to pvp later then a Dominator is a bad choice you don't want a box iss sitting out for free pvp so no Dominator is not the best boxed and it can't be sub. Main only. And no you don't need iss heals its just can be done.
I had a rebuttal typed that was about 1 page long but I'm deleting it because anyone who actually takes you seriously deserves to reap the results.

You have no clue what you are talking about.

And by the time you get to a level where you can PvP, get a **** group and PvP.

You can sub an Iss Dominator into another Iss Sub Type, BTW, idiot.

then why are you still responding ***?

Then stop reading my post your only wasting your time.

You can't always get a Group to PVP with and I seen a Summoner Kill dam near a whole group solo.

Idiot that not the way you word it on your post and what Idiot but you would sub another ISS

To let people know you are wrong.
To let people know you are wrong.

not wrong not every one can buy a Bow and a Mage weapon for they Summoner so it's best to get a 2 handed Magic Blunt which works well for both PVE and PVP.

He's farming Adea so that means he's not a Donator or Adena Buyer or botter.

He's trying to make money and buying a BOW is only good for people that can buy both weapons. you try to PVP another Summoner with a bow and that Summoner is using a 2 handed Magic Blunt.....

You don't even play a Wynn K-Buff

I've got 3 wynn summoners and my wyn used to be better geared than my main since I used it to plvl my original main.

Anyways for pure PvE a bow is better. If you do a combination of pve and pvp and only wanna buy one weapon then go Retri. If you have the funds get both.

Ok so now you just agreed with what I been saying. I did say bow is good for pure PVE but this a pvp game and if you want make adena their will be pvp. Like me I have the money for both but why waste adena on both that could be used on better gear like undershirt or Belt or other stuff that makes your toon stronger. So the Retri (2 handed Blunt) is better and less money to spend. after all what happens at 95+ get 2 weapons again?

For Botters and Donators yes get bow and mage weapon but most of us don't do that. So you have 2 be smart and buy 1 weapon that's good for both. Really if your playing your toon right even pve is better with mage weapon because you should be using your dam mage skills also and not just letting your pets do all the work. with a bow you cast 2 slow to be effective.

Wynn marks are OP and you should be using them for PVE as well as PVP

You just contradicted yourself. With a good setup you can have decent casting speed with a bow and near the same matk. A bow is still better for pure PVE (especially raids). 85-95 IMO use a bow.. 95+ get a retri if you plan on doing any pvp. Also most people actually play a summoner to be lazy and let their pets do most of the work and just spam marks on a mob so in that case a bow is overwhelmingly better.
You just contradicted yourself.

No I didn't look at my first posts

Light Set for Wynn and a bow or 2 hand Blunt

That was my Very FIRST POST See were I say BOW or..... 2 hand Blunt

I think Trenshero whole problem was the light set but if your going go as far as having a BOW on a summoner (and be lazy and just use pets) and not PVP why the hell not use a Light set when it's only going better your pets attack speed, critts, and P attack

and you can have decent casting speed with anything don't means it's good. However this guy don't strike me as having a good set up again were talking about a person that don't bot or donate or buy adena. HE IS FARMING ADENA!

I have a dam good setup and I don't use a bow I'm not going 2 waste money on it and I have heavy set from my main. If not for that I would be using a Light set. but not going to waste money and have 2 armors. If the Wynn was my main I would use Light in the first place and still PVP with it.
Marks are OP in Olympiad/less so in group PvP cause of the UD/Invul penetration via Crits. In PvE, AoEing - not so much. In single target PvE yes I use them. On raids when another Summoner is being lazy I use them and retrieve them with Mark of Fire and Invokes thrown in.

I only XP solo AoE. Pulling more MOBs > using Marks, except to pull. I do use Invoke and manually place my pet AoEs. I don't nostromo spam them when soloing.

Light is a bad value proposition.

Retributer is worse than than a Bow for PvE in practically all scenarios and level 8x Wynn Summoners really don't need to be worrying about PvP. Farmers have upgraded to R95 enforcers now. Mark damage ignores M.Atk. In a group as the only Summoner it's not worth it to retrieve Mark of Weakness off a MOB and risk losing more damage from the other DDs (and my pets) in party in that half-second the buff was off the MOB than I did with the retriever skill...

I see you want to feel badly like you're contributing more, but really just giving in to the game mechanics and boosting the main source of your damage in PvE is the way to go. For PvP pet damage does not scale nearly as well so Retributer is the obvious choice. Summoners have a different stat priority in PvP than in PvE. The disparity between the two game plays' stat priorities is higher than in other classes.

