How I can improve FPS in L2?
Is there any way? :confused:
In Aden I've: 7 FPS, max 15 FPS, with full high, AA 4x, Realistc Water Effects on
But in ALT+P, with all lower, still have low FPS, 14 FPS and max 23 FPS
I really don't understand why L2 have so lower fps, this graphic in FULL is still bored
faster drive ... what's killing your performance in L2 is the archaic game engine that caches very little in your graphics card vram preferring to constantly load it from disk.
Faster CPU - Lineage 2 relies on CPU more than on graphic card. Overclocked single core Pentium IV used to be faster than modern multicore.

There is water underneath whole map, and I remember it used to cause problems because it gets calculated. Maybe they upgraded or fixed it since, try turning those water effects off.

Cloacks and Water realistic is nice :3
I don't understand why when I turn on water realist, can't see shadow ><

I was offering more general tips to improve performance, things that cause visual lag the most. Regarding no shadows with advanced effects - I noticed few complains that since some patch they are somehow broken :( Regarding SSD - it's really nice, I am still not sure if you will see extreme increase in performance in terms of FPS, rather overall responsiveness. It's an old game that still relies heavily on CPU, despite maintenance and upgrades of the engine there is not whole lot to be done if core of the engine was built in different era of computing. Loading times are something completely different though. Being able to port and start moving almost immediately, instead of waiting for hard-drive to crunch through data is priceless.
I've still low FPS in Aden, arround 17~23 but playing in (High Quality)
But now NPC load 5x more fast, and I've less Lag in Mass PVP/Siege/Epics Bosses
