Who has 2.5 billion to purchase an upper armor piece R95 and then stare at 4 empty slots and 75k adena to spare? Who made up these prices? Someone smoking opium? Seriously, NC, find an answer for that. No one can gear up without RMT or using a bot to farm because your game is broken.

R95 gear is free. (Ok almost free, since a few dozens of millions doesn't mean much.)
Come to the Olympiad manager and get it from there.
Ok if you are on Chronos and have been too lazy to farm the olympiad quests, feel free to send me a message and I'll get any piece of R95/R99 armor for you; as I have enough fame/tokens even on lvl 85 alts.
Seriously, I'd love to sell the aforementioned upper R95 armor piece to you for just 2.4 billion! :D
Oh wait, since you've obviously been too lazy to do what it takes to get the gear for cheap, you don't deserve it cheap. How about 3 or 4 billion a piece, then? Just for you.
P.S. No one made up these prices, it's basic supply/demand regulation.
What worries me is the situation that will occur after next update (Epeisodion) where the armor/weapon items (among others) will be removed from Olympiad manager NPC. Unless they seriously boost drop of crafting material/reciepes, armor/weapons' price will go up even more since that channel of supply will close.
oO since l2store was introduced there is so called drop rate runes if you dont know. So basicly with this rune u have huge chances just to get full drops of R95 gear in certain areas :) Goooood luck

...unless they get removed a few months early, without warning, with another ninja patch.

Huge?
C'mon! it's again a great decision of NC.... remove everything make it harder. We can say a lot about GOD but at least the People were starting to play... now with the great updates People will stop even trying as will not afford nothing... hey wait I bet they will be able to probably buy all things by real money...
This game is going down the hill...
Let's make the thread to say no about such "changes" ... the worst thing is that even by writing this i think... who will care?

if you didnt notice, the game itself is pushing its players to RMT market since eras ago. wake up, pls

wait!seriously?
at least fame farm promoted pvp to a degree with ceremony aswell, (also one of the reasons to fill slots in OLY for matches to start easier) and theyre taking those rewards away? Are they just plain ignorants?
Just put the go**** recipes 100% at minimum. They're not bringing anyone back with this move.
Every update is a go**** race to have the best, because everyone is afraid of the nerfs of next update, farm farm farm farm! every update nerfs PVE, they stop promoting PVP, only promote PVE, because we didnt have enough of that the past years.
^ when I want to laugh ingame, I just look into AH sections. The Seraph recipes there make the job quite good. I always rofl with their price: 100 or 200m for a 60% chance recipe.
...FOR A F/C/KING 60% CHANCE RECIPE, FFS!, when we all know in reality that % chance means nothing to korean random factor. You r sure of that when at 85, you fail a skill enchant attempt with 97% chance of success, 4x in row!!!

I dunno, I put Immortal/Twilight recipes to AH pricing them at 1-2 mil each, but nobody buys them at all. Maybe it's due to the fact that nobody actually wants to craft anything?
Sadly, Aconyte is just another one of "those" guys. The original idea about post wasnt about a BP so much as about the eco of chronos/L2.
Yes RMT has ruined the game. No NCsoft cant do much about it since they have let it go on for far to long. NCsoft cant do much about anything at this point since they let ppl get away with far to much for far to long.
right now in EG a 7 man party has been playing in the same spot for almost a week now. When they get messed with a Nova comes out there. They are not live. Dont try to defend them folks, or what i am saying as it would just prove ur own support of 3rd party software. I have a toon parked and check them all the time.
Sadly, this is how ppl end up paying so much. There are some( a few that trasnfered to another server now) that ran toons there and had billions to do w/e they wanted. One of them got banned, came back and got hero.
Is that really a hero or just someone who knows how to cheat and get away with things? In the end, its about getting away with w/e u can to screw the legit players. The honesty of the game was lost the day it was released. Just look at the hero list on Chronos atm, and call me wrong.

The honesty of the world was lost the day man was placed upon the land. Reality of the virtual world is too real to be fun, we need the fairness of marbles!

Could you clarify what you meant? Who are "those guys"?

Is this the point you're trying to make? If so, then you're just another Cpt.Obvious.
Do you imply that everyone should accept the current state of things?
Do you agree with DrachaVonDrachen's useless reasonings ("life is not fair, blah blah blah live with it")?
Unlike you, I am trying to prove that it is still possible to play the game honestly and earn all your stuff legitimately.
Yes it's hard but it IS possible. Of course you will never get a +15 weapon or won't reach lvl 99 within a couple months, but at least you'll be able to feel superior looking at the weaker part of this community, those who have accepted the losers' motto: "Can't beat them, join them".
That's what makes me feel elite and superior compared to any member of the so-called "top clans", be it Renobotio or any other: I am legit, they are not; I can earn stuff on my own, they cannot. See my point?

I don't remember, but usually it's heavy boots or leather gloves. Need to get back in game first. ;)
Btw I tried to sell Immortal recipes (shoes etc.) for just 600k each.
I dunno, maybe people don't want to craft Immortal gear for sale, but has anyone tried to craft and crystallize it, just to see what it may bring?
Let's see, a couple days ago I got a Seraph ring as a drop, crystallized it on spot, and received Elcyum crystal, blessed EAR, Giants EAR, in addition to the bunch of R crystals and a couple of regular EAR.

