I don't really post much cuz I try to go with the flow of the game as much as I can but after this livindor downgrade,I don't find this game as fun anymore,it just became more tedious and more time consuming rather than more fun.
If the purpose of livindor was to combat bots,it actually had the opposite effect cuz its killing the players rather than bots.
By nerfing PVE it made it alot harder for all new players and anyone who is not in the lvl 90's to progress. They just created a huge brick wall for the casual players.
What this downgrade basically did was make botters the carrot for us rabbits.
Anyone selling adena through RMT will just get rich cuz they have what we need and what we cant get unless we spend the entire day in this game.
When GoD happened,this game became playable for EVERYONE, not just the lifeless and those who have alot of time to play this game. I know nerf herders hated it but this game was full of humans,not just bots.
Due to real life responsibilities i stopped playing for a while and returned to this game back at lvl 86 only to a ghost town. wth happened to everyone?
So I decided to start my subclass since its easier than the old ways,and ofcourse the only way for me to be able to have gear is by doing the steel door coins quests which is the most useless quest for gear i've ever seen.
I don't know if I'm missing something but im only getting coins from the quest givers,and the coins are not nearly enough for me to even buy me a B grade weapon when im already lvl 56.. i cant even afford the armor or jewels and to know that what i can RENT with the coins are just basic weapons with no SA on them. ouch. way to smack us in the face and push us more towards RMT from botters.
So reading all these threads about how PVE was nerfed due to botters just made me wonder, wtf am I playing this game for if the only thing I have to look towards to is a brick wall after i awaken.
I've played L2 since C3,and i was in private servers due to not having a job back then so there was no way I was going to afford this game,but also because I dont like to spend all day doing the same thing for only 1% of exp gained and GoD changed that, this game was free for everyone and even for casuals.
Now the situation is that this game isn't for casuals,anyone who works or anyone who doesn't have all the time in the world to play this game. This is why the are bots everywhere.
NcSoft prohibits us of purchasing adena with real money but WTF do they expect us to do? This downgrade nerf just pushed us to do that or spend all day on this game to try and achieve something I can get in a minute by RMT.
The nerf is not pushing me to buy Ncoins and thats what they where hoping for. Keep in mind that casual players are the first to buy stuff with our money earned just to be able to get through the grinding faster,or skipping if possible to get to the fun parts of pvp and being powerful rather than easy pvp points for someone who has it all.
If you want to get rid of bots,do the opposite of nerfs,increase the PVE and adena drop rate and quantity so that people dont look for botters to buy adena from anymore, either that or put adena on the L2store for RMT like they did with diablo 3.
Right now,bots is the easiest answer for everything,especially after the nerf,sadly my friends have left already and some of which im trying to bring into this game said that its too boring and they dont have the time anymore to spend on this game,so they go for high rate private servers.
And for those who say that if I dont like it to go to a private server,think about every new player who gets told that and actually leaves? Now ya have the same old people and more bots to play with,while more are leaving.
NcSoft,Devs and even forum GM's,start reading posts and pay attention because is us the community that are keeping this game alive by still paying for this game in many ways and forms.

Personaly I like the new way to exp/earn money in this chronicle.
AOE parties are cool now and if you got FS with you its even better.

PVE nerf ?? in what way ? on lvl 85+ your vitality is getting down much slower than before, kartia boss gives decent exp even w/o vitality... adventure guide gives you 1 hour melodies, sonatas, harmony :P

casual gameplay can bring you 90+ lvl easily (with runes or XP bottles even faster)
In old times I played on private servers and even with 5x or 15x rates the grind to 76+ lvl was harder than grind to 90+ now

I got 3 hors a day tops to play during weekdays. I spend 15k os pet sss farming in fairy to get pouches.
How do you get adena cause lvling I dont get it, not for adena dropped nor other item.

there are dimensional treasure chests (you can get attribute stones, crystals, enchants, blessed enchants)... you can enter with many characters in one time
every Friday, Saturday, Sunday - for all nobles chars there is daily olympiad quest (10 matches = 2GE + fame + tokens...) if you got only one nobless character and you do not win 5 wins in row (just participate 10 matches) u should have 6GE = 36kk ? after weekend
need more ? buy something in auction or exactly from players and sell it for more

Everything you mentioned works perfect for those who where already doing good before livindor downgrade.
I can't buy anything in the auction house becausei can't make enough adena to even be able to look at the auction house.
Anyone doing subclass can't use the path to awakening gear anymore since it already expired.
I work so I don't have 6-12 hours to play to be able to do most of the things those with time can do.
This patch is great for those who where here before livindor but not those who are coming back or starting new.
But the Fortune seeker idea might work something out somehow or atleast help me make atleast 10kk before I make it to lvl 85.
The most effective way without botting that I can think of is to play with friends if you have any that are still playing or join a clan.
Problem with the clan idea is that most clans are only recruiting lvls 95+
You just gotta be lucky enough to find a clan that's accepting anyone below those lvls and help you out.
