The pack is a decent idea except the fact you essentially instituted a monthly fee to get something that we had before. It's one thing to offer perks, it's another to charge people to essentially play the game they had been playing.

Same here, no code, no confirmation email from either NCSoft or Paypal about the purchase even though the NC account page said it has been charged (doesn't appear under billing either).

Some of my friends are having the same problem, some using CC others using paypal. One used CC, waited a while still didn't go through so he used paypal and it worked (I'm using paypal and not working), I wouldn't try this though as you might end up with 2 subscriptions lol

to all of you *****ing. The game is still 100% free to play. you have a choice to play. I have played lineage for a very long time and believe me back in c4 and c5 gear was far harder to come by than it is even now after this "nerf" you are all *****ing about. When goddess of destruction came out, no even before that, getting gear was laughably easy! What it seems like to me is you all want EVERYTHING to be spoon fed to you like those idiots in WoW and Tera. Lineage 2 was always supposed to be a community based game where you actually had to interact with others beyond just running a dungeon or instance in order to obtain gear and this was absolutely destroyed when GoD went live. So now that the put it back slightly to where you have to work together to obtain things it is all of a sudden the end of the world? I and my group of friends have yet to have trouble obtaining equipment because we help each other and don't waste anything. Sure we are not as geared as some people (you know who i am talking about) but in it's current state all the game requires is a slight bit of patience. Grow up and stop asking for a child's game.

However, that person with the Rune must get the last hit in order for everyone to receive double the amount.
For item drops/spoils, they work exactly the same as the regular drop rate runes (they also stack with your Prestige Rune).

What's worse is that this new "pay2play" is still a lot worse than what the game used to be when it was truly p2p... now it has lots of lag, bots, bugs.

Well let's say a guy has 5 bot trains with 7 charrs in them. To really have some use for them, he'll have to pay 1200 NC coins for each of the bots totaling 42000 coins. This will considerably higher his adena prize, and the spams won't be "205kk for just $8.49!!! LOL ROTFL LMAO etc ... " so in the RMT market the adena value will tripple, quadripple or even get 10 times the price (like it was at the launch of the GoD). So there still will be some ppl who will buy adena, but cinsidarably less. Most ppl will preffer to pay 1200 coins and farm the adena themselves, but that will put them in direct conflict with the bots. So there will be a hell of a massacre of bots, and theis i better for everybody.
It looks good but when you read what you get you realise you don't need to pay for this stuff. If I want useful stuff I'll use the galleria/shop. I'm not setting up another monthly bill either. I prefer the prize wheel tbh at least that's fun when you lose LOL!

You do know there was a time where people were paying for 9 character trains, right? This isn't going to raise the cost of Adena. I would venture a guess that the first 30-60 days of this package will be closely monitored to see what type of rewards individuals are actually receiving from the cubic, and the returns on spoil and Adena. I'm going to guess that if it's less than impressive, botters/farmers aren't going to invest resources into this package.
Also, I think a lot of people are overvaluing the impact the 100% bonus rune is going to give. The Vitality pots are essentially useless unless paired with a Birthday Pot, and or some other Vitality potion (++ NcCoin). Outside of the Cubic, this package is really not all that special, and depending on the Cubic's returns, even that might be useless.
I still stand by my point that I think it's just sad that NcSoft keeps taking away, disrupting or hampering Gameplay features, and then finding ways to make $$ out of it later on. Wonder when a "More than 3 Accounts for X amount of NcCoin" is going to come. I'm willing to wager than within the next 12 months, you will have certain XP spots only available to Paid players. Just sad really.

If mob give let's say 1000 adena normally, and the person who hits it last has rune on them, the mob will now drop 2000 adena, regardless of whether someone else has Rune in party or not. Coincidently, if the last person to hit DOES NOT have a Rune, then no extra adena, meaning if lets say 6 other people had a Rune in your group, and the person who got the last hit didn't, no extra monies!
Vali, or Juji, what is the reason, that items from L2 Store or L2 Galleria aren't in-game tradable?
Let's say I'm player with some $ to spend for game. Let's say I need buy some shiny +9 weapon for some (let's say) 12 Ba. Then I need fast obtain those adena.
What is my option now? Pay $ to RMT and obtain Adena from them. It's not legal according to EULA, it's loss for NC West and it supports RMTs and many botters, so in the end it poisons gameplay itself.
Why can't I simply buy this Prestige pack and sell stuff from it in in-game auction for adena to players who simply can't afford pay $ for it, but have in-game adena?
I would be OK with my adena, NC West would be OK with my $ in their pocket, RMTs would not be OK with lacking their business, therefore botters would not be OK.
So what is the reason? I'm asking because I saw my friend in above situation, who was literally "forced" to pay RMT for adena to buy some OE equip.

I thought to be able to sell items like that cubic itself, vitality pots, rune.... Div.prot. elixirs are tradabe already. How is it about items from cubic - i don't know.
But I thought about it like about principle - to make all l2 Store / l2 Galleria items in-game tradable (sell-able) to palyer who have in-game adena but aren't willing to spend real money.
I mean, why should be some items available only to part of community? Let these "exclusive" items to be available for everyone, with only one basic condition: somebody at the beginning MUST pay for it to NC West. That's simple ;-)

Nerva Orc Merchant is set to drop standard amount of adena like any other mob. This adena are multiplied by rune. But there is additional adena drop from this mob consisting of 10 packages of adena. Each package = exactly 1 Ma. These
packages obviously aren't matter of rune's multiplicator.

