Why do NCsoft NA put those tupid and silly items into game? Just because korea think its funny, NA might Think diffrent or do NA have nothing at all to say about things?
Why not put items in game that reflects the Lineage2 era like cloaks, helmets. Caps with sunglasses and police hats, bathing suits and other SIM lookalike stuff.. affro hair... wow
Generally Korean and Japanese game developers (as well as anime/manga/ any digital entertainment) either have no idea or have a complete inability to maintain a consistent mood, theme or setting.
They also have a propensity for going one step too far in their designs. For example adding skulls or animal heads on weapons/armor when even when those skulls/weapon heads completely ruin the design and are incredibly ugly.
They are answering the deep desires of the player base, it is obvious we play this mmo so we can pretend to be in real life wearing two piece bating suits and surf board shorts.
Yeah, creating 21st century fashion items in our castles and dragons realm makes for big profits... staying true to the lore doesn't.
