I read many threads about "Innova is better than NCSoft" or a comparance made between NCWest and Innova.
No I would like to know: What are YOUR personal reasons for playing here? Except that you play here for a while and dont want to bother creating a new char on a new server.
Well it is just quest of viewpoint which company is the better.
Innova hasn't too much cheater, but as I read their forum, the adena sellers are appeared there too.
So for those who maybe has here a high level well geared character, doesn't cost to leave and restart there, if the local cheaters mean problem to the player here.
Because maybe 1-2 year later when he could achieve those, what he got here, would appear there the bots too in higher amount.
Also the main reason, that Lineage 2 is just Lineage 2 wit the NCsoft, without these guys it isn't Lineage 2 on Innova there isn't the feeling, that you play L2.
I did try the Innova EU the Innova RU and I haven't Lineage 2 feeling there.
Also Innova EU got lower population too and while the NCwest servers has global population, so 0-24 u have good chance to find parties, until the Innova servers just active mostly in European prime times.
I just can say, that if you dont feel good on NCsoft server just lets do quit at all and dont reroll on different private servers, doesn't cost the time.

now in ~1 year i get 99/90 80 80 + 2 alts 92-93 lvl. started from 0. so again 1 year + pay for premium to get opportunity to dualbox.. and again do same crap over and over again? what's point? no ranger? no bots? are you sure that these servers also clean from that?
now i'm not sure but almost all events there also from ingame shop for $$. so almost same. just restriction on dualbox (want boxed toons - pay).
and reason why i stay here simple - there i have old friends, so what point go somewhere where you don't know anyone, start from 0, do same over and over again all year, and at the end what.. you can do same here. :)

I've swtiched to Innova as well after I started to play here since Hellbound, but quit because of the bots. When the GoD update came I thought that they HAD to ban bots now.... oh god was I wrong :)
Howerver, since I play on Innova servers I can say its very very good, I haven't seen a single bot once yet. Yes its true there are adena spammers in town, but nowhere near the spam compared to NCWest. And I tell you, I really forgot the feeling when Attacking someone and that guy is actually attacking back :D. I pity the players still playing on NCWest, because they will NEVER get rid of the bots.... and its not because they dont want to.

Just go back to your EU PS. Innova is the biggest joke between the so called official servers. You think there aren't any bot users/3rd party soft users? You just need to look in the right spots to find them, moreover Innova not being P2W? blasphemy! We never had here at NCWest already enchanted +7 Power Shirts in shop, nor cheap so called "Divine Scrolls", that give safe enchants till +12 etc. for CHEAP prices, like Innova does. P2W? No bots? Think again before you spread your ridiculous propaganda on other forums.
As for the topic itself. It's hard to leave the people that you already know for such a long time and just switch to a wannabe perfect server. Also leave from here where you spent lots of time to build up your character and then just leave it halfway finished, in a way it would be "disrespectful" to your char :D

Example R gem costs 1,2m Adena each, you need 5000+ of them to make r99 2nd SA, what is 6b Adena, it is fixed.
You can sell R gem for 100k too, but nobody won't sell it.
And if we looks where is easier to get 6b Adena legally, at the NCwest or at the Innova, the answer easy at the NCwest.
Active skill enchant from +9 to +10 also costs like 120m Adena OE all of your skills to +10 will cost you like 20b Adena totally, where is easier to get this Adena legally? ofc on NC servers.
Look, the Frost constantly check your whole PC, work like a spyware, can collect any kind of data from your PC and this is illegal in the United States and in the European Union too, this is why the NCsoft doesn't use anti-cheater program like this and not only the NCsoft, but another companies neither.
Also if you wouldn't have bots, wouldn't be Adena sellers on Innova server, if you haven't bots, but have sellers, it means Innova GMs are corrupt. They already corrupt in Russia, isn't surprise if they try to get extra incomings through this way in Europe too.
Also maybe the lowbie quests are nerfed here, but this +/- 5 million Adena what a lowbie able to get from these quests is nothing, nothing at all.