If you are elemental master going Retributer over bow in PvE is an even worse choice and you are destroying the scaling of the Crit Dmg buff they get.

I already said Light is okay for PvP, with a Retributer. Again, different stat priorities and different considerations. I cannot remember the last time I died to a solo or non-raid MOB on my Wynn Summoner... Other than one recent disastrous Fortuna I did.
I guess I'm thinking of me Trenshero Because even thou I'm 85 on my dual and even without enforcers I get PVP from other Wynn just trying take my spot and they are 85+ also. Yes I'm in a PVP clan but they are not war tags that are attacking me just random noobs. I guess I do have to point out I'm wearing a Dark Cloak and maybe they think I'm a Bot and trying 2 get a free Kill (you won't go red killing a Clan member with a Dark Castle).

Now you say Light is good for PVP which of course I agree but it's also very good for PVE also I don't see how Heavy or Robes (like you need more MP) would be better.
Unless I'm missing something with Heavy? And it's not more p defence for pets it's not needed in PVP. I put on my +7 BW light set (it's a set from my old server) and I never need to heal my pets and with the Turtle Buff I got more Critt rate wearing my BW Light. I use heavy thou the BW light was just a test. its was my set before I awaken. but like I said only because I already have it and it's a +6 set.
Light is good in PvP vs some classes. It is worthless against others.

Heavy is better vs Physical in PvP if it is properly attributed and enchanted. Again, worthless vs other classes.

Turtle Buff gives crit to melee pets but not to ranged pets (they are Archers and their weapon type is considered Bow by the game). It gives you crit with retri but not with bow. With retributer and Souless they still get terrible crit from the turtle buff... Maybe 3 crit or something?

Really at this point I'm not interested in discussing this any further because this information I'm giving you has been known since months before Lindvior came to our servers. The fact that you cannot buy a no grade or d grade bow from the grocer and check this for yourself and come to the same conclusions... well it just blows my mind.

Good luck.

it gives crit to your toon which you share to your Summons even the ranged ones duh...

I said I already tested it with hero weapons during the event. they cost 1 nccoin not a big deal. the fact you talk so bad about what I say and you don't even take the time 2 even read what I really said blows my mind. if your done discussing then stop posting simple as that.....

I said:

1. Turtle givea crit to you with RETRI ONLY (not with bow).

2. Turtle Does NOT give crit to Soulless.

The amount of crit you share to the Soulless from the Turtle buff is like 2 or 3 P.Critical. Sorry, but I can count on one hand the amount of time I've used a Spectral Lord while soloing as they are terrible AoE damage (actually, non-existent AoE damage). That turtle buff doesn't matter because the bow is better and you should be using that and the soulless doesn't get anything as it's considered a bow weapon type (reapers are no different, they just have magic skills instead of physical skills).

Not sure what kinda of tests you ran.

Testing with Hero Weapons even worth discussion as those weapons are fairly overtuned for an R Grade toon, especially a fresh level 85 toon. Whatever test you ran doesn't matter. The damage output of those weapons is not indicative of the gear on a fresh 85 summoner with grade-appropriate gear and artificially makes the retributer look better than it is.

I'm tired discussing it because you're acting like a complete idiot and trying to come up with some of the most idiotic retorts to easily testable (and well known) situations in game.

If you want to gimp yourself with a retributer, that's your own choice.

But stop telling people that it is as good, or god forbid, better than a Bow in PvE.

It is not. And even before anyone tried it it was easy to see it would never be because equal P.Atk with worse crit rate is always worse DPS. The damage eoutput of the summoner itself doesn't make up for that much of a drop in Pet Critical, and Marks completely ignore M.Atk - so spamming marks is not any reason to go Retributer over Bow.

Anyone can choose to be bad if they want... No one is stopping you.

Bye.

OMG IDIOT I said the Bow was better from the start (my very first post) but if you can't afford 2 weapons then the retributer was a better choice. Also it's Don't manner Idiot that they were hero weapons because I tried both the Bow and the retributer hero weapons. After all it was a test! you can still get a good idea what the difference between the 2 as long as the the same grade don't manner if I use no grade or Hero weapons you still can do the test Idiot.
spamming marks works better with acumen then no acumen.

Stop boating and play the class then maybe you see the difference.

and I thought you said bye the last post and that you were done posting yet here you are still posting.

Looking forward 2 your next post ;)
I would try a crossbow with light armor for solo pve. You will probably have the best dps.

Hmm didn't try Crossbow....wish I did now.....

That's the issue you don't get, idiot. I'm posting because you're trolling and still spewing misinformation. You're going to be on ignore after this one because I'm now convinced you are missing a chromosome.

