Chaos Essence sold on NCStore

Since there are many threads and, in none of them I have found any correct reply, here the question again.

I would like to know if the Chaos Essence for main class sold on the NCStore, when used, resets or not the olympiad points acquired till that moment.

Thanks.

A friend mine used one from store after first Week of oly and he keep his points, so it dont reset :X what is rly bad :(
