Summer is in full bloom, time for some fun in the sun, well virtual sun that is. To keep you cool this summer we’re bringing you the SWEET SUMMER SLUSHIE event.
These frosty, delicious treats can be crafted by collecting the necessary ingredients and taking them to the lovely NPC Herina. Just bring her the ingredients and she’ll whip one up for you.
Beyond being delicious, the Summer Slushies will also give you some sweet one-hour buffs and will change your appearance to something more appropriate for summer time fun. You can also turn in the Sweet Summer Slushies for cool prizes.
The SWEET SUMMER SLUSHIE event will run from August 14th to September 4th.

Due to an issue with a the Sweet Summer Slushie ingredients not dropping for a few days, we've fixed the issue and extended the ingredient drop date from August 28th to the end of the event on September 4th. The Sweet Summer Slushie ingredients are once again dropping in game.

i can disapoint you a bit. They are 7 days. So maximum 3 weeks you can enjoy this jewels . And with condition you have a lot of money to buy 700 Q items for full set ))
My guess will be that once you claim the reward, it's immediately activated, so the counter starts running from that moment.
I thought this was also the case with previous temporary epics.
So I don't think it is possible to 'stack up' on them.
But as stated, it's a guess.

the bless epics don't have such description so it's really dependable on how you receive them, if in a pack like the Eva Runes then yes you can stock pile them.. if not then obviously no..
having said that this is just paving the way for the same NC Shop update as they have in Korea where Premium Shop account users can buy 30 Day Bless Epics pack - not useable in Oly etc. but still..

One appearance swimsuit stone affects your entire look. Apply it to your chest piece and it'll transform your entire appearance.

It all makes perfect sense if the item is in the store... how disappointing.
NCSoft should drug test whomever programmed this event. I'll spare you the rant over NCoin events, since I've complained previously, but even for an NCoin event this is absurd. The amount of money one would have to spend to get an immortal scroll or a lolmount is ridiculous. Sure, you might have a handful of dumb ppl that spend 2k NCoin to get a 14 day jewel, but this is still the single most useless event put out to date.

Why ppl are reacting like there's something new ? Each summer it's the same story - ppl (incl nc staff) go on vacation. Population of the servers goes down and bots fill the real players' places.

The event price for items just shows lack of market knowledge ingame. If you sell those 3500 event items lets say for 1 million each you just enchant about 5-6 skills +10 with mastery books. Meanwhile +100% book add up you ??? +1 ? :D

I've been exp'ing the last 3 hours. Sofar 0 event items drop in Bartz today. Is there something wrong, because your website say the end will be Wednesday on 28 august?
Hmmm i do not remember if there were any event drops when I did quick SoA today ... But some places like Pagans do not drop them at all, been exping a bit there in small group during weekend.
We're looking into the Slushie drop issue now. We'll update you on this later today.
Yea, they haven't been dropping for a few days now. Please don't turn this event back on either, the server has magically been running better since these things stopped dropping too.

This event gives nothing (no adventure, no enjoy, no useful things)... :( Drop is ok, but for who ? If you want some meaningful that remains after 1 weeks you should hunt forever or do something like buy... 5000 Slushies means 50k ice. From the begining, I only had 46... so... If I divide and multiply, seems to have hunting for the next 5000 days. :( Under these days, my personal license card will expires :O :D
In my opinion, if you make the items not tradeable from the dropped items to the rewards, that solving the bot problems. Set lower the reward prices to give some meaningful to the player who can remember to the event after...
At my point of view, the event should give something useful relic as remainder against 1 week "God blessed nothings" like Baium 1 week editions. :rolleyes:

I wouldn't assume so, if the event ends on the 4th then the items will be deleted on the 4th. You just got an extra week of items dropping, not an event extension by a week.

first, I would say that given the choice of reward to players is a good thing (when there are, and it is increasingly rare, it must be said oO)
Now, i hav question to NcWest, where do you buy your weed ? Cause i want the same *-* i think they strong and tasty QQ.
And I understand why you want us to buy as many ncoin because it must be very expensive

after some session of farm in solo (with tyrr + iss in my back) we have (average) :
Ice for summer slushie -> 10 per hour
Cream for summer slushie -> 50 per hour
Chocolate for summer slushie -> 50 per hour
Biscuit for summer slushie -> 50 per hour
(i rounded the result)
Now, i think all are agree to say the only item really interesting is immortal scroll.
With this data, take for exemple a casual player who logged 2 hours per day (and assuming that no longer makes any instance and only plays solo). He need 1750 days for ice and 350 days for other items oO. Well, maybe staff speak about auction or private store and L2store...
OK. Keep this same player, you really think he hav enough adena to buy this ? And you really think he want to pay something about 35k ncoin for Ice ???

Hey NcWest, i hope one day, you understand if you make the necessary against bots and stop to do anything at all to make your benefit, many legit players will be more motivated to pay ncoin ... At this time you become worse than the politicians with your l2store.

Well, when f2p start, the first events were good, no need ncoin...NcWest forgets his legit player...sad.
Same for l2store, when f2p start, its not so bad....but now, its not the same story ...And worse, it begins to create an inequality between those who can invest a lot and those who hav less money. And more, players who make the same as rmt (adena sale) and in addition sell toons, can happily reinvest in l2store...very sad.
