but recipes are impossible to get, trying for 3 weeks, my book sitting in the same 15 recipes that drop i droped the 1st day of the update.
and koreans made the same exactly spoil for every single mob in the map, looks to me like they were just lazy to put proper spoils and copied the same spoil sql info to every mob in the map:
You can't expect a new craft system to be fully operate in less than one month. Otherwise, having the recipes would be meaningless
Short story long : some craft for lvl 4 / 5 mats are 10m / each on Korean servers, when it's like 100 or 200a adena for blessed spiritshot. Guess those recipes are expensive :)
You can't expect a new craft system to be fully operate in less than one month. Otherwise, having the recipes would be meaningless
honestly for such a drastic change to an already crippled system it should have been vendor based rec's avail at any blacksmith the current setup and upcoming one makes it so the bots get rich now and the botted 99's get more cash come Epeisodion from hellbound going lvl 99 and reward system that's based on the rec's.
with the current system and the removal of Unid drops its going to gear block people to the next grade on mains and Subs

Juji, can you explain how are we supose to make the server economy now?
I got a recipe for this sort of thing out of sheer luck:
51 thread + 1 crafting solvent = 1 thin braid
And that's just for the low lvl mat.
At 11k/crafting solvent it's easier/cheaper to spoil the higher lvl braid stuf in the first place than to craft anything from lower lvl stuff. It was better before.
Or spend money in the l2 store to increase drop rates. OR bot. :(
Now I ask you this, if every new comer that comes to play retail gets the same message you just told me "Then, well, change game. " then how many new players do you think retail will have in the future?
This is what you people dont seem to understand, stop telling every new comer to play something else simply because the rates of retail are horrible.
New customers is what retail needs,not less and less every day.
More customers more money..
I would rather get $20 from 100 customers than $20 from 1 single customer.

Actually I do expect much better job from developers side. Better distributions of basic materials and key mats - not this half-hearted job of throwing threads into 99% of mobs. You can craft from D-grade maybe no-grade on - where are recipes??? You learn craft at what - lvl 10? Do you really have to spoil basic recipes at 97+ areas? And where is manor and quests with updated rewards that used to give basic mats? Eihe Koreans or NCWest totally screwed this whole update. I am disgusted that month passed and no major bugs were fixed, heaven forbid next update will be in a year.

Right, and first thing new player gets is inability to move for 2 minutes upon spawn or teleport. Providing s/he can click on NPC at all as they tend to drop under map. And first question about "how do i make money in this game" and "how do I get equipment" is left unanswered (better case, else they get redirected to adena selling sites), because Adena barely drops and crafting system ended up in horribly unfinished state overall at last revamp attempt.
Us " old players" can tolerate some stuff, but being this my first appearance here I'd run the hell offline seeing how bugged this update is. And you could tell me anything about this being just current update, this is what new players see.

You were the one complaining that Player Killers and drop rates make this game less appealing to you...
Have you considered that, being it your personal opinion, perhaps there's someone else who enjoys playing this kind of game?
Having said that, I agree the drop rates are kinda horrible. But there's nothing much you can do about it... except choosing another game, or enduring the current situation. I see that you prefer the third option: complaining about it.
Ah! the craft system... well, nothing new here. Every old player still remember how hard it was to equip yourself or build a proper gear in the past; before, almost every people just could afford his proper set for you current level with +5 levels ahead (what means you should be wearing B-grade still in your 65'ish, 'cause you were caught in the loop of farming and craft/fail). Now everyone have their set already full when they hit the desired level (wooho, dinged to 95! no worry, full seraph set stocked at wh) - I had 2 seraph sets already made while I was still in 93, lol. And it was hellish to deal with spoil - first you had to pk someone and get a Sin Eater, then you should spend infinite hours at one designed place, spoiling over and over and over... and over!
I just felt strange:
1. the way they made the recipes is a bit confusing, this history of upgrade and downgrade, plus combination is a bit over the roof for me - my mule wh is already full with too many lv1-lv4 items, omg;
2. it was an error the manor system dont being updated along with current craft/spoil system. it would be a great influx for clans getting back to this system, with improved rewards, ofc.
3. p/iss me off the lack of any type of compendium/database/powerwiki for drop/spoil from NCWest side, and we have to seek such information from suspicious/not relevant sources.
4. at least the non-grade level recipe should be put on Dwarf seller, from Blacksmith guild; then the higher ones, lv2 ahead, would be of interest for spoilers. This will at least dynamize the system a bit, since its newly born.
5. and for last, just to make sure to tell it: the drop rate for some recipes (as requiem, to be low at example) its just more insane than before. Its almost impossible with the "korean random" factor, lol.
I am personally very happy with the current craft systems. I crafted several seraph armor pieces at 1/3 of their AH prices
Starting from Zero, or using mat from your wh?
If new farmed mat, with a toon equiped with new gear/weapon and ss newly crafted or amazing+++ old weapon, gear ++ and free shot?
Or new mat bought with adena you had pre-lindvior with dwarf with 15 buy slot earn with pocaf pre-lindvior?

