They dont care what we want, East and West are 100% different and we will have to get used to play like east wants.... hope they do something cool not something like play like a china slave for 12 adenas per day.
As far as i understood...they want to bring back the old L2....it's fine , about awakening , they don't need to "down-grade" everything , they just need to re-sent the class to their old way , like they did with Lindvior but just going more into the details , giving back to the class their original skills :)
Also , increasing the open-field zones will be fine for some PvP or extra-xp (atm at lvl 91 with dualclass , if i want to solo i can go to fairy settlment...but is like 95% covered with 24/7 bots and it's impossible to even find 1 lil corner for relax a bit x__x)
Here ppl like 35 accounts bots for farming full gears and hit 10k +++ in pvp :p
Here 95% dont go to olly,coc,pvp because all top players are boters,here play for pve or exit game.
Are impossible balance pvp now without wipe,have much people overpower.

Just we have to put into account that bringing back those skills to the classes that we have now only turns the game even more unbalanced - yep, it exists and live among us, the imbalance.
They first wiped all classes the way we knew them, then brought news concepts, and now they dont re-design nothing, but only inject back all those skills that would make each class particular. I'm ok with this inject, but no the way they are doing. Note that in the past, not all tankers had pets, or one would have a better shield def rate over others and so on; not all nukers were imba at dmg, or survivability, neither all daggers were the same - but while ones would be oriented to success rate, others would be to critical and so on too.
But what we r having its a lazy work, from lazy devs. They dont wanna their customers going butthurt, then they dont touch on the concept of the awakening, but make it more powerful, and unbalanced as they try to improve it. Its clear, when you log ingame or experience PvP, as example, that for they do it properly, they need to do a whole nerf (erasing some skills from certains classes, forbidden others), a complete adjustment and a re-design of the awakening process, just to make sense with all the previous functionalities we had before (everyone knows the trouble that we had while ppl were keeping their previous skills even before awakening, or the one that summoners can experience with current ES Wynn and his old Seraphim Uni, just i.e)
Personally, I dont see with good eyes all these "come backs" and the QQtoOP fever they bring along.

Well that and I'd also like to see another area that is as aesthetically well designed as Valley of Saints.
I want to see the dimensional rift back adapted to the new lvls and items (especially spoils) but otherwise entirely the same (vision, mobs, etc.). Like kartia it can be devided in 3 groups by lvl - 85-89; 90-94 and 95-99. That was my favourite place in the whole game. Don't want the catacombs back tho, with the current bot zerg it will be just a waste of ... everything actually; better keep them closed. But somehow the 7signs has to be brought back to live.
They need remove kamael class, the little one winged chicken is the must fail creation since hellbound, judicator still a issue.
Bring game back to medieval age.
Increase number of demons and angels in game. Remove magmeld or turn it in a chaotic land.
Change butterfly of magmeld teleport to a demon or another sacred animation.
Increase castles numbers, put castles in gracia.
Bring back fortress/castle dungeons drops.
Improve the tool "bot report".
Since bosses like baium / QA got a fixed spawn, some people arround the world can't fight against this bosses due to a GMT problems, consider put then in a instanced mode like Frintezza.
