Well i have so many things to say but i want to share some thoughts and ask some questions to the active community about the game future..
As all we can see the game currently is dying and its condition is the worst since 2004.I never saw L2 so tragically bad.Everytime i log in game i feel sick.Heroes talk about pvp scripts and brag who have the best,bots literally everywere,recently i joined 3 times in a row with bot party for K85 and failed everytime becouse of bad optimazition..What the HELL is going on?RMT are nonstop, i received about 30 e-mails from them /block cant do nothing they making 5-6 rmt chars every 1 hour i just went to talking island and you can see the new generation of RMT bot.
This year were anounced some really awsome games including MMO-RPGS.I believe L2 will have very hard time very soon. Tera and Rift went free2play and Archage will come out soon.I dont want to propaganda...but who the hell will keep playing on a botfest game when this freaking game(AA) comes out..? Why the devs dont care? People keep crying about bots and pvp scripts but everyday they keep doing dailys etc like good kitties but only when they get owned they return to script reality and start crying again(this is routine)...I get more tired doing dailys on l2(+general playing) than working 8 hours under sunlight in construction site...wtf is going on with this game..wasn't supposed games to be fun? Were is it NC? WHY THE FREAKING COMMUNITY DONT REACT AND ONLY PAY HUGE AMOUNTS TO THEM??? Only guess i have is people that can never win in any kind of game play this and by cheating think they are pro.. Btw from today i have 20gb more free space on my lap.And really ncsoft(na) i will never miss your crap services again,please do a favor to yourself and learn how to do it right.....You are destroyng the name of the company like this. Also i never played this game competitive or anything like that i never wanted to be pro just reach endgame normally..all my friends quitted but i had hopes something will change so i kept playing..until today..Feel free to share any opinion or your plans about your future ingame too.

I don't play L2 now, maybe I come back later if some future update fix this horrible drop rates. If it happens I'll play on Innova, my brother is playing there and he liked what he saw: 5% or less bots(not 70%+ as NA L2). And no scripts in pvp, much less lag.

that being said...the one thing in tired of people complaining about is the new drop rates....yea it sucks....but its also better cuz people have to actually work for items and gear....thats why people are complaining because they can't play for an hr every 2 days and get full armor and weapon drops....everyone feels entitled to have a plus 6 set with a red weapon just like in real life with people expecting others to support them...

Lineage 2 is Lineage 2 different from another MMOs, every new famous title is over hyped hardly, while after mostly they are hardly fail.
Lineage 2 still made in times, when the MMOs still were art, this will keep its unique magic.
Archeage already out from the Korean top 10 in less than half year, some weeks ago it was behind the Lineage 2 on the rank list, so probably the magic of AA already started to disappear in Korea.
You say this Everquest something as the "biggest sandbox", but it doesn't make a game still to funny.
We play this in every year guys, Oh comes the Warhammer Online, Oh comes the AION, Oh comes Tera, Oh comes the SWTOR, Oh comes the GW2, Oh comes the B&S, Oh comes the AA etc.
BTW mostly the top clan players who looking for PvPs so mostly they will move even to these games, while we legit and Lineage 2 lover players will stay here.
So, probably than with them the amount of bots will decrease too, cuz they wont farm illegal to themselves also will less financial to farmer companies too.
Than players again start to play here, but with the time than bots will again appear in bigger amount if the NC to this time wont try to stop them.

He use to search the new anti cheater program since half year, but still nothing, I dunno how these official progress goes, but if he really do it in this year, he should show up the new and better anti cheat program.
Just wanted to say the reason Nova would like to see a merger is that Nova is running out of customers on Chronus for their botted Adena.
As far as NC west goes they will just run L2 it into the ground. I think the killing blow was the ridiculous drop rates that only people with bots would be happy with and the low adena drops.

As a point of interest GW2 is full of bots....thats why people left and nare still leaving...i guess one awfull experience is enough. NC is not interested in making anti cheater programs.

I do like better the currently drop setup as it used to be, I did reveal a lots of good place to farm adena and do XP and get Adena or be financial to XPing.

Players should play with brain, than they won't need to use cheats.

There is no a normal day, when player do not open new and new thread to bots talk about the same things over and over again, but so **** lazy to write to NCsoft support site and create a useful ticket, what can be helpful at least.
But no no, just spam here, the 2nd type of spammer those players who did stop to play or did went to play somewhere else like Furunkulus or Yunalesca, these are addicts of the forum spam and specialized to demoralize the player, create propagandas or same stuffs.

