Instead of new launcher how about a better (or any) bot/script removal tool.
You don't need this to remove bots, just need the will, because any experienced l2 player see an obvious bot in 10-60 sec. But... NC doesnt have too much ppl who played lineage2 seriously (may be don't have at all). So they use some "tools" for months to detect if a full auto party exping 24/7 are bots or not :D
May be they also afraid to see server with small online (1000?) after removing all bots...
Sometimes you guys (ncwest staff team) need give us "good news"...really good ones... yes 300% is nice but people are broken, drops are horrible, bots, economy is destroyed etc etc... just check forum how is it now and compare with some months ago...
I understand that you guys maybe have "orders" and time for to do the things, for sure everything is programmed... but look around, the community feedback is not positive.
Do you realize that 80% of the server population are bots ? Bots never complains, they don't even go to the forum. We, as human players, represents 20% ! Who give a f*** about 20% of the customer base while the 80% others pay for XP runes / Drop Runes ?

but honestly now, isnt it a little strange that for shop update and 300% vita with no bugfixes you estimate 5hrs maintenance? ...just sayn'
I'm sorry but why is everyone always up NC's butt for bot removal. Isnt it pretty obvious by now that NC will not do anything about the bots. It's clear NC knows about them. Its just my opinion / 2cents....but the bots are making NC money. If I ran this company...by now my motto would be..." if I cant beat them I will just hire them!"
Thanks!! This is a great update I can't wait to get my characters online! More vitality than you can shake a stick at and I bet more players will be online than last week!
Yes I love this update its the best thing to happen to Lineage 2 in 4-5 years we get 300% vitality and it will last a long time almost a week so happy I will log all my toons and rejoice.

I can't log more than 3 clients in my pc, in last 30 days I see great number of groups with 7 players in the same party, bypass the client limitation is a banable ofense?
I think something is bugged with vitality. I have over half a bar of vitality, but when i hover over it it says 0% being applied. Looking at the system message it says 0 Bonus XP/SP etc.
Not sure if it matters but I was on my 96 dual class, haven't checked main class yet.
edit: switched to main class and vit is being applied properly. only bugged on dual class.
Yet another maintenance passes and yet again I am still getting stuck at the splash screen even now the launcher has been completely updated.
Just opened yet another ticket over this issue.
Pointless really, there's been no movement on any of the previous tickets other than 'support is aware of the problem and dont give a flying copulation event'.
The new laucher is even worse than the old launcher. It doesn't even add an icon for itself to the start menu / desktop etc.. To find how to start the game I had to go looking through the l2 folders.
This company seems utterly incapable of doing anything correctly.
Didn't "Museum Statistics" and the associated town statues get removed because the statistics promoted bad behavior?
I think it get removed 'cause was too easy to find out the bots and the bad users , so they had to shut it off in order to prevent their illegits players to not be found out so quickly :rolleyes:
