Is anyone else feeling extremely frustrated by this new crafting system? I have no clue how to get these upgrade and downgrade recipes or what materials you need to upgrade or what u get from downgrading. L2 encyclopedia has very little information, are there any other websites with more information, maybe in korean even?

It is weird that there are no "Drop List" sites with more information about the recipes. For what i have experienced, party-related areas have greater spoil rates than solo areas, and the main spoil drops are threads (but i have some gemstone-R from spoils too).
Give it a couple months, there will be a new "pmfun"-like site to seek more information about drops. hopefully >.<

recipes they drop/spoil from NPC monsters all over aden/hellbound/gracia...
starting as low as lvl 40 NPC monster...
lvl 1 simple
lvl 2 better
lvl 3 good
lvl 4 great
lvl 5 the best (i would say this is to craft 99 armor/ weapons)
to see materials... you can either check aden reconstruction NPC ( mainly corroded mats, but higher lvl i think shows new mats) and i already see dorfs in towns with craft shop open for new mats...
not that many websites are working actually with new drop table...
Still, a recipe drop list would be awesome to have, so i can farm them xD. At least SoS GF and Spicula hasn't yielded results yet, ill try Fairy, SoA and Swampland later on.

They did upgrade the Powerwiki in the last days too a lot of contents of Epiosodion update available on it.
But yes, they didn't really update the drop list of the mobs.
Anyway yes the Terra gamers has good source to it watch the links what Sey gave you, it is useful

Ah, sorry...I thought you were referring to Powerwiki updates, not game updates.
Nevertheless, the reason it's badly updated is that on December 2012 there were numerous layoffs in NCKorea.
It'll come, give it some time to soak into the market. It sucks because they introduced an entirely new mat system and even what old players had is useless. They leveled the field on it basically so now the whole thing is reset.