The drop is based on whoever get's the last hit on the mob, and ONLY that person; It's not based on the collective rune's of the party.

Not really; It depends on what you value from this package (Adena Increase, Cubic, Drop Increase). What I said is accurate, so if your parties DD's don't have the Rune, then you won't be getting the Adena bonus, period.
- The Erupting Vitality buffs are kind of pointless because most people (Unless they have Birthday Pots) can't make a full vitality bar last an hour to begin with, Unless you want to spend even more NcCoin!
- The Divine Protection Elixer is useless for the most part for a lot of players; The ones who benefit the most from those are PvPer's, and People doing raids. Just stick with the ones you get from Dimensional Sieges (If your lucky enough to be on a server who has Top clans not afraid to participate in it). It's free, and you get it daily.
- The cubic sounds like a Novel idea, but I will be tracking the results from a few of my friends as well as mine, so after about 1 month I'll have +/- 400 cubic results, which will indicate if the cubic is ultimately worth it. If it's not, that pretty much kills off at least 1/2 of the market of people who bought it, and or plan on buying it.
- The Prestige Rune sounds great and all, but when you realize that it almost requires a full party of people who have the Rune to even take full advantage of the drop/spoil/adena increases, is it really worth it? Sure,since each player inside a party gets like 5k per mob(and no drops),with 10k(prestige) per mob for 4h maximum a legit xp party can stay on,we are going to become rich!
There's a test from juji on teza raid,you see there the ammount of adena and items raid drops has been in maximum rate(almost),such rune could be good for people who farm all raids raising significally the drops of trasken/tauti rings,anth/valak bottles ect.
Whatever you write for rmt people,forget it.Rmt exists when there are players to buy adena.Rmt can have 100 partys 24/x7 hiting mobs without shots,they still produce adena and drops if there are players who ask to buy.And majority of a server's community buys adena,when its affordable and makes a difference in their gaming.

-99lvl toon spends 100 euro on ebay today,he gets some adena to do what?have them for shots,since to make the 99 items he needs like 100 billionz adena and luck.

I value these 2 cents, I did contemplate buying it for a month to see how I like it seeing I might have some time to use it. However like you said in many good points thus resulting in that you are right that the package isn't really anything special. Try it once is how this will go for a lot of people.
As for the bots I doubt they would sink in that kind of money just to double the adena drops. This would take away much of the profits. To ensure that they got the double adena all the damage dealers in the party would need the package, that could be at least 6 players excluding the healer.
Maybe people are reading into this and make some wild assumptions about it. You aren't forced to buy it either, it's just there if you want that extra boost. It's not meant to make the game unfair to others,it's there to make profits to keep the servers open. If L2 didn't make money then the servers would be shut down, I admit this. I dislike a lot of things going on right now and the things I see,but I don't have to play it either. No one is forcing you to sit and play or buy anything.

FYI if I don't get some more valuable stuff from cube, I will not be renewing the pack; so far only things of value is 2 giants energy. well I guess you can sell the divine crystal thing, but all of it not worth $15, soz
Only other things worth using are xp bonus pots for use with burning bday buff or along with a vit maintain pot; drop rune = L O L esp. for healer, I don't get last hit. maybe worth for spoiler but that's it. Rest of the stuff = MEH
400 coin = $5, is the bonus you get if you renew again. but that will cost you $15. will not be renewing, $15 is better spent on other things coin can buy.
To be honest I was hoping for the better results but this does not look overly optimistic. I am healer too so that drop rune is kind of useless for me.
I tried the pack,im getting same like other people here,but my biggest dissapointment are the vitality potions.
If you look on the event advertisement,they are blue,exactly like the bday pots and description says +100% on current vit 1h,but when you have them on invetory they are red,they have 1 hour reuse(which will make you loose the vit and have to buy more vit pots),if you use them without mainting potions players say your vit goes down much faster,all these make those pots only a trouble to use,any xp item is better than this.
Well, I gave this a try, but just deleted my subscription to the Prestige Pack.
1...all I ever seem to get is energy of destruction which is useless to me, cant sell them
2...I like the idea of the rune of 100% drop increase, but this is also
useless to me since I want to play all 7 toons on my account

& the rune cant be sent to my other toons on that account via the Dim. Merchant.
I guess this pack would be ok if you only wanted to play just 1 toon.
After 2 Prestige packs I have decided to cancel my subscription, this was a joke and certainly a waste of my money. I don't blame NCsoft cause I should have known better but I didn't think it would be this worthless but seriously NC you could have done better....I mean all I ever got EVERYDAY was 2x Energy of Destruction and twice I got pack of elixir. And the drop rate increase was hardly noticeable, the only thing decent was the vit. Anyways, enough venting, just hope'n someone in the NCsoft circus is taking notes!
