About brazilian lag yesterday, I think all latin america got the same problem, are related to datacenter located in IP Address "67.16.147.142". After pass this server, the latency come from 160ms to 340ms.
Solution: find other route.
Try use battleping / wtfast and use Florida servers to play the game.
I will have to stop playing. I lost 2 days of nevit. I couldnt even move and I am not eht eonly one, almost all Argentina got the same issue and I say almost because I do not know every argentinian guy playing but all the people from my country thet I spoke got the same issue.
I contacted support weeks ago senting a trace and asked me for more data.
The should trace routes from servers to any argentinian o brazilian IP address ans there they got their report.

Same thing happening here! I tought it was only with south america ppl. Good to know there are more ppl having the same **** problem.
What iSP do you guys use? Because clannie is complaining abou occasional lags, yesterday as well as 2weeks ago. He has DSL belonging to Telefonica group, in central Europe.

Same here (Chile). Playing with no proxy (WTFast or Battleping) is near impossible.
I experienced this same amount of lag only during the Teresi event back in 2011...
EDIT: Clarification--I have never had had lag before last 3-4 days.

If it were a little lag as usual it could be still managed as I usually do but it comes to a point that it's simply unbearable. Game goes frozen, and after few mins it crashes. It's not hard to play, it's practically impossible to do anything.
Yesterday I screwed Spicula and Octavis raids, (worse lag ever, frozen whole time) and today I really sorry and apologized several times for the biggest mess I did in epic POD , being ressed by 6 times! (I am the healer....)
It looked like if I were blind playing with gloves.
I feel really bad for my party mates who were there doing their best ressing me as well as ISS healing (when I was deserving to be kicked out with no doubts).
BattlePing , Leatrix latency, and another third program for get ping reduced, all the three don't work for get things a little bit better. (It makes no difference )

Exactly, that's when I'm doing most of the stuff, but during the day its impossible.
I just ran a tcp ping to the Shilen's server ip address (at port 7777) and I get like 25% of package loss (which is a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE number), and around 300-310 ping average. A traceroute says there are 18 hops from my pc to the server.
it's avaible to play just on middle of night... like 00:00am to 10:00am of USA time!

I have opened a help ticket to support team, as well as sent the files they do ask when using Game Advisor program (issue report that checks and gathers internet connection and game client state).
I don't know if this will be of help but it's about time someone lets them know what's going on.

i have the same issue but i log in in aion online and i dont have any problem to play and its without lag for me so i guess this a problem from lineage 2 servers

e nao, o problema nao eh no meu provedor, o problema eh justamente a conexao com o server do l2.
sem falar que seria meio incoerente eu conseguir quase jogar de madrugada e ser impossivel jogar durante o dia.

pelo amor de deus de for pra ta postando merda e dizer coisa sem sentido é melhor nem posta .... tenta da uma dica ou outra coisa ... mas isso não tem nada aver ... porque jogo l2 official há 1 ano e meio e nunca tive este lag ... uso routeador ... uso velox 15mb e sempre foi tranquilo a conexão ... ENTÃO FOI ALGO QUE A STAFF FEZ HÁ 6 DIAS ATRÁS!! peço que o mesmo reveja e tente ajeitar isto pois está tornando o L2 injogável ou tente descobrir o que foi feito nesses dias e conserte isso!!
pessoal postem como é suas conexões ... se usam routeador ou swit e qual a banda larga que vocês usam ... talvez possamos descobrir uma solução ... pois meu vizinho não está lag ... ele não usa routeador e usa outra banda larga .... a GVT .... alguém usa GVT e está com lag? talvez tenha afetado somente alguns jogadores ... não sei ao certo... não entendo muito de informática ...

how to post their personal connections ... they use home Router or swit and what broadband you use ... maybe we can find a solution ... because my neighbor is not lag ... it does not use home Router uses and other broadband .... GVT .... someone uses GVT and is lag? may have only affected some players ... not sure ... do not know much about computers ...

I live in Brazil too and I'm having not trouble to play the game, even with 3 accounts logged at some moments (boxing for istina, i.e). The only issue its freaking me up is the delay to load NPC/characters in major towns (like aden/goddard/arcan city/giran). But I've had party with some people (spanish) wich were all messed up with sudden crashes and lags - smtg about to 5-7s between an action and other. really terribad.

I feel really sorry for you. Lag is the only thing a healer player cant bear. For the reputation's sake, its not even worth leaving the town or enganing any instance/grind 'till this issue is cleared up. :o
I've already posted this in another thread about lag. I'm doing this because i was also having a lot of problems with lag, and i'm not in South America, so i' reposting this again to see if it solves the problem to anyone:
I suspect that most lag problems reported here are beeing caused by Pando Media Boster.
In my case Pando was opening 100+ conection ports causing my internet connection to crumble.
Go to command line and write netstat -b
If you see [PMB.exe] with lots of ports open (or pinged) uninstall Pando and in NCSoft launcher > lineage 2 > properties and disable pando.
also observe if you have any other suspicious applications opening undesirable ports.
i can translate this to Portuguese if any "Brasileiro" needs it...

a mais ou menos 7 dias várias empresas de telecomunicações estão com problemas de fibras marinhas no Pacifico, por isso alguns tem lag outros não, se o IP que vc está utilizando é de um bloco que utiliza esse "path" caminho por isso vc está com lag, pode ser que 2 pessoas que utilizem o mesmo provedor 1 tenha lag a outra não.
Infelizmente temos que aguardar.:(

Battleping is crackeable.
O problema não é a NC é sua operadora de telefonia.
Eu uso battleping só pra siege, no dia a dia não uso e não tenho lag.

Não é que de madrugada tua operadora resolve trabalhar. As pessoas resolvem dormir e o trá***o diminui, com isso o teu acesso a maior largura de banda aumenta.
Como o cara falou ali em cima, problema nos cabos. O que as operadoras de telefonia fazem é alugar o cabo da operadora vizinha pra manter o serviço. Vamos supor que eles tenham um cabo que ande a 2000GB/s. O cabo deu problema, daí a Speed liga pra Net e diz, quero alugar 200GB/s (os 10% que eles são obrigados a manter pela lei do Brazil). Então onde antes 5.000.000 pessoas navegavam a até 2000GB/s e cada pessoa tinha acesso a 400Kb (2.000/5.000.000) agora estão disponíveis 4Kb/s(200/5.000.000) aí se explica o lag. Agora quando as pessoas dormem, vc tem lá seu 1/5 de usuários usando a banda, por isso vc tem 1.000.000 consumindo internet o que deve dar lá seus 20Kb/s, o que já é suficiente pra seu joguinho.

On aion NA i read topics with same problem, people from south america have huge lag/ping ever since the 4.0 version got launched there, which seems to go with the same time people on L2na start to get lags.
I alrdy had such lags for many months, some players from my area complaining(but issue was never solved), now it's hiting these guys, yea....welcome to the club.

tambem utilizo dhcp e nada ainda, soh lag, eu vou perder meu tempo rodando o gameadvisor desses ******ado na nc pra no final os cara falar que o problema eh meu, e eu sei que nao eh, e mesmo que seja mesmo um cabo arrebentado na porra do mar, DESDE QUANDO ISSO SERIA PROBLEMA MEU?