Everything bought from the AH + buyshop in aden.
Do you also need to know how I farm my adena, with which weapon I used and how I clean my pony but ?
Hint : my current activity to get adena is accessible to anyone as long as you have at least 5.5m to start with
I have been playing a Maestro from 2004 he just hit lvl 98 and imho the dev crew should of had an option to reset the basic mats recipes already learned because those mats are no longer dropping from the mobs. They could use the Aden reconstruction manager old mat trade in text ...ie VOP = lvl 2 of one of the new mats, Maestro holder = lvl 3. One of the reasons that I made this post is a lot of us have spent a lot of time building our recipe books and the new system made them worthless and broken.
Lv 5 materials and rare recepts drop in spots wher you can't put bots bcoz mobz 1 shot evry one
They drop rate of all items and mats .
Weapon and Armors only from RB
This is amaizing update and back to old time's of l2 what i remeber ...
Geting 1 set wos 6 month not 6 deys :)
Have fun
That awkward moment when there are already bots in the "hard" areas to hunt.
Yeah sets will take 6 months if you're casual. Anyone who runs a bot group(nova) will have it in 1/3 the time. Great job stopping the bots, you've only made botting the more obvious choice for playing.
You aren't helping yourself by telling people to go play something else, nor are you contributing anything with that.
If you're unhappy playing a game, why do you keep playing?
That's the core of the matter.
And, in a way, leaving the game forever or just for a period helps with clearing some stress. Heck, even I made it... Since L2 can get on your nerves rather easily, especially if you got a bad evening and you were on a bad mood even before logging in :o
well, some tips to people that only think about the impossible of situations:
1. Start picking up as soon the mob dies, it helps since you can get smtg worth and unexpected from this action;
2. If you r not a spoiler neither a crafter, forget about mats recipes. Sometimes farming the mats "by hand" is more worthy than relying on crafting them. My mule's wh is full with any grade of mats, cause you know, I'm greedy and I dont wanna to sell nothing to NPC rather than using that item to smtg more useful;
3. Check sites like L2wiki or L2on and see where do you can get that desired recipe/main ingredient/material, and go work for it. By work, I mean mindless grind for some hours, soon or later you will get smtg usefull too. Remember to pick what drops from mobs aswell, as they can turn in profitable deals;
4. Play the AH's gambling game. Believe, sometimes you can find smtg really, really good there (I bought a commom SSR recipe for measly 4m - when ppl normally sell it for 50m+, and now I'm able to craft it with my healer's craftbook and sell the consumable, then ++ profit for me, since the lower price for it is 185a in dorf's market);
5. As you r in leveling progress, start making a list of what drops from each mob you kill, at which rate and the respective place, if you find smtg useful. We havent a full drop list or a trusthful powerwiki to rely on, then in this start we must collect these infos and share them mouth to mouth;
6. And if you r specially greedy, start making friendly relations with some crafters. I myself have 1 or 2 in my craftlist that will set any shop for me, and for free. Well, I have choco cookies in my bag, what makes this "grap" easier :)
I'm just loggin in nowadays to play for 1h or less, either with main in dualclass or with any toon low lvl/sub, just to do any RB or daily, and by this, I got enough mats to craft:
- apo caster (got pieces and recipe by drop); apo shaper (idem); apo cutter/retributer/thrower (a lot of pieces); TW leather (main pieces, and I can pick recipe by quest anytime); a lot of lvl 2/3 items; I found a good place to farm lvl 1 mats (they drop at 1-3 with a good rate) and so on. And this is only with the few times I spend ingame lately. :)
The fact is: now you have to work for your desired armor set some levels sooner before you hit the level to use it. Less instance, more open pve. Then the newbie will log and decide: today will I do some instances and farm xp, or will I go to any open field and kill some mobs for those hours? Sure he will get something worth by a way or another, but its up to him only to decide what is more profitable.