So, get it while it's still there!
You are the one that implied that R95 gear is practically free; even if it is so now, it will be not so on the next update. Personally I got my 95 level gear from Olympiads (apart from weapon and boots), but what will happen to other players that doesn't have the needed levels until then? Not to mention the 99 level gear which will be insanley expensive to buy or craft (unless they make serious changes to material/recipe drops).

Yesterday, I bought from the AH about 10 recipes for my maestro.
Future new players aren't really screwed. In Epeisodion you can get R99 armor/weapons recipes and key mats from Hellbound NPCs. Also they will probably drop from Hellbound mobs too (which I seen in a video on youtube, are similar to the 1 hit-dead Nerva Orcs). That makes it a little bit easier to obtain R99 gear, but I have no idea about the R95, after it gets removed from the Olympiad manager. It seems to be getting even harder to acquire that gear... At first you'd get it from pre-quests... then only in Fortuna/EPoD/SoS raids... for now it's only from olympiad and craft (GL getting it from Epics).
I've made hundreds of millions with little effort via the AH. I don't even see 10b being much of a challenge. The prices are fine, after all what you are paying for has its uses.

WTB TW heavy parts for tank sub :D
Seriously, crafting is not hard, but you need to have some capital for start, which many newbies don't have. And if you fail 60% craft that it's just frustrating if you do not have disaster recovery plan. It used to be harder though, now you at least get shadow or event gear.
tbh I don't see in the whole Lindvior Patch Notes a notice about removing enchant armor and blessed enchant armor r from oly rewards. Till I needed to get some superior Giant Codexes I noticed they are gone :) gg
So beware, armors and weaponz can dissapear too without warn and you can kiss your collected fame in da azz :p

As a new playere of 93 - when i enter the oly in my R90 gear, im going to be up against 99 fully eq so chances are i will loose, and ofc i can only enter so many matches which my points will allow me.
will i still get the items needed to be able to buy R95, and how many items do i get, just trying to work out how long it will take in order to get R95 ha
with 15 matches done per month (you will achieve this easily) even if you lose all, you will get around 30k tokens.
Than you will need fame and some adena.
Wow cheers mate, really good information there!!
nice to see we get fame too.
Oly has changed since the old days i played where you could play each day, so thats good :) i will try this week and see how well my tyrr does :)
cheers again matey

It took me 4 months to obtain enough fame/tokens to get 2 sets of R95 armor and 2 R95 weapons. Until lvl 95 I stayed in Moirai armor (lowest S80), as I invested everything in weapon (300 attribute is a must for a damage dealer).
I did Oly quests every day with 5 characters: 3 of them were around lvl 90, with decent chances to win enough matches to keep doing it on the next day, and the other two were just to aid as much as possible.
In total it was 500-700 matches every month (15 matches per month won't get you much fame, in any meaning :p).
By the way, even on a low lvl toon, you can still win a few matches because when you are low on points, you often get to fight other low-pointers, and they often remain afk after signing in... so it's free points basically.
And when you are facing someone 5+ levels higher and better equipped, you need both skill and luck to achieve victory. And lots of self-confidence ;)
Having said that, I'd suggest you to spend some time leveling a couple more characters and making them noblesse: it is not hard to accomplish with the current xp rates and daily quests/instances, and it will pay back later with extra tokens and fame.
They will be screwed, unless they do something extraordinary (like raiding and farming as much as possible). That's the new reality brought to us by Lindvior.

Good thinking mate, i didnt think about using other chars, i have a 94 yul aswell noble, but not soo good eq, didnt think about having one char to get boots etc the other gloves.
but i doublt ill do 500 - 700 matches as weekends are my busy time.
Pardon my English. I understand that the player who created the thread is saying. Everything in the game is expensive, especially in Shilen server, all inflated up. Even when placed in the Unbid Scroll Mentor Guid, thinking that would solve anything, not solved. Because it did not lower the price, now get a mentee by example is complicated, so today I looking for I do not think, or I created another char and upo and forget my main stay in this for life. And the biggest problem is the use of Bots and who enjoys these bots are usually the major clans, which are usually the most selling items in the bill action house. Why do I say this, because the Bots allow certain players can collect a huge amount of adena and items and thus make a lot of money, the amount of items that fall past had just balancing things.
But that's not what's happening. Do not fall any more, it is rare, and honestly, sell for Ncoins scrolls to increase the drops I think this encourages further use of Bots. What NCsfot have to do is stop the bots, it is unable to do so, to whom in some way or another, players who do not use can access more practical things, I think increasing the drops of items and there offers several of them, forcing prices in Aden, even stop buying house in action, will never lower the price because the player who's selling, know that items are needed and who wants to evolve, and will need them ready. I particularly think that everything was extremely expensive, because they want to encourage the use of dwarves to crafting, but for crafting needs an inordinate amount of items. In my opinion, the mentor should have Guid prices to acquire Unbid Scrol halved, or a very affordable price.
Kill the bots and ready, solves everything, because most of the players belong Bots large clans, and they that regulate prices, has as a player or players that median not use Bot compete with them, because everything is expensive extreamente in Lineage 2, the price charged for the items in Aden, everything is very high ... And yes it discourages other players, especially those who play fair without the use of Bot.

unbind scroll was design to bring economic back, so ppl that have invested on blessed and std stuff could sell it, or do u really thought that we are going to spend 6b on blessed stuff to sell if for free on the next update?
the move with bound stuff, was made to get private 5000x into the officials, nothing more like that, now they are just putting the game back on the true path.

yeah they did the change now so the private 50000x to go back to private... great strategy
