Hey guys, I haven't played this game for around 3-4 years now. Is it worth coming back since its now pay to win?. Are the servers well populated?
I had a level 66 or 68 gladiator. Would it be hard to catch up? Also I was on the Teon server, did they merge servers?

It's worth comming back if you have patience. And of course it depends on your playstyle. The servers did merge, however this is no problem since its easier to lvl from 1-90 now.
Chonos and Naia are the two remaining "original" servers, all the old servers were merged; Bartz, Shillen and Megmeld are newer. All server are infested with bots and PVP script cheaters, just search the forums and you will discovered this quite easily.
Does not really matter what server you choose, check the GMT time zones, but be prepared to battle with hundreds of bot trains in every major hunting zone in the game. Also get ready for floods of RMT spam shop in towns as well as in game mails from adena sellers. Lags, server crashes are a daily thing here as well unfortunately, not to mention all the annoying annoying bugs and NPC's disappearing. :D
Leveling in this game to 85 is a walk in the park now, actual game starts at 95+ now.
So if you want to deal with all of that, sure, come on back. :D
well I hope my gladiator is still on my account, it would be heart breaking after the amount of hours grinding I had done. I've known long ago bots were a problem. As long as the game is populated (other than bots) then I may have return. Are there short cuts to the class quests? as I will be playing solo for a good while.

I just returned recently for the umpteenth time too. With mentor buffs + new vitality system getting up to 80 is super fast and up to 85 is significantly easier. I play really casually though, if you had time and pushed it you could be 90 in a week I'm sure.