Im luvin this..there's only 1 +12 r+ weapon in server( on naia there's 1 or 2 +12 for every top or semi-top party, afterall you never had "safe enchants" in store but somehow ppl made +12+++ weapons:rolleyes:) , i dunno where you seen bots on eu server, but ill take my chances you haven't even played there but heard from some bot here, as usual...i roam every 85+ spot for PVP for 6 months, still haven't found one bot.
if they (innova) add dewr in their ingame cash shop in 1 day you will see more red weapons than you ever seen in any l2j server :)
and also funny thing in innova is gm's mail with adena checking feature.. if you sent 1b or more they delete that adena with 99% chance. so gl to play in server like that.

If you say this statement is false you may not fully understand what is going on around your toon and the game world. If you play with cheats, stay here and you will have an enjoyable game time. Obviously, you can play legit and be 100% hardcore and get 99/99 and join a top guild, but top guilds are not legit so.... be 100% hardcore/legit and play alone or in an small guild and dont achieve anything at all. Too much to think about.

Top guilds aren't legits totally on Innova servers neither, on Russian server it is well know, that they same cheaters as top clans here, on Innova EU they has lesser amount of cheaters in top clans, but they have. Some of top clan of Innova EU did confirmed this too, some months ago.
But I never understand, why Innova people call to funny their server or community if many of them always around our forums and use to commenting here, It just provide to us, that Innova is boring.
1. Country where you live - Innova is European time zone, most Europe players. NCWEST have severs dedicated for America and Europe time zones;
2. Bot situation is near disaster on NCWEST servers. If your start from scratch without support keep in mind that all best xp/adena places would be used by bots (some quest are joke due to amount of bots in some zones). Regarding frost it's propaganda (usualy from non tech people/kids), it's not the best but it much better than NCWEST gameguard regarding detecting 3party soft...
3. Consider where you have friends/clan - it would be big help.
4. Support on NCWEST is annoing (in nice words they are living in their own world and usual customer looked down..they would not move a finger to check bots or whatever. ncwest gm have some buffs and small broken hammer. innova gms more live and care about game..).
5. How you want to obtain level - with botting or legit (on ncwest it would be not big problem bot if not step on top clan spots). On innova bot would be more harder..
6. Economy is didsater on NCWEST, bots selling and ruining everything what you can achieve with spoil, farm and so on.
7. How much you like to pvp - on ncwest it would pvp mostly agains scripts and 3rds party soft..o innova more real pvp..
Can continue this list, but choice is generaly yours..

Top clans = Top ebayers/botters/cheaters/red weapons
Farming adena = Since lindvior , you cannot farm things easly 'cause you wont get any full drop at all nowdays , so for buy and get some good stuff , you must : play for years or just buy adenas from RMT
Community = Not even need to say it , right? It's true , Naia got more players logged that Innova (core) , Naia have daily 4500 players on , Core lot less (i guess , there isn't a site for prove it) , but of 4500 players on in Naia , 3000 are bots , so i guess there isn't any difference at all :p
Gameplay = NCWest are P2W , go and try to kill any of the lolplayers who bought red weapons , it doesn't matter who they're or how they play , a red weapon will be in any case able to kill you with few shots (usually,'cause lots of players in Naia with red weapons land insanely ridicolous damages...so i guess that the only reason to have a red weapon is being able to call yourself a "pro ebayer") , to not mention that the EU players have insane delay (my connection is not so bad , but i have always at least 1 second delay on everything)
Item Price = In naia the price for 1 PvP stone is like 1b+ , for a legit player , is totaly impossible to afford that , the only thing a legit player can now "afford" may be a 2SA on a R99 weapon , it cost 5k gem R , but now you can spoil it , you must grind a lot but it's doable (if you find a spot free in Bottuilline Fortress)
In the other hand , Innova (core) got :
Top clans = So far i never saw a red weapon , i heard that Troy got a +12 bow , but as far as i saw , it isn't +12 , it's +7 , and not even PVP , but PVE
Farming adenas = Same as Naia , but no RMT around (so far never saw any , maybe once , disappeared after 15 mins) and prices are by far lower (Octavis necklace +6 2b , in Naia +0 5b+) and farming is not so hard , at lvl 85 i got already 100kk , made by drops , raids and luck from event ;)
Community = Don't know it yet , but for now , never saw an hero insulting in HV (just some random "wtb brain" to AllEyezOnMyPony) and when i did PVP against toons with TW (immortal +0 , no elemental , dual requiem cleans) , i won , and they didn't offended half my family tree , "gf" "gf" to village.
Gameplay = Totaly not P2W , it's true. Core got divine scrolls with 100% rate , and? Rate to get that is insanely low , price for 1 PVP stone is 400kk , and lots of heroes still with seraph and hero weapons , in Naia they doesn't need hero weapons , they already have +16 R95/R99 weapon 2 SA 300 with PVP , for EU players , no lag at all , no delay on movement after click
Item price = by far lower. Core price for epics jewels is a lot lower , Octavis ring 2.5b (even lower) , in Naia 6b+ , rly?
About bots , in every server , official or not , there are bots. But the difference between the 2 servers , is that , even if GMs are corrupted (as you say) , they're active , they always answer your petitions (in game one are bugged , you got disconnected , but online petition work perfectly) and ban bots who are around , i went in Lair of Antharas : Core = 1 train (even answering , but only 1 answering at time and toons doing the same movements over and over , spoiler was : mug > phisical hit > mug > phisical hit > mug *repeat*) , in Naia : 95% of the rooms got by bots with same names , the problem is that you have to pay 9 euros to play with 2 box (to not mention extra items+2x exp and 300% vp bonus), and? I started playing in Teon back in 2006 and i was paying 12 euros just to play.To not mention that some players who pay "**" and "t" and "wtfast" pays about 10-20 euros ("t" is pay once and gl forever) , with 34 euros you got 6 months of premium in innova :)
Everyone is free to play in the server he/she enjoy the most , no bots and less players , or 90% bots and more players? ^^

