Tomorro' be Talk Like A Pirate Day, ye land lubbers! To celebrate this fun novelty holiday, we're puttin' your pirate knowledge t' the test.
Starting at 11:00am PDT on September 19th, we're going to post multiple choice, pirate themed questions on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/lineage2) and forum. The first 4 players to answer the questions correctly get beautiful treasure!
Our clan will join the idea and do something similar on clan chat.
We will make pirate questins every 3h and first to answer will get a random reward between:
- Pack of 10 spirit ore (Enought to buff nobless twice!!!!)
- 100 Soulshot-R or 50 Blessed (yes yes, blessed) Spiritshot R
- 5 SOE to CH
- 1 BSOE to CH (this one has very low chance).
Monkey Island:
- Have you stopped wearing diapers yet?
- Why, did you want to borrow one?
I hope NCsoft likes deleting my previous post in this thread. I guess you do not respect other peoples criticism and opinion about Facebook. Maybe I said it wrong before.
This is a Event where you send people to an off-site website. A website where you obligate people to register if they want to be part in this "Talk Like A Pirate Day Quiz Event". A website where you as Company can not guarantee our privacy in general. Since it was your company who send us there to register an account to particpate for a Event. All of this trouble so players like me can answer 6 questions which in my opinion, if I am not mistaken, can also be answered easily in a Forum Topic like this.
I really liked to participate and try earn a fair share of the rewards. So I am sorry to disappoint you and tell you that I do not have/own a Facebook account. Nor will I register since it is well known that your Privacy does not come #1 on Facebook. So I guess I am out from this Event.

You don't have to play on Facebook... they will do this event on our forums after the Facebook event ends. Overreacting about something so trivial is not necessary.

Please complain also about them sharing codes for masks on Twitter since years, while I don't have a Twitter account :rolleyes:

Yes, I saw they also put a 2nd part of the event in the Forum. The KICKoff was on Facebook first. This is in a perfect EU time (right now). When the Forum part starts most EU players go to bed or are already in bed. People like me. Already past 22:12pm now for me ... :(

Just seconds between the edit and the real comment. Would that change the winners list ? Is unfair to do that... I know that today is the pirate talking day ... act like a pirate... get the treasure... scam... but well... is unfair.