Even if you can only afford one weapon, The bow is still better because the M.Atk loss doesn't really affect your damage output and Mark damage completely ignores it. The Bow is better, simple as that. The only time the Retributer is better is in high level PvP. You do not need a retributer to PvP random low level griefers with generally dubious gear levels.

TL;DR: Bow is better. Retributer for a PvE summoner mind as well not exist, cause it's worse enough that it really isn't an option. No one cares about lowbie griefers in low level areas. You don't need a Retributer to kill them.

What is so hard to understand about that.

For PvE, Bow is better. If you can only afford one weapon Pre-R95, the Bow is a much better investment. For PvE, Robes are better. If you can only afford one set pre-R95, Robes generally better. Robes + Bow: Best PvE setup at those levels, period. Nothing you say will change that. This is not a grey area discussion.

As for Crossbow, it's terrible because the Attack Speed transfer is terrible. 150 goes to your pet at max attack speed. The Attack speed you gain from Crossbow on pets will likely be in the low double digits and it will not make up for the P.Atk loss on the pets.

Crossbows are terrible for summoners. The Bow Weapon attack speed on a Summoner doesn't matter because you don't Auto Attack all that much (if at all, these days) anyways... Those weapons are used for the P.Critical and P.Atk, not the attack speed.

Are you seriously telling me to go play one? I have both weapon types on my Summoner. You're telling others to use a bad setup because you can't afford them... My alt summoner is almost 10 levels higher than your Dual Class. I've tried almost every place that I've been told with both setups and various buff setups. Retributer for PvE is pretty bad compared to a bow unless your gear is incredible, and an 85/86 char (or my alt) doesn't fit that description...

But continue farming in Stakato nest with your Retributer in Light Armor. No on is telling you to change. I'm just telling you to stop telling other people bad is good.
How is Robes Better? you don't even need that much MP so tell me how the hell is Robes better for PVE. Please enlighten me O wise Idiot.

and Stakato nest was only good for 85 and I made a lot money. I'm 86 now I moved to a different spot but even at 86 the money was good but XP was crap
Please, READ the thread...

If you go Light + Retributer:

You gain form the Retributer M.Atk and Casting Speed. P.Atk is slightly larger as is P.Def. You lose a ton of P.Critical for your pets. Attack Speed and Critical in Light Armor Set Bonuses aren't big enough to even be a consideration. Only single digits transfer to the pet. Low single digits in the Case of Assassin Light (and what Summoner would wear a DEX set?)

If you go Robe + Bow. You gain M.Atk and Casting Speed from the Robes. You gain basically same P.Atk from Bow, but a ton more P.Critical from it. You are only down some P.Atk and a small amount of P.Def on the pets, which is completely overpowered by the gain in Critical Rate.

In each setup, you will still end up with comparable casting speed (more with Robes if you go Recovery), but with Robe + Bow your P.Atk is comparable and your P.Critical is way factorably higher compared to Light + Retributer.

You're trying to gain M.Atk and Casting Speed to boost your Summoner skills, but you're gaining it in the WRONG place by switching out the weapon instead of the armor. Switching out the Armor allows you to still gain some of that, without nerfing your pets so severely in damage output. It's simple mathematics that a third grader would understand, but apparently it's lost upon you...

That's why it's a better setup. How you cannot understand this... It's either language barrier or a failure in reading comprehension. What I have just written in this post, I have written at least twice in the thread already. You STILL don't get it. And then you troll me wondering why I (and apparently others who have abandoned trying to reason with you in this thread) feel no need to continue feeding you.
From what your Saying even Light +Bow looks like a better setup then robes and a Bow but your so busy name calling and insulting that you can't even see that.

Please do stop posting because now it's like I'm just taking to an angry child that want's me 2 see it his way or else.
Wow, you really are mentally handicapped...

Deleted the rest. You are no longer worthy of a response :-<

Yes.

Reaper Auto attack is also Bow, BTW, which is why (pre-Lindvior) their damage went down as the target got closer to them.

And you're still wrong. But that's expected with someone who does all their Wynn PvE single targeting MOBs on a level 86 character.

Quite frankly, you aren't in a position to tell others what is good, better, or best. You simply lack the experience to do so. That is not to sound demeaning. It's just a fact.

Now that's the Best reply I seen you post to me......... it's to the point and your nice about it. I have a new respect for you now.

However I still think even with my lack of experience that Light Armor > robes no manner what weapon is used. not saying someone needs to take my advice on it but try for your selfs if you can.
I have tried it. What part of "I got rid of light because it was nearly worthless" did you not understand?

