LVLing Up---how long?

General Discussion Started Last reply 7 posts
Hey guys

I've got a question: I am new to OFFICIAL L2 servers but not new to L2. The thing is that I unfortunately do not have a lot of time to play at all, so I will surely have to buy all the necessary EXP/Vitality boosting potions/scrolls/runes etc. via the L2 in game store. So my question is how long would it take me to get to the lvl 76, 85, 99?

I remember once I could get the 90 day armor/weapon/jewelry set for all the grades up to Dynasty. Is that still the case?

Will I have to complete all the class transfer quests? Would it be the huge 3 stage 2nd class transfer or the 3rd one.

Thanks guys!
You still get free weapons, jewels, armor up through level 80 through the path to awakening. It doesn't take long at all to get to 76, even for a casual gamer.

Out of all of the class change quests, the level 40 one would take the longest, as you have to acquire 20 quest items, which drop I would estimate 1 out of 6. The level 76 class change quest takes about 15 minutes to complete.
It will take you an hour to get to 40. Short cuts:

1. Go get a mentor right out of the gate. You can't shout or talk until you reach level 20, so I suggest leaving a post here on the forum for your server. When people find out that you want to level quickly, they'll jump over each other to add you.

2. Use runes to boost xp and pots that freeze your vitality.

3. Make sure that you go to the Adventurer Guide for buffs and Blessing of Protection (for higher level PKers).

3. Do the Talking Island Quests up to level 20 (your first class change).

4. After level 20, go to Gludio and do the first quest at Windmill Hill. Skip all of the other Bathis quests. Why? See #5.

5. When you reach 22-23, skip the other Bathis quests. It's a waste of time. The adventurer guide buffs are more powerful than ever, allowing you to hunt and kill pinks with little danger. So...Go straight to the Ant's Nest. Go down and kill anything with a pink, yellow or white name. The Noble Ants should be pink to you at 24. Kill until you're level 33-34. With runes and Mentee xp bonus and 300% vitality, those levels will zoom go by in 8-10 minutes, depending on your class.

6. When you reach level 33-34, go to Alligator Island. Yes, even with your D Grade gear. Kill alligators and crocodiles until you reach 38. Again, with all of your xp bonuses, this should take you no longer than 10 - 15 minutes.

7. At level 38, port to Gludio to do your second class change quest. You'll run around Wastelands killing Sakum, or whatever they're called, quest mobs. Done in 5 minutes or so. Less time if you're an elf/DE archer wearing Elven Mithril Set (because of the +7 speed boost and their naturally faster movement speed and ranged attack).

8. After you finish your second class change quest you'll be about 41. Do the Kekropus quests for the most part, continuing to hunt pinks, do the various regional, Palaika and daily quests and you'll be 61 in about 2 hours depending on class.

9. Once you ding 61, add raid boss hunts (esp., in Forest of the Dead) to your itinerary. You'll be 76 in 3-4 hours. Do your third class change.

10. At 77, go find someone that recently awakened and have them powerlevel you in Bloody Swamp. Of course, you'll continue to camp raid bosses and do daily and Kekro quests along the way. Depending on your luck with raids and powerlevling, you'll be 85 in 4-5 hours.

11. I'd tell you how to go the rest of the way, but that would be giving away state secrets. Actually, at this point, you'll know what to do, where to hunt, what quests to do, etc. I will say that at some point the grind really sets in...and unfortunately for you, it wasn't during the first 85 levels. :D
A whole life
