After the last update, whenever I log in the game my character is invisible and I can't move.... this keeps going for a good 5 minutes after I first log in. Is it just me or anyone else has this problem? It's becoming quite annoying....

Yes, I guess it is an issue for everybody.
When you login to game and you can't see your character, target yourself and your character will appear after you can play.
Yep takes 5 - 6 minutes to load anything now. When I port takes me like 10 minutes to find another gatekeeper unless I know the name and can target it. This is defiantly a server side issue.

This needs to be fixed ASAP. When you log in and when you use the gatekeeper you're stuck waiting for several minutes while waiting for everything to load.
this is a resource eating upgrade, even with an SSD drive an 16gb ram you have to wait long for the game to load :S while you play hd wont top loading god knows what :S
a lot of people is having the same problem, me too. it takes like 1 or 2 min to load char and about 30 secs to load npcs. and a lot of lag sice lindvior. i have a quad core, 4 gb ram, 1 gb video and internet is adsl 6 mb. i never had lag before like this
Didn't notice a big difference in loading, but can't see character for like 10-15 seconds, and when he finally appear, he doesn't wear a cloak. What is up with that?
This thing happening every time you load a character.
The informal homade solution for this is get transformed.
Mount your horse/strider/fenrir/ant/lion/pet and then dismount it to see your character moving. The problem with this is that your weapon/shield and cloak will appear after 2/3 minutes.
It's the only way to evade the 5min wating time to see my char unlaged!
well...after 9 years of play...i think i have finally had enuff of NCompetence ( yes i spelled it like that on purpose ). The glitches are endless, the emergency maintainences are /fail at best, they go to fix 1 thing and screw up 3-4 more in the process. They ought be **** glad i dont run the show over there...alot of MF's would be losing their jobs due to NCompetence. And yes i have same issue...5 mins and i cant see myself nor move

this is because this update is stupidly heavy even for a modern pc and the link to the server is horrible.
I got an ssd, I load everything almost instantly instead this game :S
