Nothing new with the title, but with the internet technology can any american company control the vpn/bots of foreign countries when they are not bound by the same rules as USA citizens?
supporting is my problem and thankfully for all the f2p players I have supported half the server
this server has many big spenders supporting the game...
all I have to say is that the game managers dont give any special treatment and in actuallity penalize the big spenders compared to all my freeloading friends who have received many free, non questioned benefits in game.
raise your hand if a gm rezzed your pet if it ran away hungry, or if u mistakenly clicked the wrong item for oe....
I will go so far as a gm giving out free.......nevermind.....

How exactly US citizen treated differently in L2? Are you upset what your ISP blocked bot usage on your network or what? And rest of the world is just lawless desert?
And who told you what only US citizen spend money in L2store?
the point of the thread is an arguement vs the legitacamy of the game vs the marketing and economics of making money.
my point is that the justice of enforcing anything in this corporation outside the landlocked state of USA is so impossible that any1 with half a brain can break EULA in half a sec and face no retribution....however those that fall in USA "land" face the full attribute of the law.
So my bias is based on the fundamentall funding of human trafficking by the USA using BR/Greek/Russian partners in the basis of money in vs money out and I have clean hands(NCSOFT is such a clean name)

Fact is.. GMs don't do anything.. if they did clans like Nova, SH, DH, etc etc etc.. would be wiped.

Issue an warrant.. it's not valid outside of your state.. and until you reach Supreme Court / Interpol, it will have expired... unless ofc, you have family in the government.. but that is illegal as well.. to use governmental funds/resources for personal profit.

BTW, less then 5% of the ppl are from America (USA i meant, ços there're many Brazillians too). So your arguable $20 000, is a tiny fraction of what the russian bot pts spent over the last month only ;)
And if you really spent that amount of money ingame, your last problem would be the bots/rmts . So yeah ... we believe you..
topic isnt meant to be about american bots...as they are just as many Im sure.
topic was meant as a discussion on how an american company can enforce its policies/rules on so many players from outside this country that dont recognize the policies/rules.
like what ncwest did to chinese ip's, they couldnt enforce so they just banned.
and the second part of the topic was a thought that the gm's cater more to the bots than the legit players.
for example, i know 1 player who has gotten his same account back 6 times....wtf over....all banned for botting....
