Trouble using forums with iphone? - Retail Forum Archives

Anyone using an iphone having trouble logging into the forums? I was able to do it on my HTC merge and my samsung tablet no problem.

Well it's not a cell phone so no it probably doesn't count. I'll have to mess with it later and see if I can figure it out.

ETA when I turn my wifi off and use my carrier's 4G it doesn't let me log in, my wifi let's me log in.

I fixed it yesterday. It wasn't even the phone's fault. It was a issue with authorizing it. I just bought the phone Friday and switched carriers so that's probably why the site wouldn't recognize my phone,but would let me log in if I was on my wifi.

I've had no problem since. iphones work amazing.

Thought it was going to be authorization, I had to relog and authorize mobile carrier network just few hours ago.

I didn't ask for iPhone opinions. The iPhone and Samsung galaxy are $199. Just depends what you want.

Traveling for work I have had to reauthorize my iphone/cell tower IP address in order to browse the forums if I wanted to do so logged in. I used to save the authorization but now if I am out of the area for a few hours and try again I must reauthorize again. sooty now I will just browse as guest and save the hassle.

True, seems I have to authorize it repeatedly if I am in a different area. My HTC never had this issue,but I did switch to Verizon so that combined with a different phone might be why.