I made 62% of archer lvl 95 > 96 in 8 hours hunting with vitality + dragon buff.
Hunt, dont give adena.
I switch to my main (dual) class and go to Gainak and hunt merchants with a random group, in 3 hours I farm 63M adena, a good farm for a random group, in 3 hours killing adena mobs I receive 0,05% exp of lvl 97>98.
Farm adena dont give exp.
I want craft a R99 bow. I'm looking for mats. I found mob who drop parts in l2wiki.info. I hunt this mobs for 4 hours and don't got any part. GZ for bots, due to bot existance I can buy parts in Auction. OK, I can buy it by Olympiad Rewards, but look the fame. My character have fame to buy one. Based in a character created in Jul-2012, join all the sieges, all the olympiads, all CoC, all things of game to receive fame, I think a character with one year in server will not receive the ammount of Fame to buy a R99 weapon.

Unfortunately right now there is no way to purchase the Prestige Pack with NCoin. This is because its a 30 day reoccurring purchase so it needs an account to withdraw from. This validation will stop mass account creation / new bot trains.

Maybe you are a lifeless guy as almost all of the "pro players" (bah, who labels themselves as pro players) who spend his time "studying" where to farm.
Any person with 2 hour a day tops to play a game just want to have fun. I use my time studying to farm real money in real life and playing with my kid.
Normal people with life in most cases doesnt spend their two hours a day running thru the field as an idiot trying to find where in hell cokes lvl1 can be found to craft some stupid item.
L2 in most cases is for kids who has the time that is needed to evolve, for the other people there are NCcoins and instances.

Really now this more difficult. I remember getting my first Apo Cuter from SOA quest, along with lots of crystals for example, and many drops that allowed me to equip myself.
Now playing hours to achieve 1% hopefully of my level, I earn pays GK adena, and I have no expenses since I have millions of R event shots. I Sell some boxes for istina or Octavis and pay expenses of playing.
Being legitimate costs a lot, the game is focused on bot farmers which are becoming more and uncontrolled.
The controls are not sufficient, we recognize same bot characters for months and months. All this happens because of the lack of presence of NCSOFT touring servers

Take a spoiler if you want to farm key materials or materials.
Currently all of the exist fansite what gives drop and spoil rates infos are fake me as spoiler did test them out.
Look the R99 bow is currently a top weapon, back in time when the Icarus was the top weapon, we did farm for it like 2 years to get the first Icarus weapon on NA/EU servers.
And now you say, that you didn't get 1 key materials under 4 hours hunting...
Currently only need 10 key materials to craft before was needed 17-40+ to top gears.
So, if you farm out 1 key materials of r99 bow under 40 hours, it is fair amount of time for it.
Currently the economy of the server work without bots only if every players would agree with it, that they farm on open field 3-5 hours everyday in party or in solo.
Also, why is it so necessary, that when you ding the 99, get full R99 stuffs. Look im level 99 since October of 2012, but I do use Blessed Seraph Set and it isn't +6 neither.
I beat heroes in this armor set on Olympiad, I will get my R99 set probably in next month.
Since Lindvior here, I did farm over 10 Billion Adena legally.
In this situation is every starts are hard. NC changed the economic system and it will only better update by update, but 2-3 updates later probably all of you will like the current economic system, because it is good, just currently still on hardcore mode.
People did forget how to play and how to communicate and how to build community in this game.
While probably those who came from private servers or from different games after the GoD, probably no idea, how a Lineage 2 server community should work.
I just can say, that guys go create parties, take a spoiler get a prestige package and go to farm, go to play with friends.
The fact, that the bots are exist in big amount is annoying, but while the players only focus to to make still after the Lindvior too the daily instances, what is technically useless to player itself and more useless to the community of the server.
Currently probably the economy wouldn't work without bots for many players.
I farm out what I need, but many people do not farm just make dailies in instances or quests.
The developers can do everything, while you guys do not change your mind, until you are your own and main issue, that you can't enjoy this game as much as you would like to enjoy it.

EQ Next has things that no MMO has done, and it will be copied in the future MMOs:
- A sandbox world where everything is destructible, players with political powers can contruct entire cities, and the same cities can be destroyed trough wars.
- Events can happen and change the entire world, unlike GW2 events that have 0 effect on the world and repeat in loops, the events on EQN will not repeat and will affect the world permanently. So different servers can have different worlds, if you are bored of your server, change to another and see how the world has become different from your old server's world...
It is just the begining of the all amazing things EQN will bring to the genre MMO. a living and dynamic world that can change constantly and differently on each server. Both players and random and unpredictable events can affect the world.

I loled. L2 grind is a joke now. Ever since it went F2P. These new folks on l2 now dont know what grind really is with or without a boting program. The beauty of L2 grind is that it gave a sense of accomplishment.