Paying that amount of adena for an armor set that gives you almost nothing but destroys your casting speed to near nothing when paired with a bow (the only PvE weapon worth using - still) is not a decent trade-off.
Trenshero, I'm dual classing Wynn and will probably be hitting 85 within a couple days and I wanted your opinion on something.

I don't have a ton of adena, most of which it looks like I'll have to spend on a bow, so I won't be able to afford a TW robe set. However my Othell has a TW light set, and my Feoh has an Immortal robe set that I could use.

Would the fact that the light set is TW make it more worthwhile to use, or will the Immortal robes do me fine until later on? I ask because both sets are bound, and I only have enough mentee coins to unbind one or the other, otherwise I would test it myself.

Thanks :D
Single Targetting: Bow + Light + Spectral Lords

AoEing: Bow + Robe + Soulless

I don't level single target, so I don't see need for light armor on my summoner. If I had both, given I only level solo via AoE, I would wear the Immortal Robes over the TW Light with a bow.

If you level where MOBs hit really hard, you may want to wear the one that has the best defensive attribute for that area. The armor serves mostly to protect the summoner in PvE, because the transfer to the pet isn't that incredible. If you aren't getting hit for incredible amounts of damage I see no reason to nerf your casting speed wearing it.

That's my personal opinion.

PvP is completely different. Damage scales differently and player damage is off the charts these days. There, you will need the P.Def from the heavier armor types, and full attribute.

Holy attribute is fairly agnostic for PvE as well. Hardly any mobs are Holy attack, so it's a good choice for leveling. That can be changed with an item easily, though...

Appreciate the help, I'll probably go this route as I prefer to AoE as well. I leveled my Sigel from 87-90.5 pretty much just solo AoE'ing in fairy settlement and was planning to do the same with my Wynn (along with Kartia/SoA/etc, which also are good for AoE).

As far as the bow goes beyond having Holy attribute is there any SA that shines above the rest? I'm still a bit unsure how stats affect your pets so apologies for my ignorance :D
New pet AOE is PATK based and robe doesnt do anything good for them. Considering invoke dmg + mana use, you wont be able to spam it, so may aswell use that extra patk from light to aoe.

And anyway, best exp for wynn is with oop ISS, 85-91 harnak 1 to 3. 91-97 nornil cave corridor, no need to aoe.

Also, the single target/aoe skills of pet dont crit, so the crit from bow is useless for that.
Looks like someone hasn't actually read the thread.

As for the thing about the AoE skills on the pets not critting, read the thread. This has already been covered and it pretty much doesn't matter if you can understand written English.

As for the Robe instead of Light. Again, read the thread. This has all be covered and it pretty much makes sense to anyone who can understand written English.

1. Retributer is good for PvP because the pets do most of their burst with skills. This is opposite from PvE where they do most of their burst from Auto Attack Crits. In PvP, the P.Critical from the weapon isn't a high priority, since those skills do not crit. The other benefits from the Retributer matter more - higher M.Atk and Casting Speed for the Summoner - chiefly.

Think in terms of stat priorities. A lot of Wynns are running to Retributers simply because they're just excited they have "another option," but for optimal PvE performance, the Bow is still really the only option. The Retributer will always be worse than it, because pets buff above PC Crit Cap - until your pet caps crit with a retributer, the bow is always better, because P.Critical is a high priority stats for Wynn in PvE and the Bow is superior there. It's that simple.

2. If you're AoEing proper in PvE, your ranged pets are on defend and you're pulling MOBs onto them continuously. They will be constantly attacking, literally, and critting MOBs. They will make a TON of kills outside of the AoE skill uses. Without the higher P.Critical and constant auto attacks, the amount of healing you have to do from the Summoner is actually a lot higher. Additionally, your kill speed per AoE pack takes a negative hit if you have a lower P.Critical Rate and try to single target MOBs down between AOEs like a clueless person.

You target their AoEs where the MOBs are most bunched and although the AoE does less damage then an auto-attack crit per-MOB, the overall damage across that area as one unit is much higher than a single crit - that's why the AoE is still used and it's why I still invoke even tho the damage is pretty laughable compared even to the weakest Feoh AoE.

3. With large AoE packs, casting speed is needed as the MOBs often do non-trivial amounts of damage to the pets, and often they will all attack the same pet. The amount of P.Atk/P.Def the pets get from Light isn't even close to being worth the amount of P.Critical they lose going from Bow to Retributer. So the cheapest way (performance-wise) to gain extra casting speed (whilst losing the least amount of kill speed) is to swap out the Light for Robes and keep the bow. Acumen and Robe Set bonus both give the same cast speed bonus (Assuming Wizard Set, more for Robe is Recovery), so COMMON SENSE says to Keep the high Crit Weapon and toss out the armor instead... Caps for emphasis.