For all who wonder about the differences between the servers, you can do a simple thing (it really takes very little of your time):
-Create a new character on one server from each company
-Level it up to level 30 visiting all areas up to 30 level according to quests (I assume that you can tell a bot from its behaviour)
-Visit Giran/Aden player shops, check Ah prices
By now, you will know all you need to know about the differences between NC Soft and Innova servers.

Can't speak about US, but in EU Frost is legal. If it was illegal "spyware" 4games would be forced to remove it, an I believe Frost was developed in EU, so it would mean law suit against developers. So basically this argument is false.
On-topic: I play here, because it is NCWest, I see Inno just as another private server, that got hands on server files and trying to make money from kids and their parents pockets. (I'm not saying, that same doesn't go for NCWest, but still NC is NC)

Let's ignore the fact that threads like these break several of the forum rules, they are essentially pointless. You are comparing apples to oranges when you compare both companies... So the fact that some of you Innova fanboi's actually took the time and effort to create forum accounts here, simply to post how much better a completely different product is, is amusing in itself.
I'm happy you guys like Innova so much, Great! The reality of the situation though, if it's so much more amazing than NcWest, why do you waste your time coming over here to boast about it? I don't think I deserve to be called stupid for playing here and not innova. I've dedicated a lot of time here and have many friends. I'm not about to go start over on a server and not know a soul on it. This doesn't make me stupid. I enjoy my friends and my investments here.

Talking about NCWest vs Innova: Innova provides a better gaming environment for legit players nowadays.
I haven't checked Innova EU/RU servers myself (only read some stuff in their forums) so I can only say this:
I cannot imagine anything worse than the current state of NCwest servers, therefore anything that offers at least slight improvements in the terms of fair play (less bots/cheats etc) is better than NCwest.
Obviously, you can play legit and be 100% hardcore and get 99/99 and join a top guild, but top guilds are not legit so.... be 100% hardcore/legit and play alone or in an small guild and dont achieve anything at all.

I saw Innova EU GMs thinking that Lindvior is an instanced raid... while it isn't... Unfortunately I lost all screenshots from the PTS...
Also, next time coming here spreading lies about how big of an utopia Innova is, try petitioning Admins to make servers and site stable

The amount of emergency maintenances is mindblowing. Also those constant disconnects people experience there used to be geographically clustered. My constant on core, rest in peace, used to have one person with this problem while six others having none.
In general though the average time of getting assistance was lower the amount of cheaters - much lower, the problems - similar to ncwest but sometimes they avoid applying patches that lead to server instability so fixes sometimes take more time on the cost of server stability. So it might not be utopia, the player base there is generally worse the population is very time zone dependent and seemingly lower (even though if you extract bots from Naia they'd be similar).
All in all I'd say ncwest servers are more fun because the amount of cheats and ebayers and the extent of what they do. Because you compete against them. If you don't like being against the odds though Innova's core is not a bad choice at all.
My personal choice is to compete with people who can interrupt 11 major skill casts in one fight than with people who you can win with relative ease just because you're used to play against robot chickens.

