Does anyone know if there's a map of the game available to buy anywhere or if one even exists? I have looked online but to no avail.
I know there was one for the old Chaotic Chronicle but is there an updated one? I would gladly pay money to acquire it.
Why? There's a map in game you can look at anytime you want. As far as I know there hasn't been any retail content released in years. The map is always changing so it would become outdated rather quickly.

Exactly, it's in-game. I can only guess that you must be someone who likes virtual things eg. ebooks instead of physical books even though the digtal ones don't really exist per say.
Getting a map of the planet to put on your wall is very different than looking at a virtual one on a monitor.
I had that with a 90-day collector's card i purchased 3-4 years ago and it was inside along with a book with all the races in it with short description . It is pretty cool actually and it's even valuable today, 'cos sometimes in newegg i see similar maps beeing sold for 100EUR+ ...
I really don't know why NC stopped that franchise thing in the stores. The figures were a bit overpriced for the details they contained, but the other stuff was cool. A Friend of mine has a model of Dragon Slayer bought from some collector's edition fro mthe launch of C4. They'd make much more money from that stuff, then from the stupid l2 store nonsense

I have many actual books honestly, but books were cheaper digital copy so I have a tablet or I use my actual kindle to read on. If it's an author I really like then I get a physical copy of the book. You have to realize that most book stores are gone now. The malls by me have no more book stores. There is only Barnes and Nobles. As for music I don't really own a good MP3 player so I don't DL music much, I still buy a CD now and then. My tablet has music apps on it anyways.
Also some authors are only self published and you can only read their books digitally. I've read some really good books for less than $5 and they aren't available in a printed copy.
Digital media isn't the worst, it's constantly updated and much cheaper and you also don't know that I'm 31 years old..I'm not really taping posters to my walls anymore :) I stopped doing that about 14 years ago.
@LethalArcher your map is much older than mine and has many errors. When did Ye Sagira fall on Talking Island and wipe out Cedric's Training Hall, Einhovant's School of Magic, Obelisk of Victory and the Elven Ruins?

Yeah, that is the map I'd be looking for. I have the first Chronicle map but it lacks the top half: Goddard, Schuttgart etc. I very much want it primarily for nostalgia purposes, but hopefully a merchandise store will happen next year and some maps will get printed :)

You should PM Laby. He can probably tell you where in the client files the map is located. Copy it onto an USB stick and carry that to one of the better copy shops, those that do blueprints for architects and stuff like that. They will have the machines to print out the map for you in poster format :)

That was only an example OMG ... Not that actual map. Ofc the guy wants the newest map possible.
Btw yesterday, a friend of mine showed me a physical map of Hellbound. It's super cool :)
And yeah , if you extract the map from the game files you can print it anywhere you want and in any size you want. Almost every bigger copy center has A1 and above printers and plotters so you can print it billboard size even :)
One fast idea that came in my mind.
Open the map in game, maximize it so that you can printscreen it. Paste it and save it in a .jpg or smthing file. Go to a local digital printing company, give them the file and tell them to open and re-size it thought Corel Draw program. The good thing on this prog is that its analogic, and what ever numbers of re-size you give to the image, quality will remain the same (pixels wont show up). Then give them a size that you desire and they print it. Usually these kind of companies have a variety of different paper qualities to choose from, some have even papyrous ones, so that it can look like a real map (but this is more expensive than a print in a single paper quality).
Oooo, think I'll place an order for that, it beats the collectors edition I was going to buy various times in the past but thought "I ain't paying £60 just to get a poster".
Many thanks, and thanks to everyone else who replied - I got much more response than I thought :)