Pretty much, if you can XP all day in Light/Bow with no risk you're probably not XPing as fast as you possibly could. Pull MORE MOBs. Chain kill faster. You will level faster.

But of course there are summoners like iSummom that sit in spots with passive MOBs single targeting all day. Why do more work for less XP gain, when you can do less work for more?

I'm feeling nice tonight, but do keep in mind this is about the 10th time that I've repeated the above information in this thread.
Antharas Lair is not where a Summoner should be leveling in R Grade. They should be at Harnak, and yes, killing bots may be pre-requisite, but be prepared for their enforcers to show up - depending on your server and which bots you happen to kill.

Looks like someone hasn't actually read the thread. I'm not repeating myself.

Harnak is terrible.

Trenshero, just go away. Wrong info + contradictions in your own post.

And bow + light, as someone else said, is best for pve. The boost from light is better than matk and cast speed, which u dont need in pve.

Only Focus SA is worth it. If you Dual SA, then get Damage as the second SA. Always Focus first.

You can also get Crit as an Augmentation. My bow has +30.x P.Critical rate, for example. Then get 40 P/M.Critical from a Sub.

What is the level ranges you gave for Harnak. You're telling people to stay at Harnak to 91. A Wynn should ditch Harnak for Fairies and go AoE and level faster at level 87, period. Harnak is terrible, the only reason you'd do those lower levels there is because you get damage penalty at 85/86 at the better areas. IMO, any area with easy passive non-social MOBs is annoying to level a Wynn at. Harnak is not better than fairy settlement and you should move there as soon as you can. Going to Harnak at 85-86 is out of necessity, not because it's some incredible spot to level at.

Nornil at 91 is beyond terrible. Have you ever tried that, or only in a bot group? That place isn't even worth considering until 93 for a solo Wynn. The dmg penalty makes it inefficient.

My posts do not contradict.

Light + Bow is best if you do not AoE and level the lazy way. I've already covered that in an earlier post. You just failed to read the thread. Gratz.

AoEing is the fastest way to level, period. You just have to have a clue of what you're doing.

Have fun healing one pet getting attacked by 10 Brutal MOBs with casting speed in the 800s. Let me know how that goes.
I did nornil 90-97 in 2 weeks @ around 4-5 hours a day. Solo wynn with oop buffer in a corridor, not a room.

Edit. And yes, AOE is faster is you are carrying a group on your back and can take elite room. If your solo wynn with oop Iss wanting max efficiency, ST is the way to go.
You don't need a group to AoE and outpace Nornil in that level range. You just weren't doing it right.

That, or you only did it with Reapers and not the Soulless/Seraphim.

And if you did those levels in 2 weeks of 4-5 hours a day, you were using XP runes. That number is worthless.
I found all your posts very interesting. Thnx for the information ppl.

I am gonna awaken soon my dual wynn and i have TW robe set from my main aeore + apo caster accumen 300 holy. I also can buy with diplomas a immortal light set. I have from a drop a bound requiem thrower.

From all what i 've read, my conclusion are thar for fast xp (i rarely pvp) is wearing robe + bow and go for AOE with the servitors (if you can find a spot to do so) :P
So, my question is if i can put focus in this bound thrower or i have to unbind this to put SA? Will this thrower will be more effective than my apo caster?

Thnx in advance.
Put Focus on it.

100k RBSPS @ 800k each is 80M Adena.

An Unid Immortal Light Set does not cost 80M Adena.

Use Diplomas for Shots, and just buy the Immortal Set Unidentified if you want it. It costs like half the value of those shots (just bought another set for my previously stripped Archer Alt, on Chronos).

Nice way to edit the post after we've been past it :D

Fastest PvE is bow + light. If your single targeting, chances are you wont need heal, thus more attack is better. And if you are solo'ing, either tab to your ISS once in a while to heal, or spend 0.5 more sec to cast balance life. Doesnt matter if you cast it 0.5 slower, ur losing half a bow shot, which is like 400 dmg vs 20k from pet. Light > Robe : ST PvE

If you are Aoe'ing with a group worth Aoe'ing with, ask the healer to heal your stupid pet, and do more dmg, which is what you are suposed to do. You dont need cast speed or matk from your robe set. And again, if really needed, cast a balance life, half a bow shot is useless vs ur pet dmg. And robe set wont bring any of ur cooldown back faster. Light > Robe : AOE PvE.

Thats it.

Robe set is good for PvP if no Yul 1 shot ur ***. but seriously, stop bringing it in PvE.