Only if NC West makes a concerted effort to monitor and take action against the obvious non-human actions of the cheaters. But it looks that would be against their best interests since it appears that those that spend lots of money on ncoin are exempt or at best get a slap on the wrist. I really hope I am proved wrong but I can see myself and many others who also buy ncoin and refuse to cheat becoming disenfranchised with the imbalance in game. It's been going on for years so it may be too late to stem the tide. Time will tell, unfortunately time is running out imo.

I guess it's useless to say it but for the record the guy who got 14 GG errors in a row on sunday 11 GG errors in a row on saturday is any 3rd party software program free. The problem is failiure to connect to the gameguard server which were down on several occasions in the last 3 days. Again if you failed to notice it it's your problem not mine.

I do have fiber optic connection to home. The problems that make people use lag reduction is in Level 3 Communications.

07-30-2013 which happen to be second to last time we had non-shop patch applied. General hitrate of successful patches over the last one year when a patch that modifies more than the shop is applied if you care to check is under 50%.

There are two dozens of people on Cadmus who have certain popular cheating program working. Unlike you some of us have played there and seen the ru servers live not just in youtube. People have cried wolf before there is wolf in the area many times in many games. I remember people on Core forums describing what paradise of awesome service NCWest is, how they combat cheaters successfully etc. If you don't have live interaction with the population on the particular server and you have no base to compare two servers and just read what people write you cannot be objective in any way about those things.

The three less populated servers combined and divided by two added to chronos and naia cannot achieve this. Again it's simple observation of the server population during major protocol change.

No such times wont happen. Even before the era of every kid installing certain cheating program large percentage of the popular names were using third party software. If you go really far back in time for sure you'll find not nearly as amazing cheaters as nowadays but again enough to make a difference. The times that I can't say anything about unfortunately are so far back that really few people can vouch about them so I don't deem them representative.

its the same even innova cant fix stuff on their own at least it was stated more than once that only korea has the power and the control over the patches
the reason why both companies might have different bugs could be that different things are requested from korea and korea sends different patches to already different patched servers :p

I play NCwest and I always have since C1 but I must say that if there are no cheaters on Innova then that would definitely be the place to play. I have never heard much about Innova EU until this thread.

I have not heard too much about Innova until this thread. I guess I never put forth much effort into it because I keep myself busy. However, hearing more info about this server is more and more intriguing. I will have to check out the website and get the 4game client downloaded. I would gladly give up my Feoh Storm Screamer to play on a server that consists of a legitimate player run economic & political system.
I think it is funny that so many fellow Ncwest players post here complaining and flaming you Innova posters when they do not have "legitimate" (haha) reasonings to support staying on NcWest servers. The majority of people here should be gracious to fellow L2 players coming onto these forums and saying "Hey! You guys have got to come check this out! There are no bots which means true competition!" I can understand where the Innova player's motivation on NcWest forums come from. I would compare it to finding a new clan and going back to your old clan and telling people "Guys...you won't believe this clan! The clan leader is great and so is the community! Come check it out!" There is honestly no reason to be rude to the Innova players who are just simply wanting to share something great with other people around the world who play the game they love as much as all of my fellow legit players!

Innova's boards? I am a currently an NCwest player so I have no clue about Innova's boards (yet anyways). From the looks of it people playing Innova would not pay attention to NcWest advertisements. I think it would just be a reminder of how great legitimate game play is and they would stay there. Apparently they have an active staff so the NcWest advertisements would not last long on Innova forums. Reality is that staying on NcWest servers is not too bright due to the cheating that will never disappear because of the players and Ncsoft. I look forward to checking out the server when I get home from work.

"Sadly, no one cares." is exactly why the cheating will never go away. I do not think that Innova is a scapegoat if they maintain an ethically sound product and service. Do not get me wrong! I wish NcWest did not have these problems since the beginning of time. I literally did not know much about Innova until recently and I think that it would be something neat for legitimate North American players to consider. Not only North American players but players all over the globe.
